Regular Season Week 15

The regular season is almost over and my team is already out of any playoff hopes so I suppose now I can kinda sorta be a little bit less bias. We’ll see how that goes. What did we learn in week 14? Football in the snow makes full-grown men become kids again. I saw snowballs, snow angels, and all sorts of hilarity on and off the field. It also reminded me of watching football with my dad as a kid. You see, we didn’t have cable tv, only an antenna, so there wasn’t any station that came in perfectly, they all looked like they were playing in snow (even on the clearest warmest day). My dad made mention of this when we had our weekly football talk this past Sunday evening. Oh reminiscing.  Anyway, so there were a lot of games played in the snow last weekend.
On another note, I’ve got some pretty awesome news… I’ve been asked to write a continuing article for an online magazine talking about football!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m super stoked! Of course I’ll still be writing the Shenoa Report because I love you all and I love to write about football.
Before we move into week 15 Let’s recap week 14. I went 10-6 again this past week on picks.

Texans @ Jaguars 20-27
After this game, the Texans head coach was fired, as he should be. Houston is pretty much the laughing stock of the NFL … well except for the Redskins.  PS the Jaguars, who are 4-9, have the longest winning streak in the AFC right now.

Vikings @ Ravens 26-29
The snow put a damper on this game until the 4th quarter in which 42 points were scored!!!!!! Insane. In other news Adrian Peterson left the game with an ankle injury.

Falcons @ Packers 21-22
Matt Flynn saves the day for the Packers. That was a weird sentence to type.

Lions @ Eagles 20-34
This game was great until the 4th quarter… stupid Eagles.

Colts @ Bengals 28-42
Clearly the Ginger has hit his stride… it’s about time if you ask me.

Raiders @ Jets 27-37
I can’t even begin to figure out the Jets…  congrats to not losing 4 in a row?

Browns @ Patriots 26-27
I am a firm believer in one play doesn’t make or break a game but seriously! THAT WAS NOT PASS INTERFERENCE ON THE BROWNS FOR THE GO AHEAD TOUCHDOWN IN THE FINAL MINUTE OF THE GAME. There I said it. Oh, have I mentioned that I HATE the Patriots.  AND the Browns were robbed.

Chiefs @ Redskins 45-10
The Redskins did a REALLY good job of making the Chiefs look unbelievably stellar.  Oh yes this was yet another snow globe game.

Bills @ Buccaneers 6-27
With the Bills QB throwing 4 interceptions and no touchdowns it’s no wonder they lost.  And the cannons went BAH BOOM! BAH BOOM! BAH BOOM!

Dolphins @ Steelers 34-28
Well the ending of this game was epic. Trickery on the last play with one second left and a pass by Big Ben and then 5 laterals and then a run into the end zone for what would have been a game wining touchdown only the guy stepped out of bounds at the 13 yard line.  Miami was ahead of “Yourami”  at the end of this game.

Titans @ Broncos 28-51
Peyton shut up the critics who said he couldn’t play in the cold on Sunday when he threw 4 touchdown passes in 14 degree weather.  Denver’s kicker, Matt Prater, set the NFL record of longest field goal at 64 yards. It was a good day for the Broncos… not so much for the Titans.

Rams @ Cardinals 10-30
Poor bumblebees.

Seahawks @ 49ers 17-19
Disappointed that the Seahawks didn’t win this game, but then again there were a lot of games that didn’t end the way I would have liked this past Sunday.

Giants @ Chargers 14-37
No words… I actually shut off the game for the first time this season. Tired of watching my team lose.

Panthers @ Saints 13-31
Totally saw this one coming. The Panthers needed to get knocked down a peg… I think it’ll make them a better team. They were getting a little too arrogant if you ask me.

Cowboys @ Bears 28-45
DA BEARS, DA BEARS, DA BEARS, DA BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WEEK 15
Thursday December 12th

Chargers (6-7) @ Broncos (11-2) [8:25pm NFLN]
I’m taking Peyton Manning and the Broncos!

Sunday December 15th

Redskins (3-10) @ Falcons (3-10) [1pm FOX]
I’m taking the Falcons.

49ers (9-4) @ Buccaneers (4-9) [1pm FOX]
I’d LOVE to see the Bucs win but I’m going to have to pick the 9ers.

Seahawks (11-2) @ Giants (5-8) [1pm FOX]
I still love you Gmen but I’m picking the Seahawks….  PS I need you to get all your losing out this season cause I can’t take this again next season.

Eagles (8-5) @ Vikings (3-9) [1pm FOX]
I’m going to have to pick the Eagles because with AP out I don’t think that the Vikings have a chance at winning for the rest of the season… unless they play the Redskins or the Texans…

Bills (4-9) @ Jaguars (4-9) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Jags at home!

Patriots (9-3) @ Dolphins (7-6)  [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Dolphins against better judgment… with Gronk out I don’t think the Pats can win.

Texans (2-11) @ Colts (8-5) [1pm CBS]
Going with the Colts.

Bears (7-6) @ Browns (4-9) [1pm FOX]
Picking the Bears.

Chiefs (10-3) @ Raiders (4-9) [4:05pm CBS]
I’m taking the Chiefs.

Jets (6-7) @ Panthers (9-4) [4:05pm CBS]
The Panthers will bounce back for the win.

Packers (6-6-1) @ Cowboys (7-6) [4:25pm FOX]
Picking the Cowboys but not happy about it.

Cardinals (8-5) @ Titans (5-8) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m going to pick the Titans.

Saints (10-3) @ Rams (5-8) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m taking the Saints.

Bengals (9-4) @ Steelers (5-8) [8:30pm NBC]
 I’m going with the Bengals.

Monday December 16th

Ravens (7-6) @ Lions (7-6) [8:40pm ESPN]
 I’m taking the Lions.

There are NO BYEs this week.

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the edit Mom!!!!!!!
