Regular Season Week 11

We’re heading into week 11 and we’re down to 2 undefeated teams, New England, and Carolina. You know they say “On any given day, any given team can win” this will be my catch phrase for this past week. Out of all 14 games that were played only THREE home teams won. It’s safe to say that home field advantage wasn’t very present this time. Subsequently, I went 4-10 on my picks.
As I said last week, I was in Cleveland visiting my BFF so I think out of the 14 games played I watched the Bills/ Jets game and the last quarter of the Patriots/ Giants game, and after that game I was numb and didn’t care to watch anymore football.
I would like to thank my new friend Quentin for giving me score updates and good conversation on my long drive home from Cleveland (PS he’s also a Giants fan so I see good things for us in the future).
Peyton Manning broke another NFL record with most passing yards, previously held by Brett Favre, but then was benched after throwing 4 interceptions. As it turns out he hurt his foot…
Rob Ryan was fired after the Saints’ humiliating loss to the Redskins and Cam Newton’s dance after a touchdown has been a topic of conversation all week.  Bring back the celebration dances please!
Thankfully, the Giants can’t lose in week 11 (Thank God for the bye week) and they signed Hakeem Nicks back after Cruz went on IR (injure reserved)

Let’s recap week ten.

Bills @ Jets 22-17
Old Rex Ryan finally got a win in the Meadowlands!!! What an exciting game.  I laughed out loud when the Bills won, as it was amusing and funny watching Rex.

Lions @ Packers 18-16
Have you noticed the Packers haven’t won a game since Mike Ditka put on that Packers vest for the McDonalds commercial?  Crazy. When Quentin told me this score I didn’t believe him. I may have even called him a liar. Sorry man.

Cowboys @ Buccaneers 6-10
Thanks Bucs! The Giants really needed you to win! NFL

Panthers @ Titans 27-10
9-0 Guys! #keeppounding.

Bears @ Rams 37-13
Hey, well the Bears decided to show up! Sorry Bumblebees.

Saints @ Redskins 14-47
I mean, when you play a team that doesn’t have a defense you can throw a lot of TD passes. Kirk Cousins threw a career high 4 touchdowns against the Saints. Well done, Kirk or pathetic defense, Saints?

Dolphins @ Eagles 20-19
I’ve waited to say this pretty much allll season. Miami is ahead of your ami. Tehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe. Thanks Miami you really helped the Giants.

Browns @ Steelers 9-30
Big Ben was the backup and didn’t intend to play but had to come off the bench when their starter got hurt. No big deal. Sorry Brownies.

Jaguars @ Ravens 22-20
Usually I’d say, tough year to be a Jaguars fan; but now I’m saying, tough year to be a Ravens fan...

Vikings @ Raiders 30-14
The Vikings are at the top of the NFC North… Say whaaaaaaat?!

Patriots @ NY Giants 27-26
I only watched the 4th quarter of this game. And it brought me back to 8 years ago. Then, I knew we could beat the Pats and I had the same feeling this time. We didn’t do it in the regular season, but we did in the Super Bowl. Maybe we’ll have a repeat of a repeat of a repeat… this loss still stung, don’t get me wrong, but the season isn’t over and we are still at the top of the NFC East.

Chiefs @ Broncos 29-13
Poor Peyton.  That’s all I can say about this game.

Cardinals @ Seahawks 39-32
Crazy to think that the Seahawks were in the Super Bowl last year, cause they are definitely not the same team this year.

Texans @ Bengals 10-6
And another one bites the dust. The Texans handed the Bengals their first loss of the season. Oh yes, and JJ Watt picked on Andy Dalton after the game and Dalton didn’t take it gingerly.
