Regular Season Week 15

It’s really sad to think that the season is almost over. Just a few more weeks and then what? Let us all embrace football now when we can. I didn’t get my report out in time for the Thursday night game and once again I hope you understand. I started writing this Friday at naptime in my classroom and the little boy sleeping next to me was wearing a #17 Jake Delhomme Panthers jersey and I thought, hey why not start the Shenoa report right now since I don’t seem to have a lot of extra time these days.
Now its super close to game time Sunday afternoon and I am in Cleveland on my Northeast Christmas Tour. OK lets take a look at the craziness that ensued last week.

Indianapolis @ Tennessee 30-28
The score makes it look like it was a close game but in my opinion there was no way the Titans we going to win this game. The Colts were just gentlemen at the end of the game letting Tennessee score. Peyton finally looked really great throwing 2 TD and NO interceptions! YES!!!! I think my boys are finally back on track and I am pretty sure we’ll make the playoffs this season.

Cleveland @ Buffalo 6-13
See how I did that reverse psychology? I picked Cleveland to win so that Buffalo would actually win and it worked.  Right now these guys are playing just to play. They have no hope at the playoffs but it was a pretty decent game if you were able to catch it.

Atlanta @ Carolina 31-10
Every weekend I am forced to watch Carolina and every weekend they lose. … at least they are consistent.

Green Bay @ Detroit 3-7
WHAT!?!?!?!?! Green Bay is in serious trouble. Detroit seems to be the upsetter this year.

Oakland @Jacksonville 31-38
Oakland had this game! But they let it slip away at the end. Man I wish that the Raiders would have won…

Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh 7-23
The Bengals lost. Shocker.

Tampa Bay @ Washington 17-16
Washington had this game going into OT until they missed the extra point and gave the win to the Bucs

Saint Louis @ New Orleans 13-31
The Saints dominated the Rams.

Seattle @ San Francisco 21-40
Holy Moley! I think the 49ers surprised everyone last week.  It didn’t help that Hasselbeck threw 4 interceptions and lost a fumble.  And with this win San Francisco moved within a game of their division leaders 6-7 Seattle and St. Louis.  Can I just say that if you are 5-9 you shouldn’t be even close to upsetting a division. The NFC West is horrible!

Denver @ Arizona 13-43
The Broncos have gone from bad to worse. They had six turnovers it wasn’t a pretty game. And the interim coach didn’t follow in the steps of the other two interim coachs in the league.

New England @ Chicago 36-7
The snow bowl in Chicago was so one sided that the network airing the game actually switched to another game  (which I was so thankful for).  It was an embarrassing game to watch. The Bears looked more like a pee wee football team.

Miami @ New York Jets 10-6
Wow the Jets are in a slump. Sometimes its fun to state the obvious. They need to snap out of it like fast!

Kansas City @ San Diego 0-31
The Chargers dominated KC and I have a feeling the Chiefs aren’t going to be able to hold on to the top of their division.

Philadelphia @ Dallas 30-27
Kinda mad that this game didn’t end in a tie or a Dallas win. Arg.

New York Giants @ Minneapolis 21-3
The New York Football Giants are one classy team. In the situation they were in they didn’t complain, they didn’t make excuses, they remained the standup guys they are. As you all know they were supposed to play Sunday at 1pm in Minneapolis but there was a ridiculous blizzard and their flight was redirected to KC Saturday and the team had to spend the night there. Then early Sunday morning the Metrodome’s roof collapsed due to all the snow and the game couldn’t be played there. It was then switched to be played in Detroit Monday night. In spite of being bounced around the team was able to form a deeper bond, which was made evident on the field Monday night. The Giants had a fantastic game despite a slow start. The defense only allowed 3 points. It was an amazing game. And that’s how the press should have covered it. But stupid Brett Favre once again stole the spot light by not even playing the game.  I can’t wait for him to be gone for good.

Baltimore @ Houston 34-28 OT
The Ravens pulled out a close one in overtime after giving up 21 points in the second half.  The defense allowed 3 Schaub touchdowns but also scored the game winning touchdown.

WEEK 15

San Francisco @ San Diego 7-34
Despite the 49ers upset last week they weren’t a challenge for San Diego Thursday night. I would have picked the Chargers to win anyway. San Diego is 8-6 and San Francisco is 5-9

New Orleans @ Baltimore
This should be a good game. I’m taking Baltimore at home.  New Orleans is 10-3 and 2nd in the NFC South. Baltimore is 2nd in the AFC North at 9-4

Arizona @ Carolina
Will Carolina get there second win of the season? Probably not. At least I won’t be forced to watch this game being that I am visiting my bestest friend in Cleveland.  Both teams are at the bottom of their divisions. Arizona is 4-9 and Carolina is 1-12

Cleveland @ Cincinnati
This will be the only 1pm game I’ll be able to watch being that I am in Cleveland this weekend. I hope the Browns can upset the Bengals.  Go Browns. Cleveland is 5-8 and the Bengals are at the bottom of the AFC North at 2-11

Washington @ Dallas
I don’t know how the Redskins are going to win without McNabb but I hope they do. It’s absurd that he’s been benched.  Washington is 5-8 and Dallas is 4-9 and at the bottom of the NFC East

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis
Indy seems to be back in action. And this game should decide the top of the AFC South.  It should be a good game and I am taking the Colts to win it of course.
Jacksonville is 8-5 and the Colts are 7-6

Buffalo @ Miami
Miami will most likely win but I’d like to see another Buffalo upset.

Philadelphia @ New York Giants
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TAKE BACK THE TOP OF THE NFC EAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kansas City @ Saint Louis
I’d like to see Saint Louis win this one. It’s 12:43 Sunday afternoon and my report isn’t done… eeeek.

Detroit @ Tampa Bay
I’m going to pick Tampa Bay

Houston @ Tennessee
I hope that Tennessee takes this game.

Atlanta @ Seattle
I’m pretty sure Atlanta will win this one.

Denver @ Oakland
Timmy gets to start for the Broncos today! Oakland please be kind and let him win. Thanks

New York Jets @ Pittsburgh
Hey Jets lets bounce back and take it out on the Steelers. Polamalu is out so that’s like an early Christmas present.

Green Bay @ New England
Of course I WANT Green Bay to win this one but I am not holding my breath. The Pats are on a roll… I hate this.

Chicago @ Minnesota
Well they won’t be playing at the Metrodome and the Vikings are starting rookie QB Webb. I think Chicago is going to win this one.

Sorry for the choppiness it hasn’t been edited.
GO GIANTS AND GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
