Regular Season Week 15

I can’t believe that it’s week 15 already. I feel like this season has flown by.   I am still on vacation in Hilton Head SC and it’s been an amazing week so far. This past Sunday I was able to watch a lot of great football and the Giants gave me an early birthday present with a win! My actual birthday is this Saturday, and I don’t mean to be greedy, but I’d like another Giants win on Sunday.
I did much better on my picks this past week at 13-3 and my fantasy team is currently winning in our playoff bracket.

 Anyway…
Let’s recap week 14

Cowboys @ Bears 41-28
I would have picked the Bears to win and clearly I would have been wrong.

Rams @ Redskins 24-0
Thank God for the Redskins, without them the Giants would be at the bottom of the NFC East.

Steelers @ Bengals 42-21
This game really wasn’t that surprising; it’s just too bad that it had to be a divisional loss for the Bengals.

NY Giants @ Titans 36-7
The first half was amazing, outstanding, wonderful, but the Giants almost always seem to have great first halves. I’m not gonna lie, I was almost sick when Eli threw that pick 6 to start the 3rd quarter… it was if he was saying “here we go again, I’m going to literally throw this game away.” BUT there wasn’t a downward spiral and the Giants won for the first time since October. Beckham had another great game as did RB, Andre Williams and our entire defense played very well.
I’m proud of you boys! GO GMEN!!!!

Panthers @ Saints 41-10
Yes, you read that score right. Don’t worry I thought it was a typo too. It’s safe to say that the Saints are NOT the same team they were last year, I mean neither are the Panthers but the Saints are more shocking.

Jets @ Vikings 24-30 OT
Poor Jets, can’t even get a win in overtime. Shocking? Not so much.

Ravens @ Dolphins 28-13
Not much to report on this game.  Although I did see some dolphins yesterday, they were swimming in the ocean.  Tehehehe. I love vacation.

Colts @ Browns 25-24
I mean, I’m not surprised that the Colts won I just didn’t think it would be such a heartbreaking loss for the Browns.

Buccaneers @ Lions 17-34
Pretty sure this didn’t shock anyone.

Texans @ Jaguars 27-13
This was one of the games that I “watched” this weekend. And when I say “watch” I mean the game was on in the other room while I was crouched in front of my computer watching the Giants game. It was nice looking up and seeing J.J. Watt on the big screen though.

Bills @ Broncos 17-24
Apparently there were some pretty bad calls in this game, at least that’s what all Bills fans will say. Even though they lost they didn’t allow Peyton to throw a touchdown pass for the first time in 51 straight games, and they picked him off twice. I guess you could say that Peyton played more like his little brother.

Chiefs @ Cardinals 14-17
I knew the Cardinals would bounce back.

Seahawks @ Eagles 24-14
Thanks Seattle!!!!!! Love you!

49ers @ Raiders 13-24
HA!!!!! TOLD YOU SO!

Patriots @ Chargers 23-14
Well, the first half was good. meh.

Falcons @ Packers 37-43
This was quite a game. Snow, cold, some amazing picks and a Falcons attempt comeback. Glad the Packers pulled off the win though.

WEEK 14

Thursday December 11th

Cardinals (10-3) @ Rams (6-7) [8:25pm NFLN]
I think that this is actually going to be a good game. I’m going to pick the Cardinals to win but I won’t be surprised if the Bumblebees pull off the upset.

Sunday December 14th

Redskins (3-10) @ NY Giants (4-9) [1pm FOX]
Alright boys, I’m picking the Giants for the win. Remember Gmen, it’s my birthday and I’m kind of a princess when it comes to things that I want. Don’t let me down.

Steelers (8-5) @ Falcons (5-8) [1pm CBS]
Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’ll be rooting for the Falcons… I’m picking the Steelers for the win but really hoping for a tie.

Dolphins (7-6) @ Patriots (10-3) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Pats.

Raiders (2-11) @ Chiefs (7-6) [1pm CBS]
I’m going with the Chiefs.

Texans (7-6) @ Colts (9-4)  [1pm CBS]
This should be another good game. I’m picking the Colts to win, mainly because Andrew Luck is my QB in fantasy.

Bengals (8-4-1) @ Browns (7-6) [1pm FOX]
Johnny Football will be the starting QB for the Browns and I think he’ll get the win too.

Jaguars (2-11) @ Ravens (8-5) [1pm CBS]
I’m going to have to pick the Ravens.

Packers (10-3) @ Bills (7-6) [1pm FOX]
Sorry Bills, I’m going to have to pick the Packers.

Buccaneers (2-11) @ Panthers (4-8-1) [1pm FOX]
Cam Newton was in a car accident earlier this week in Charlotte, he spent the night in the hospital and will not be playing on Sunday.  I still think that the Panthers will win this game even without Cam.

Jets (2-11) @ Titans (2-11) [4:05pm CBS]
Hey, someone is going to get their 3rd win of the season! I’m picking the Titans.

Broncos (10-3) @ Chargers (8-5)  [4:05pm CBS]
I’m taking the Broncos over the Chargers.
Vikings (6-7) @ Lions (9-4) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m going to take the Lions for the win.

49ers (7-6) @ Seahawks (9-4) [4:25pm FOX]
I’ll be rooting for and picking the Seahawks for the win.

Cowboys (9-4) @ Eagles (9-4) [8:30pm NBC]
I hope this game ends in a tie. I’m not going to say that I’ll be rooting for either of these teams. I’d much rather see the Cowboys win but they couldn’t do that on Thanksgiving. Maybe they’ll get the win this time around. I’m picking the Cowboys for the win.

Monday December 15th

Saints (5-8) @ Bears (5-8) [8:30pm ESPN]
Both teams are an embarrassment to watch this season.  I’m picking the Bears only because they are at home.

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Mom!!!!!
