Regular Season Week 9

My job is killing me. I have missed so much football because I am exhausted after work and have been heading to bed before 9 most nights. I know that the majority of football is played on Sunday but this past week I was most looking forward to the Primetime games. My job is really starting to effect this report too.  I’m thinking about a new career… maybe writing for the NFL? What do you think?
The NY Giants had their bye this past week and it was nice to just watch football and not worry that my team might,… probably…, will lose. This week they don’t play till Monday night so I’ll have another nice stress free weekend. My fantasy team is now 6-2! Woot woot! And, I did all right on my picks this past week: 10-5.
Anyway…
Let’s recap week 8

Chargers @ Broncos 21-35
There was no doubt in my mind that the Broncos would win this game. Peyton added 3 more touchdowns to his record as Denver had their way with San Diego.

Lions @ Falcons 22-21
Yes, I did get up and watch football Sunday morning. Did you? Detroit was down 21 points and came back to win the game on the last play with a Matt Prater field goal. The crazy thing is that he missed his first attempt but a Lion’s penalty allowed him to try again.

Vikings @ Buccaneers 19-13 OT
The Bucs came so close to their first home win but lost it in overtime.

Bills @ Jets 43-23
I was an honorary Bills fan on Sunday, (being that the Giants had a bye), and watched the game with my Bills fans friends. The Jets really knew how to make the Bills look good. And the Bills looked great. After the 3rd interception in the first quarter Geno Smith was benched and Vick was put in for the Jets. The Bills Defense, and my awesome friends, really made this game fun to watch.

Bears @ Patriots 23-51
I heard that the Pats TE is wanted for murder…again... no not Hernandez that was last year…. I mean Gronk KILLED the Bears defense… Too much? Too soon?

Seahawks @ Panthers 13-9
It’s hard to win football games when you can’t get into the endzone…
In other news the Seahawks are killing me in fantasy. I started both Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch and they are NOT getting me enough points! Ahhhhhh.

Dolphins @ Jaguars 27-13
The Jags looked ok in the first half but couldn’t get it done in the second half.  The turnovers didn’t help.

Ravens @ Bengals 24-27
I’m shocked. I really thought that the Bengals were done but the Ginger came through in the end.

Texans @ Titans 30-16
The Texans looked pretty decent …

Rams @ Chiefs 7-34
Not a shocking outcome. Nothing to write home about.

Eagles @ Cardinals 20-24
Thank You Cardinals!!!!!!!! Really, thanks!

Colts @ Steelers 34-51
What the what?!?!? It must have been those hideous uniforms that BLINDED the Colts into not being able to win… dang.

Raiders @ Browns 13-23
Yay Brownies! Poor Raiders…

Packers @ Saints 23-44
Wow. Well, umm shocking?

Redskins @ Cowboys 20-17 OT
HTTR!!!!!! Thanks for helping out the GMEN!

WEEK 9

Thursday October 30th

Saints (3-4) @ Panthers (3-4-1) [8:25pm CBS, NFLN]
This game is for first place in the NFC South (it’s not a strong division) I want to pick the Panthers for the win…. But I’m not sure… I think I’ll pick the Saints instead.

Sunday November 2nd

Buccaneers (1-6) @ Browns (4-3) [1pm FOX]
I’m going with the Browns.

Cardinals (6-1) @ Cowboys (6-2) [1pm FOX]
I dropped the Cardinals defense from my fantasy team but I’m still picking them to win.

Eagles (5-2) @ Texans (4-4) [1pm FOX]
I’d love, love, LOVE to see the Texans win… though I’m picking the Eagles… I hope I’m wrong.

Jets (1-7) @ Chiefs (4-3)  [1pm CBS]
Wow, I can’t believe the Jets are really 1-7…. I’m pretty sure they’ll be 1-8 after this game.

Jaguars (1-7) @ Bengals (4-2-1) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Bengals for the win.

Chargers (5-3) @ Dolphins (4-3) [1pm CBS]
I think I’ll take the Chargers for the win.

Redskins (3-5) @ Vikings (3-5) [1pm FOX]
RG3 will be starting this game, therefore I am picking the Vikings to win.

Rams (2-5) @ 49ers (4-3) [4:05pm FOX]
I’d love to see the Rams upset the 49ers but I’m picking San Francisco for the win.

Broncos (6-1) @ Patriots (6-2) [4:25pm CBS]
I’m going with the Broncos for the win. They did it last year… they can do it again.

Raiders (0-7) @ Seahawks (4-3) [4:25pm CBS]
I’m picking the Seahawks to win this game.

Ravens (5-3) @ Steelers (5-3) [8:30pm NBC]
Man, I hope the Ravens can pull off this win. But I think I’m picking the Steelers…

Monday November 3rd

Colts (5-3) @ NY Giants (3-4) [8:30pm ESPN]
Ah geez. I’m not looking forward to this game … Well, at least the Giants will be refreshed and ready to go. Against better judgment I’m picking the Giants to win. Mostly because I feel like I’m letting them down when I don’t pick them to win. Even though they’ve let me down 4 times this season alone….

TEAMS WITH BYES: Bills, Titans, Bears, Lions, Packers, Falcons

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Mom!!!!!

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 8 '14

The Shenoa Report
October 23, 2014
Regular Season Week 8

The main reason I’m looking forward to week 8 is because my team won’t lose this week. So glad the NY Giants have a bye… at this point, I wish they could have a few. The big news this past week was Peyton Manning broke Brett Favre’s all time career touchdown record. In other news, L.A. really wants a football team again and there seem to be 3 teams with interest, Rams, Raiders, and Chargers. Just sayin, keep it on the radar.   I won by one point in my fantasy team… such a nail biter…I’m now 5-2.
I did all right on my picks this past week: 9-6.
Anyway…
Let’s recap week 7

Jets @ Patriots 25-27
The Jets really should’ve won this game. They out played the Pats in everything from yards to clock management. But don’t worry, Rex Ryan dealt with the loss well… by punching a wall. classy.

Falcons  @ Ravens 7-29
Atlanta just isn’t good… this really isn’t news.

Titans @ Redskins 17-19
The Redskins motto is “When you’re losing, bench your QB” and it works for them! Their 3rd string QB got it done in the second half….

Seahawks @ Rams 26-28
Wow. Just wow. Go Bumblebees!

Browns @ Jaguars 6-24
Jacksonville finally has their first win of the season. The Browns played down to the ability of their opponent…

Bengals @ Colts 0-27
SHUTOUT! First one in six years for the Colts.

Vikings @ Bills 16-17
Talk about a last second win (literally). YAY BILLS! But it was a costly game for the Bills as well. They lost Fred Jackson (who was on my fantasy team damnit!) and C.J. Spiller to injuries.

Dolphins @ Bears 27-14
Bears = epic collapse.

Saints @ Lions 23-24
The Lions are tenacious, didn’t give up, and won the game. Woot woot!

Panthers @ Packers 17-38
It’s games like this that make me dislike where I live because on Sunday’s when the Panther’s are playing it’s the only game on TV… unless you have the Sunday Ticket, which I do not have… this game was horrible. With a score like that it should’ve been a Thursday Night Blowout Football game.

Chiefs @ Chargers 23-20
Holy moly the Chargers finally lose a game… it’s about time. In other news Alex Smith is dreamy.

Cardinals @ Raiders 24-13
The Raiders still haven’t won a game yet this season… so glad I’m not a Raiders fan…

NY Giants @ Cowboys 21-31
What pisses me off the most about this game was we actually had a chance to win. We were playing decent football again… expletive, expletive, expletive, EXPLETIVE!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ….

49ers @ Broncos 17-42
Peyton is amazing. The end. Wait, no there’s more, Peyton Manning broke Brett Favre’s record for most touchdown passes in the NFL (508) and then added 2 more for good measure.  So, now every time you see Peyton Manning throw a touchdown pass you are watching history in the making. EXCITEMENT!

Texans @ Steelers 23-30
I’m going to say the Steelers got lucky. Bah.

WEEK 8

Thursday October 23rd

Chargers (5-2) @ Broncos (5-1) [8:25pm CBS, NFLN]
I predict that Peyton Manning makes history again by breaking his own TD record. I am also picking the Broncos for the win.

Sunday October 26th

Lions (5-2) @ Falcons (2-5) [9:30am FOX]
Yes, you read that right; this game starts at 9:30AM! This will be the 2nd game played in London this season. So this Sunday you can literally watch football ALLLLLLL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m not excited or anything… wait, I am. Oh yes, and I pick the Lions to win.

Vikings (2-5) @ Buccaneers (1-5) [1pm FOX]
The Bucs haven’t won at home yet this season… I think this will be their first home win. Call me crazy.

Bills (4-3) @ Jets (1-6) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Bills, although that pretty much assures a Jet’s win.

Bears (3-4) @ Patriots (5-2)  [1pm FOX]
Rooting for the Bears, picking the Pats.

Seahawks (3-3) @ Panthers (3-3-1) [1pm CBS]
Sorry Panthers fans… I’m going with the Seahawks.

Dolphins (3-3) @ Jaguars (1-6) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Dolphins

Ravens (5-2) @ Bengals (3-2-1) [1pm CBS]
I’m going to have to go with the Ravens.

Texans (3-3) @ Titans (2-5) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Texans, and good news people, my dad said I could marry J.J. Watt as long as I’m still a NY Giants fan!!! I hear wedding bells.

Rams (2-4) @ Chiefs (3-3) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Chiefs for the win.

Eagles (5-1) @ Cardinals (5-1) [4:05pm FOX]
Dear Cardinals, please for the love of all good things, beat Philly…  I’m picking the Cardinals for the win, more so, for wishful thinking.

Colts (5-2) @ Steelers (3-3) [4:25pm CBS]
Picking the Colts for the win!

Raiders (0-6) @ Browns (3-3) [4:25pm CBS]
This is going to be a tough game for the Browns. They can win it but it’ll be tough. Dear Browns, don’t play down to your opponent. Sincerely, last week’s game

Packers (5-2) @ Saints (2-4) [8:30pm NBC]
Going with the Pack.

Monday October 27th

Redskins (2-5) @ Cowboys (6-1) [8:30pm ESPN]
This will be one of the only times that I’ll be rooting for the Redskins. Even though I’m picking the Cowboys for the win.

If you are a NY Giants fan or a 49ers fan don’t worry, your team will not lose this week (Thank the Lord)! They have a BYE.

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 7 '14

The Shenoa Report
October 16, 2014
Regular Season Week 7

This past weekend I was in Nashville Tennessee visiting my very good friend Meg with my very good friend Ash. I didn’t think I’d be watching any football because my friends are not football fans. Meg’s roommate Mike, however, is a very big Packers fan and plays fantasy football so we talked a lot of football. Saturday night we were offered Titans tickets and I put on my best pouty face and guess who was at the game on Sunday?!?! This girl and her two AMAZING friends!!!!! I’d like to think we were the good luck charm that Tennessee needed to bring them their first home win of the season (they hadn’t had one in 9 home games!)
After the Titans game we did some touristy things and then caught the tale end of the Seattle game (which ended horribly in my opinion) and don’t even ask me about the Giants game… Speaking of which, I had Victor Cruz on my fantasy team, so it didn’t do so well this past week. I’m now 4-2.
I did pretty well on my picks again this past week: 13-2.
Anyway…
Let’s recap week 6

 Colts @ Texans 33-28
Those divisional games can be quite exciting and this one did not disappoint. Man oh man is J.J. Watt a beast or what.

Patriots @ Bills 37-22
And that is why I don’t pick against the Pats...

Steelers @ Browns 10-31
Hell of a game Brownies! Woot woot!

Panthers @ Bengals 37-37 OT
Well I wasn’t right in my pick and I wasn’t wrong. Leave it to these two teams to have it end in a tie.

Packers @ Dolphins 27-24
Aaron Rodgers had a little trickery up his sleeve and it got his team the win.

Lions @ Vikings 17-3
So glad I dropped the Steelers defense and picked up the Lion’s defense for fantasy football! They picked off the Vikings QB 3 times! This doesn’t say much for Bridgewater, the Vikings QB…

Jaguars @ Titans 14-16
Did you know that when the Titans win they shoot off fireworks at the end of the game? Yeah, neither did I, and it scared the crap out of me… I jumped, screamed, and clutched my chest. (having heard a gun shot the night prior; you could say I was still a little bit jumpy) But hey, I was thankful to have great friends that humored me enough to take me to the game! I think we were the Titans’ good luck charm because as we were finding our way to our seats the Titans picked off Bortles and after a blocked field goal the Titans won their first home game of the season.

Broncos @ Jets 31-17
Peyton is 3 touchdowns closer to tying Favre’s record for most thrown TD’s in an NFL career.  After this game, 2 more TD’s and he ties it. As for the Jets, well they weren’t as terrible.

Ravens @ Buccaneers 48-17
This game got out of hand quickly… poor Bucs.

Chargers @ Raiders 31-28
It’s good to see the Raiders putting up a fight. So close boys.

Bears @ Falcons 27-13
Chicago fans were happy after this win… Falcons fans are probably used to losing at this point so they just shrug. (I don’t actually know any Falcons fans but if I ever meet one I will hug them, pat their back, and say “There, there” all sympathetic like.)

Cowboys @ Seahawks 30-23
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.  That’s really all I have to say about this game.

Redskins @ Cardinals 20-30
I’m just glad the Redskins are more horrible than my team in the NFC East….

NY Giants @ Eagles 0-27
So that sucked! In so many ways. Really. After Cruz was carted off the field while openly sobbing; I walked out of the room and told my friends I wasn’t coming back in until the game was off. We decided to watch Silver Linings Playbook instead because at least the Giants beat the Eagles in that movie…

49ers @ Rams 31-17
Well the first half was good…

WEEK 7

Thursday October 16th

Jets (1-5) @ Patriots (4-2) [8:25pm CBS, NFLN]
I’m picking the Pats for a blow-out win… that’s what happens on Thursday Night Football.

Sunday October 19th

Falcons (2-4) @ Ravens (4-2) [1pm FOX]
An angry birds game! I’m going with the Ravens for the win.

Titans (2-4) @ Redskins (1-5) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Redskins but will be rooting for the Titans again!

Seahawks (3-2) @ Rams (1-4)  [1pm FOX]
The Seahawks need to bounce back. I’m picking them for the win.

Browns (3-2) @ Jaguars (0-6) [1pm CBS]
The Browns are on a roll and the Jags are good at rolling over. I’m thinking Cleveland has this win.

Bengals (3-1-1) @ Colts (4-2) [1pm CBS]
 I’m picking the Colts!

Vikings (2-4) @ Bills (3-3) [1pm FOX]
The Bills also need to bounce back so I’m going to pick them to win. I’d also like to say that Kyle Orton needs to shave his face… the caterpillar needs to GO!

Dolphins (2-3) @ Bears (3-3) [1pm CBS]
Da Bears are going to win this one …

Saints (2-3) @ Lions (4-2) [1pm FOX]
Going with the Lions for the win.

Panthers (3-2-1) @ Packers (4-2) [1pm FOX]
Sorry Panthers fans… I’m taking the Packers

Chiefs (2-3) @ Chargers (5-1) [4:05pm CBS]
I’m picking the Chargers but I have a feeling that the Chiefs could derail this team.

Cardinals (4-1) @ Raiders (0-5) [4:25pm FOX]
As much as I’d like to pick the Raiders I don’t see them winning this game. I’m picking the Cardinals.

NY Giants (3-3) @ Cowboys (5-1) [4:25pm FOX]
Giants

49ers (4-2) @ Broncos (4-1) [8:30pm NBC]
Will Peyton pass Favre this week in TD passes? Possibly. Either way I’m picking the Broncos for the win.

Monday October 20th

Texans (3-3) @ Steelers (3-3) [8:30pm ESPN]
I’m picking the Texans mainly because I really don’t like the Steelers.

If you are an Eagles fan or a Bucs fan don’t worry, your team will not lose this week! They have a BYE.

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Mom!!!!!

The Shenoa Report Week 6 '14

The Shenoa Report
October 9, 2014
Regular Season Week 6

I can’t believe we are in week six already! The older you get the faster time seems to fly by. This is the first year in a long time that we no longer have any undefeated teams. I think this is a good thing, seems to even the playing field. My fantasy team did well this past week. I’m at the top of my league at 4-1. I did very well on my picks this past week as well: 13-2.
Anyway…
Let’s recap week 5

Vikings @ Packers 10-42
Thursday Night Football should be renamed Blow-out night football. None of these games have been even remotely close.  Packers fans should be happy after this win.

Bears @ Panthers 24-31
Well the Panthers really pulled that one out didn’t they…

Browns @ Titans 29-28
Holy come-back-kids Cleveland!!!!!! What excitement and Johnny Football is still on the bench!

Rams @ Eagles 28-34
Ah man! I thought the Rams were actually going to come back and win… just wait till next week Eagles…

Falcons @ NY Giants 20-30
Well this game didn’t start out well but it ended well. As much as I love Duckworths (my favorite bar/restaurant) I don’t think I can watch the Giants there anymore. Every time I go there to watch them they do horribly. Thankfully I left in the 3rd quarter and watched the rest of the game at home. Our first round draft pick, Odell Beckham finally made is NFL debut and it was a good one for sure.  Our running back Rashad Jennings sprained his knee and will be out for a few weeks.  Eli had two touchdowns and no interceptions. Overall, good game.

Buccaneers @ Saints 31-37 OT
I’m going to say it now… the Saints aren’t good. The Bucs should’ve won this game. The Saints got lucky.

Texans @ Cowboys 17-20
Dangit! The Texans should have won this one…

Bills @ Lions 17-14
Bills win with 4 seconds left. Shocking I know.

Ravens @ Colts 13-20
The Ravens put up a good fight but it was the Colts that finished strong.

 Steelers @ Jaguars 17-9
I really didn’t think that the Jags would win this game, but I did think the Steelers would have beaten them more soudly than they did.

Cardinals @ Broncos 20-41
Peyton Manning has now thrown 503 touchdowns in his career! 2nd of all time baby! He’ll be first by the end of this season.

Chiefs @ 49ers 17-22
This was a good close game. Too bad the 49ers won.

Jets @ Chargers 0-31
When lightning bolts strike the big top the circus is destroyed.

Bengals @ Patriots 17-43
Wow Bengals… really glad I didn’t pick you for the win.

Seahawks @ Redskins 27-17
This was actually a decent game. Maybe if it was played on Thursday night it would have been a blowout.

WEEK 6

Thursday October 9th

Colts (3-2) @ Texans (3-2) [8:25pm CBS, NFLN]
I’m going to have to pick the Colts for the win.

Sunday October 12th

Patriots (3-2) @ Bills (3-2) [1pm FOX]
Man, once again I’m picking the Pats in hopes they lose. Obviously I’ll be cheering for the Bills.

Steelers (3-2) @ Browns (2-2) [1pm CBS]
This will be a rematch of week one. Call me crazy but I’m picking the Browns to win this game.

Panthers (3-2) @ Bengals (3-1)  [1pm FOX]
Oooooh…. I’m thinking the Bengals are going to bounce back from their horrible loss last week. I’m picking the Bengals for the win. Sorry Panthers fans.

Packers (3-2) @ Dolphins (2-2) [1pm FOX]
I’m going with the Packers.

Lions (3-2) @ Vikings (2-3) [1pm FOX]
I’m taking the Lions for the win.

Jaguars (0-5) @ Titans (3-1) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Titans for the win and it just so happens that I’ll actually be in Tennessee this weekend sooooo Go Titans!

Broncos (3-1) @ Jets (1-4) [1pm CBS]
Picking the Broncos for the win…

Ravens (3-2) @ Buccaneers (1-4) [1pm CBS]
Picking the Ravens for the win.

Chargers (4-1) @ Raiders (0-4) [4:05pm CBS]
I’m picking the Chargers but I wouldn’t be surprised if I was wrong… I mean the Raiders can’t lose forever right.

Bears (2-3) @ Falcons (2-3) [4:25pm FOX]
 I’m going with the Bears.

Cowboys (4-1) @ Seahawks (3-1) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m picking the Seahawks for the win.

Redskins (1-4) @ Cardinals (3-1) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m picking the Cardinals for the win, mainly because I’m playing their defense in fantasy.

NY Giants (3-2) @ Eagles (4-1) [8:30pm NBC]
OK. … The Giants are hot right now. And as much as it pains me to say it… so are the Eagles. I am picking the Giants to win this game because they are still considered underdogs. GOOOOOOOO GMEN BEAT THE OPPONENTS SOUNDLY!

Monday October 13th

49ers (3-2) @ Rams (1-3) [8:30pm ESPN]
I’m going with the 49ers

If you are a Chiefs fan or a Saints fan don’t worry, your team will not lose this week! They have a BYE.

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Mom!!!!!

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 5 '14

The Shenoa Report
October 2, 2014
Regular Season Week 5
October is here and that means breast cancer awareness month. We will be seeing a lot of pink in the NFL this month but hopefully they won’t be using the pink flags again. Can we all agree that that was a terrible idea? I also am sporting a pink strip in my hair in support.
I seem to have run out of time this week. I apologize that this report is so sparse. I lost in fantasy this past week and went 8-5 on my picks. We’ve had our first firing of the season. The Raiders have fired their head coach Dennis Allen after losing their first 4 games this season. At least he got to go to London with the team before being canned.

Anyway…
Let’s recap week 4

NY Giants  @ Redskins 45-14
This game was freakin fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! Larry Donnell  really made a name for himself by catching 3 touchdown passes, this is after he benched himself on his own fantasy team!!!!!! Eli looked amazing once again, even though he threw one interception (I still maintain that it was not an interception but a touch down.) He had 4 passing TDs and one “rushing” TD. There are quotes around “rushing” because the guy isn’t fast but still walked it into the end zone.  The Giants defense was also stellar forcing 6 turnovers.  I watched this game with a Redskins fan and decided to leave at halftime to maintain our friendship. I told her that she had the number on her jersey correct just the wrong team. Rachel if you ever want to trade in that RG3 jersey we can get you a real nice Manning #10 wink wink

Packers @ Bears 38-17
Well the Bears had an epic collapse.

Bills @ Texans 17-23
TOUCH DOWN FOR WATT (said like, “ Turn down for what?!” I hope its in your head now too) Seriously J.J. Watt is a beast. The Bills former quarterback Fitzpatrick is now the QB for the Texans and I guess he had a little chip on his shoulder playing his old team.  The Bills have switched their starting QB to Kyle Orton after losing to the Texans. Sorry Bills fans. Truly.

Titans @ Colts 17-41
This game didn’t really surprise me. Side note: if any of you watch “Bones” my dad seems to think that there is a striking resemblance between Dr. Lance Sweets and Andrew Luck.  Do you see it?  Regardless, the Colts dominated the Titans.

Panthers @ Ravens 10-38
Adam Schefter reported that “After four games this season, Steve Smith has as many multi-TD games with Joe Flacco as he had in three years with Cam Newton” Ouch. I was actually impressed with Smith this game because he didn’t taunt or get in anyone’s face after having such an amazing game. He just did his job. Smith had 2 touchdowns against the Panthers which helped the Ravens trounce their opponent.

Lions  @ Jets 24-17
Naturally Lions always win at the circus.

Buccaneers  @ Steelers 27-24
So I thought to myself, man, the Steelers are playing the Bucs! And my defense has a bye this week. I’ll pick up the Steelers D, I mean they are playing the Bucs!!!! Easy win….. Thanks to the Steelers I lost in fantasy football this week. BAHHHHHH

Dolphins @ Raiders 38-14
Ah yes, the first London game of the season… I feel like it would have probably been the same outcome back in the states.

Jaguars @ Chargers 14-33
I kinda wish that the Chargers weren’t so legit, not that I really like the Jags at all.

Eagles @ 49ers 21-26
FINALLY someone beat the Eagles. Thank you 49ers.

Falcons @ Vikings 28-41
The Falcons sure got embarrassed didn’t they?!

Saints @ Cowboys 17-38
For real? This game was just painful to watch. Thanks for nothing New Orleans.

Patriots @ Chiefs 14-41
Holy KC Batman!!!! Kinda wish I had watched this game instead of going to bed.  KC beat up on Brady so much that they took him out of the game and put in their back up QB Jimmy Garoppolo. No high-fives for Tom Terrific this week.

WEEK 5

Thursday October 2nd

Vikings (2-2) @ Packers (2-2) [8:25pm CBS, NFLN]
I’m going to pick the Packers for the win. Should be a good game. Rivalries always are. Maybe Favre will make an appearance. With his walker, with the bell on it, so you know he’s coming.

Sunday October 5th

Bears (2-2) @ Panthers (2-2) [1pm FOX]
Oh man. Both teams need wins. Duh. I’m going to pick the Panthers against better judgment, mainly to appease my roommate.

Browns (1-2) @ Titans (1-3) [1pm CBS]
The Browns are coming off their bye week and should be refreshed and ready to go. I’m picking Cleveland for the win.

Rams (1-2) @ Eagles (3-1)  [1pm FOX]
I’ll be rooting for the Bumblebees but picking the dirty birds for the win.

Falcons (2-2) @ NY Giants (2-2) [1pm FOX]
The Giants are looking good and I hope they continue to do so this Sunday. I’m picking them for the win over Atlanta.

Buccaneers (1-3) @ Saints (1-3) [1pm FOX]
I’ve got to pick the Saints at home for the win.

Texans (3-1) @ Cowboys (3-1) [1pm CBS]
Touch down for WATT!? I sure hope so. I am picking a Texans upset! It’s wishful thinking mostly.

Bills (2-2) @ Lions (3-1) [1pm FOX]
Going with the Lions for the win. But I could be wrong.

Ravens (3-1) @ Colts (2-2) [1pm CBS]
Picking the Colts for the win.

 Steelers (2-2) @ Jaguars (0-4) [1pm CBS]
As much as I’d like to see the Jags win I’m picking the Steelers, mainly because I’m playing their defense this week in fantasy. (I didn’t learn from last week.)

Cardinals (3-0) @ Broncos (2-1) [4:05pm FOX]
Picking the Broncos for the win. Both teams are fresh off their bye.

Chiefs (2-2) @ 49ers (2-2) [4:25pm CBS]
Hmmmmmmm should be a good game. I’d like the Chiefs to win but I think I’ll pick the 49ers.

Jets (1-3) @ Chargers (3-1) [4:25pm CBS]
Picking the Chargers for the win.

Bengals (3-0) @ Patriots (2-2) [8:30pm NBC]
Ooooooooooooh I so want to pick the Bengals for the win. But whenever I pick against the Pats they win. So I’m picking the Pats for the win in hopes that they lose.
