Regular Season Week 7
Well, I’m doing marginally better on my picks (8-7), I lost
in fantasy, but the Giants won so everything is a-o-k with me. There is another London game Sunday morning,
so that’s exciting! Go Giants! The only downside is you have to have to have the
NFL Network to watch the game (or you can be sneaky like me and stream it
elsewhere).
There were some big injuries this past week, namely Green
Bay’s RB Eddie Lacy and Pittsburgh’s QB Big Ben. Week seven should be a good
one, and if you’re a Panthers fan there is good news, Carolina can’t lose this
week, they have their bye. Anyway, let’s recap week six.
Broncos @ Chargers 13-21
I’m not sure what was uglier this game, the Bronco’s defense
or their uniforms. Nike’s color rush is not cool and it hurts my eyes.
49ers @ Bills 16-45
GO BILLS! And they did.
Eagles @ Redskins 20-27
This game was supposed to end in a tie… thanks a lot Eagles.
FAIL.
Browns @ Titans 26-28
Another week, same storyline, the Browns were in the game
until the final minutes.
Ravens @ NY Giants 23-27
Well, it wasn’t pretty, and the Giants made a lot of stupid
mistakes, but somehow they came up with the win. The refs didn’t help AT ALL!
How the hell was that defensive pass interference?!?!?!?!?!?! Still makes me
angry. I’m thankful Eric still likes me, because there was A LOT of yelling at
the tv during this game. OBJ is great, and I love that his new bff is the
kicker’s net. It’s a great relationship. Now if Eli could get his act together
and we could stop drawing penalties we’d be unstoppable. Love you Gmen, and I’m
glad for the win…. Finally.
Panthers @ Saints 38-41
I’m really glad I don’t live in Charlotte now, Panthers fans
must be miserable to be around. Man oh man. Way to go, Saints.
Jaguars @ Bears 17-16
Chicago had it in the bag but forgot that there was a fourth
quarter and threw the game away.
Rams @ Lions 28-31
Yup, I knew picking the Rams would ensure a Lions victory,
and I was right. Oh well.
Steelers @ Dolphins 15-30
Miami beat “your-ami” and Big Ben was taken out of the game
and will be out for 2-4 weeks. Well done Dolphins.
Bengals @ Patriots 17-35
Tom Brady’s back… blah blah blah.
Chiefs @ Raiders 26-10
The Chiefs came off their bye full speed and rolled the
Raiders.
Falcons @ Seahawks 24-26
I don’t agree with the no pass interference call at the end
of the game but I was glad to see that the Seahawks won.
Cowboys @ Packers 30-16
Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the packers looked like poo.
That’s all I’ve got to say about this game.
Colts @ Texans 23-26 OT
The Colts were up 2 touchdowns when I fell asleep, but I
made it to the 4th quarter this time. I was quite surprised, but
happy, that the Texans won in OT.
Jets @ Cardinals 3-28
In order to win in fantasy this week the Cardinals defense
needed to not show up and David Johnson couldn’t touch the ball. Well, the
opposite happened and I lost miserably, much like the Jets.
