The Shenoa Report

Regular Season Week 16

This will be the first post season without Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Patrick Mahomes since 1998. Yo. Refreshing if you ask me.

Guys, for maybe the second time this season I won in both fantasy leagues. Hooray, I can’t come in last place in either league! In the other league I’ve advanced to the semifinals. Wish me luck.  CMC Ya Next Season 8-6, Cursed 6-8

I went 10-6 in picks.

Let’s jump into the recap!

Falcons @ Buccaneers 29-28

The Falcons stunned the Buccaneers, rallying from a 14 point 4th quarter deficit behind Kirk Cousins’ three touchdown passes to Kyle Pitts and Zane Gonzalez’s walk off 43 yard field goal. The loss dropped the Bucs to 7‑7, knocking them out of first place in the NFC South and tightening the playoff race, while Atlanta improved to 5‑9 despite already being eliminated.

Fun fact: the Falcons committed a franchise‑record 19 penalties yet still pulled off the comeback.

Bills @ Patriots 35-31

Holy Buffalo Batman! The Bills rallied from a 21‑0 deficit to stun the Patriots, keeping the AFC East race alive. The win moved Buffalo to 10‑4, just one game behind the 11‑3 Patriots, delaying New England’s chance to clinch the division and tightening playoff seeding.

Fun fact: this was Buffalo’s largest road comeback in franchise history, tying their biggest overall comeback against New England back in 2011.

Ravens @ Bengals 24-0

The Ravens shutout the Bengals, with Lamar Jackson throwing two touchdowns and the defense sealing it with a 95 yard pick six. The win snapped Baltimore’s two game losing streak and kept them in the AFC North hunt at 7‑7, while Cincinnati fell to 4‑10 and saw their playoff hopes effectively end.

Fun fact: it was the coldest game at Paycor Stadium in 25 years, and the first time Joe Burrow has ever been shut out in his career.

Jets @ Jaguars 20-48

The Jaguars crushed the Jets, with Trevor Lawrence throwing a career high five touchdown passes and adding another on the ground. The win pushed Jacksonville to 10‑4, strengthening their hold on first place in the AFC South and playoff positioning, while the Jets fell to 3‑11 and were officially eliminated.

Fun fact: Lawrence’s six total touchdowns marked the most ever by a Jaguars quarterback in a single game.

Chargers @ Chiefs 16-13

The Chargers edged the Chiefs, with Derwin James sealing the win by intercepting Gardner Minshew after Patrick Mahomes left with a torn ACL. The victory improved Los Angeles to 10–4, keeping them firmly in the AFC playoff picture, while Kansas City fell to 6–8 and was eliminated from postseason contention.

Fun fact: rookie KeAndre Lambert‑Smith scored his very first NFL touchdown in the game, a 16‑yard catch just before halftime.

Cardinals @ Texans 20-40

The Texans dominated the Cardinals, with C.J. Stroud throwing for 260 yards and three touchdowns to extend Houston’s winning streak to six games. The victory improved the Texans to 9–5, keeping them one game behind the Jaguars in the AFC South and firmly in the wild‑card race, while Arizona fell to 3–11 and was eliminated from playoff contention.

Fun fact: Cardinals tight end Trey McBride set an NFL record with his 16th straight game of at least five catches, finishing with 12 receptions for 134 yards and two TDs.

Browns @ Bears 3-31

The Bears crushed the Browns, with Caleb Williams throwing two touchdowns to DJ Moore and D’Andre Swift adding two rushing TDs. The win lifted Chicago to 10–4, moving them into first place in the NFC North and giving them the No. 2 seed in the NFC, while Cleveland dropped to 3–11 and was eliminated from playoff contention.

Fun fact: this was one of the coldest games ever at Soldier Field, with a kickoff temperature of just 8 degrees.

Commanders @ NY Giants 29-21

Commanders fans, you’re welcome. We helped you snap an 8 game losing streak! We really are the nicest team, always putting the other team first, making sure they get enough points to win the game. Believe it or not, this win is keeping slim playoff hopes mathematically alive for the Commanders. The Giants were the first team to be eliminated from playoff hopes this season, weeks ago. Old news. Now, we are that much closer to securing the top draft pick.

Fun fact: rookie linebacker Abdul Carter had a breakout game for the Giants, forcing two fumbles and recording 3.5 tackles for loss despite the defeat.

Raiders @ Eagles 0-31

The Eagles snapped a three game losing streak with a shutout of the Raiders, as Jalen Hurts threw three touchdown passes and the defense held Las Vegas to just 75 total yards. The win improved Philadelphia to 9‑5, keeping them in the thick of the NFC playoff race, while the Raiders dropped to 2‑12 and were officially eliminated.

Fun fact: this was the second time this season the Raiders were shut out 31‑0 on the road, the exact same score they lost to the Chiefs earlier in the year.

Colts @ Seahawks 16-18

The Seahawks edged the Colts, winning on Jason Myers’ franchise record sixth field goal, a 56 yarder with 29 seconds left. The victory improved Seattle to 11‑3, keeping them tied with the Rams atop the NFC West and firmly in the playoff race, while Indianapolis fell to 8‑6 and dropped out of AFC South contention.

Fun fact: Philip Rivers, at 44 years old, returned to the NFL after nearly five years away, throwing his first touchdown since the 2021 playoffs.

Packers @ Broncos 26-34

The Broncos rallied past the Packers, with Bo Nix throwing four touchdown passes and Pat Surtain II’s interception sparking the comeback. The win clinched Denver’s playoff berth and solidified their hold on the AFC’s No. 1 seed at 12–2, while Green Bay fell to 9‑4‑1 and slipped in the NFC playoff race.

Fun fact: Josh Jacobs ripped off a 40‑yard touchdown run for the Packers, his longest score of the season.

Titans @ 49ers 24-37

The 49ers beat the Titans, with Brock Purdy throwing three touchdown passes and San Francisco scoring on its first five possessions. The win improved the 49ers to 10–4, tightening their grip on NFC playoff positioning, while Tennessee fell to 2–12 and was eliminated from postseason contention.

Fun fact: Jeffery Simmons, a defensive lineman for the Titans, caught his second career touchdown pass in the game.

Panthers @ Saints 17-20

The Saints stunned the Panthers, winning on Charlie Smyth’s 47 yard field goal with two seconds left. The loss dropped Carolina to 7‑7, tying them with Tampa Bay in the NFC South and complicating their playoff path, while New Orleans improved to 4‑10 and played spoiler for the second straight week.

Fun fact: Smyth, a rookie kicker from Northern Ireland, nailed the game‑winner in just his third NFL appearance.

Lions @ Rams 34-41

The Rams outlasted the Lions, clinching a playoff berth behind Matthew Stafford’s 368 passing yards and two touchdowns. The loss dropped Detroit to 8–6, leaving them outside the NFC playoff picture and likely needing to win out to stay alive.

Fun fact: Rams running back Kyren Williams surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the third straight season, joining Eric Dickerson and Marshall Faulk as the only backs in franchise history to do so.

Vikings @ Cowboys 34-26

The Vikings upset the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, with QB J.J. McCarthy throwing two touchdowns and rushing for another. The win gave Minnesota back‑to‑back victories despite being eliminated earlier in the day, while Dallas fell to 6‑7‑1, putting their playoff hopes on the brink.

Fun fact: fullback C.J. Ham scored the go ahead touchdown on his very first carry of the season.

Dolphins @ Steelers 15-28

The Steelers defeated the Dolphins, with Aaron Rodgers throwing two second‑half touchdowns to spark four straight scoring drives. The win moved Pittsburgh to 8–6, keeping them atop the AFC North playoff race, while Miami fell to 6–8 and was officially eliminated from postseason contention.

Fun fact: Rodgers completed 23 of 27 passes for a passer rating of 125.9, his best since Week 1.

WEEK 16

Thursday, December 18th

Rams (11-3) @ Seahawks (11-3) (8:15pm PRIME VIDEO)

This is a divisional matchup with both teams at 11‑3, where the winner will take sole possession of first place and be in prime position for the NFC’s No. 1 seed.  The Rams won the first matchup in Week 11 and have historically had success against the Seahawks.  I’ve got a ton of fantasy implications in this game and it will most likely sway my pick. I am going to pick the Rams to win this game because I need points.

Saturday, December 20th

Eagles (9-5) @ Commanders (4-10) (5pm FOX)

The Commanders have already been eliminated from the playoffs and would LOVE to spoil the day for the Eagles. I am usually allllll on board for this kind of spoiler BUT I am in the Championship Semi Finals in fantasy and I need Hurts to have another spectacular game. I NEED POINTS!  I’m picking the Eagles to win this game.

Packers (9-4-1) @ Bears (10-4) (8:20pm FOX)

Ok, so the winner of this game will take control of the NFC North and will clinch a playoff berth. The loser of this game is still alive, but risks slipping into the wild‑card race. Fantasy playoffs, I need points. Blah blah blah. I think the Bears will win this game. I just need it to be high scoring because I have a lot of Packers in fantasy. I’m picking the Bears for the win.

Sunday, December 21st

Jets (3-11) @ Saints (4-10) (1pm CBS)

Both teams have already been eliminated from the playoffs so they are just playing for pride, and hopefully no injuries. I’ve got Chris Olave and Jwan Johnson so I need the Saints to have a good game, it’s just a bummer my opponent is starting Tyler Shough. I need Shough to throw to Olave and Johnson, without scoring enough points to beat me. Regardless, I'm picking the Saints to win this game.

Bills (10-4) @ Browns (3-11) (1pm CBS)

The Bills can clinch a playoff berth with a win combined with losses by either the Colts or the Texans. The Browns have already been eliminated from postseason contention. I’m picking the Bills to win this game. GO BILLS!

Chiefs (6-8) @ Titans  (2-11) (1pm CBS)

This is most fun to say. The Chiefs have been eliminated from the playoffs. Neither team will be in the post season so this game is just for fun. I’m picking the Chiefs to win but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Titans got their 3rd win of the season.

Chargers (10-4) @ Cowboys (6-7-1) (1pm FOX)

Technically the Cowboys haven’t been eliminated from the playoffs. But their chances are very slim. First they would have to win out the rest of the season. Not likely. Then they also need the Eagles to lose at least 2 of their last 3 games. Also, not likely. That said, I am picking the Chargers to win this game and get a playoff berth.

Vikings (6-8) @ NY Giants  (2-12) (1pm FOX)

Both teams have been eliminated from playoff contention so this game is just a game. I am expecting the Giants will try to win this game but fail to do so. Or maybe they will win and screw up their number one draft pick. I will be rooting for the Giants but picking the Vikings to win this game. Go G-Men!

Buccaneers (7-7) @ Panthers (7-7) (1pm FOX)

This game has first place in the NFC South on the line. Both teams are 7‑7, and the winner will take control of the division heading into the final two weeks. Both teams lost last week, embarrassingly so. I am picking the Bucs to win with no good reason.

Bengals (4-10) @ Dolphins (6-8) (1pm CBS)

Both teams have already been eliminated so it’s just a game of pride. The big news for the Dolphins is that they have benched Tua. Rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers will start for the Miami Dolphins. I’m picking the Bengals to win this game.

Jaguars (10-4) @ Broncos (12-2) (4:05pm FOX)

Both teams are firmly in the playoff race. Denver can clinch the AFC West and potentially the No. 1 seed with a win, while Jacksonville is fighting to stay atop the AFC South. I’m picking the Broncos to win this game.

Falcons (5-9) @ Cardinals (3-11) (4:05pm FOX)

Both teams were never in the playoff contention so this game is just a game. I’m picking the Falcons to win this game but wouldn’t be surprised if the Cardinals got their 4th win of the season.

Raiders (2-12) @ Texans (9-5) (4:25pm CBS)

The Raiders have already been eliminated from playoff contention.  A Texans win keeps them in contention for the AFC South title against Jacksonville and also strengthens their wild‑card fallback if they don’t win the division. I’m picking the Texans to win this game.

Steelers (8-6) @ Lions (8-6) (4:25pm CBS)

Both teams are 8‑6, so the game carries major playoff implications. Detroit needs a win to stay alive in the NFC race, while Pittsburgh is trying to hold onto first place in the AFC North. I am rooting for and picking the Lions to win this game and keep their playoff hopes alive!

Patriots (11-3) @ Ravens (7-7)  (8:20pm NBC/Peacock)

The Patriots can clinch a playoff berth with a win. The Ravens must win to stay in contention for the AFC North and a wild‑card spot. The Patriots are undefeated on the road this season. I think it will continue. I am picking the Patriots to upset the Ravens at home.

Monday, December 22nd

49ers (10-4) @ Colts (8-6) (8:15pm ABC/ESPN)

Both teams are in the playoff race.  The 49ers can strengthen their NFC seeding with a win, while the Colts need a victory to stay alive in the AFC wild‑card hunt. That said, I’m picking the 49ers to win this game. My fantasy outcome hinges on this game. I’ve got CMC and my opponent has Jonathon Taylor. To say I'm nervous doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel. I just want to win.

GO G-MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the edit Eric!

The Shenoa Report Week 15 '25 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
December 11, 2025
Regular Season Week 15

Week 15 brings no more bye weeks, Fantasy Football Playoffs, and MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!  I’m most excited about the last one. I like birthdays. I don’t know why, but if you have one, I want to celebrate it! As for the Fantasy Playoffs, I’m way more nervous. Current ranking (5th) CMC Ya Next Season 7-6, (8th) Cursed 5-8. I made it through round one of the consolation bracket in one league, which means, I can’t come in last place. Woot! Sigh. In the other league I’m in the quarter finals. After losing last week I fell to the 5th seed and am playing the 4th seed. I’m really hoping one of my birthday gifts is wins this week for all my teams, 2 fantasy and the Giants and Bills. I know it’s a tall ask but it's a semi milestone birthday.

I went 8-6 in picks. Not my best week, indeed.

Let’s jump into the recap!

Cowboys @ Lions 30-44

The Lions embarrassed the Cowboys with Jahmyr Gibbs leading the way. Gibbs had three rushing touchdowns while the Lions defense forced three turnovers. The Cowboys relied heavily on Brandon Aubrey’s long field goals but struggled to convert drives into touchdowns.

Fun fact: Gibbs’ 47 career touchdowns now tie Hall of Famer Barry Sanders for the most by a player in his first three NFL seasons.

Dolphins @ Jets  34-10

The Dolphins dominated the Jets 34–10 starting with a 21-point first quarter and a defense that racked up six sacks and three interceptions. Tua Tagovailoa threw a touchdown pass and remained undefeated against the Jets, while De’Von Achane added 92 rushing yards and a TD before leaving with a rib injury. The Jets lost QB Tyrod Taylor early and never recovered.

Fun fact: Tagovailoa is now 7–0 as a starter against the Jets, making them his most consistent AFC East victim.

Steelers @ Ravens 27-22

The Steelers edged the Ravens seizing sole possession of first place in the AFC North. Aaron Rodgers threw for 284 yards with both a passing and rushing touchdown, while a late Lamar Jackson TD pass to Isaiah Likely was overturned on review, ending Baltimore’s comeback hopes.

Fun fact: This is Mike Tomlin’s 19th season as Steelers head coach, making him the longest-tenured active coach in the NFL.

Saints @ Buccaneers 24-20

The Saints upset the Buccaneers led by rookie QB Tyler Shough’s two rushing touchdowns in a rain-soaked game at Raymond James Stadium. The Saints defense frustrated Baker Mayfield and held Tampa Bay to just 104 rushing yards, while Shough’s 13-yard scramble in the fourth quarter sealed the win. The victory snapped New Orleans two-game skid and dropped the Bucs into a tie for first in the NFC South with Carolina.

Fun fact: Shough became the first Saints rookie quarterback since Archie Manning in 1971 to record multiple rushing touchdowns in a single game.

Colts @ Jaguars 19-36

The Jags defeated the Colts led by Trevor Lawrence’s two touchdown passes and Travis Etienne’s two rushing scores in rainy conditions. The Colts lost quarterback Daniel Jones to an Achilles injury early, with rookie Riley Leonard taking his place.  Jacksonville’s defense added a safety and three turnovers. It was an ugly game for Colts fans.

Fun fact: The Colts haven’t won in Jacksonville since 2014, making this their longest active road losing streak against a single opponent.

Titans  @ Browns 31-29

The Titans snapped a seven game losing streak with this win over the Browns. Titans RB Tony Pollard had a career-high 161 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Rookie QB Shedeur Sanders kept the Browns close with 364 passing yards and four total touchdowns, but Cleveland failed on two late two-point conversions. The Titans capitalized on turnovers and a blocked punt to secure just their second victory of the season, while the Browns dropped to 3–10.

Fun fact: This was the Titans first win in Cleveland since 2011, ending a 14-year drought.

Commanders @ Vikings 0-31

The Vikings shut out the Commanders ending a four game losing streak. QB J.J. McCarthy threw three touchdown passes in his first turnover-free game, while Washington’s offense faltered and lost both Jayden Daniels to an elbow injury and TE Zach Ertz to a season-ending ACL injury.

Fun fact: McCarthy became the first Vikings quarterback age 22 or younger to throw three touchdowns in a game since 1977.

Seahawks @ Falcons 37-9

The Seahawks crushed the Falcons breaking open a 6–6 halftime tie with a dominant second half. Rashid Shaheed’s electrifying 100 yard kickoff return touchdown sparked the surge, while Sam Darnold threw three touchdown passes, including two to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The Seahawks improved to 10–3 and strengthened their NFC playoff position, while the Falcons fell to 4–9 and were eliminated from postseason contention.

Fun fact: Shaheed’s 100 yard return was the first kickoff touchdown for Seattle since 2017, ending an eight-year drought.

Bengals @ Bills 34-39

The Bills rallied to beat the Bengals overcoming a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Josh Allen accounted for four total touchdowns, while Christian Benford’s 63 yard pick six flipped the momentum and gave Buffalo its first lead. Joe Burrow threw four touchdowns but two late interceptions doomed Cincinnati.

Fun fact: Josh Allen became the first Bills quarterback in franchise history to record both a passing and rushing touchdown in five consecutive games.

Broncos @ Raiders 24-17

The Broncos are now on a 10 game winning streak. Bo Nix threw for 212 yards and rushed for a touchdown, while Marvin Mims added a punt return TD as Denver controlled the game despite the close final score. Raiders QB Geno Smith exited in the third quarter with a hand and shoulder injury, and the Broncos improved to 11–2, strengthening their hold on the AFC’s top seed.

Fun fact: This was the first time all season the Broncos never trailed in a game, a rare wire-to-wire win during their streak.

Bears @ Packers 21-28

The Packers defeated the Bears moving into first place in the NFC North. Jordan Love threw three touchdown passes, including two to Christian Watson, while Keisean Nixon sealed the win with a clutch endzone interception of Caleb Williams in the final seconds. The Bears rallied to tie the game late but fell short, dropping to 9–4 as the Packers improved to 9–3–1.

Fun fact: Nixon’s interception was his first of the season, and it came on the Bears last offensive play, preserving Green Bay’s fourth straight win.

Rams @ Cardinals 45-17

The Rams crushed the Cardinals, piling up 530 total yards and scoring 35 unanswered points. Matthew Stafford threw for 281 yards and three touchdowns, while Puka Nacua had 167 receiving yards and two TDs, and rookie Blake Corum rushed for a career-high 128 yards with another two TDs. The Cardinals managed early points but faltered after halftime.

Fun fact: Puka Nacua recorded his first career multi-touchdown game, finishing just three yards shy of his career-high in receiving yards.

Texans @ Chiefs 20-10

The Texans stunned the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, leaning on their top ranked defense to intercept Patrick Mahomes three times. C.J. Stroud threw for 203 yards and a touchdown, while Dare Ogunbowale’s fourth quarter rushing TD sealed Houston’s fifth straight win.

Fun fact: This was the first time Mahomes has ever thrown three interceptions in a home game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Eagles @ Chargers 19-22 OT

The Chargers edged the Eagles in overtime on MNF, thanks to Cameron Dicker’s 54 yard game winning field goal. Justin Herbert led a late drive to tie the game in regulation, while safety Tony Jefferson sealed the win with an interception of Jalen Hurts at the 1-yard line. The Eagles dropped their third straight game, falling to 8–5, while the Chargers improved to 9–4 and strengthened their AFC playoff position.

Fun fact: Dicker’s five made field goals in the game tied the Chargers single-game record.

Bonus Fun fact: Jalen Hurts became the first NFL player on record to commit two turnovers on the same play. Here’s what happened: Hurts threw an interception to defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand. On the return, Hand fumbled, and Hurts recovered the ball — only to fumble it again when hit, giving possession back to the Chargers.

Because fantasy football typically scores interceptions and lost fumbles as –2 points each, Hurts’ bizarre sequence resulted in –4 points on a single play, which analysts have called one of the worst fantasy plays in history.

So not only did Hurts make unwanted history in real football, but he also set a quirky record in the fantasy world — a rare double negative that fans won’t forget anytime soon. I’m that fan. I started Hurts and lost by 5 points. It’s ALLLLLLL his fault.

WEEK 15

Thursday, December 11th

Falcons (4-9) @ Buccaneers (7-6) (8:15pm PRIME VIDEO)

I think the Bucs will beat the Falcons and that’s what I’m going with.

Saturday, December 13th

Happy birthday to Shenoa!!!!!!! It's my birthday! Wooot wooooot!

Sunday, December 14th

Bills (9-4) @ Patriots (11-2) (1pm CBS)

I am already so nervous for this game. I don’t have a good feeling about it. Hopefully I’m wrong. It’s just that the Bills haven’t looked like themselves this season and the Patriots are looking scary good for a recent change. I’ll be rooting for the Bills and hoping for an upset but I am going to pick the home team to win this game. I just hope I’m wrong. Go Bills!

Ravens (6-7) @ Bengals (4-9) (1pm CBS)

The Ravens are favored but the Bengals just beat them two weeks ago on Thanksgiving. I tend to go with the home team in picks. So, I’m picking the Bengals to win this game.

Jets (3-10) @ Jaguars (9-4) (1pm CBS)

I’m picking the Jags to win this game and not because they are the home team. I’d still pick them to win even if they were playing at Metlife.

Chargers  (9-4) @ Chiefs (6-7) (1pm CBS)

Well, this is the first time in a really long time that the Chiefs have a losing record in December and are on the verge of missing the playoffs. They really need this win to keep their playoff hopes alive. I am going to pick the Chiefs to win this game but I will be rooting for the Chargers and hoping they can hand them the upset.

Cardinals (3-10) @ Texans  (8-5) (1pm FOX)

I think it’s a pretty safe bet to pick the Texans to win this game and that’s what I’m going to do.

Browns (3-10) @ Bears (9-4) (1pm FOX)

I’m picking Da Bears to get Da W.

Commanders (3-10) @ NY Giants  (2-11) (1pm FOX)

Sigh. It was really nice last week not seeing a Giants loss. If the season were to end today the Giants would have the first pick in the draft. Also, the Giants are actually favored to win this game. Also, also the Giants fired assistant defensive line coach Bryan Cox last week during their bye. So, my pick. Ummmm. I want to pick them to win this game, but I can’t. It hurts too much. How will they mess up this time? Or, did they fire all the people making the bad calls? I’m picking the Giants to lose. I so hope I’m wrong. GO G-MEN!

Raiders (2-11) @ Eagles (8-5) (1pm FOX)

How fun would it be if the Raiders beat the Eagles. Hilarious. I’m picking the Eagles to win this game, and for the love of all the football gods, Jaylen Hurts better have the best game of his life, no more of these -4 point plays!

Colts (8-5) @ Seahawks (10-3) (4:25pm CBS)

The Colts just signed Phillip Rivers to their practice squad. They are REALLY missing Danny Jones now. Jones has a confirmed torn achilles and is out the rest of the season. That said, I am picking the Seahawks to win this game.

Packers (9-3-1) @ Broncos (11-2) (4:25pm CBS)

I just need my Packers players to put up points. I don’t need them to win the game. So, I guess I am picking the Broncos to win this game, I just hope it’s high scoring.

Titans (2-11) @  49ers (9-4) (4:25pm FOX)

Speaking of high scoring, I need CMC and Jennings to have like a million points. I’m picking the 49ers to win this game.

Panthers (7-6)  @ Saints (3-10) (4:25pm FOX)

I’m pretty sure the Panthers are going to give the Saints a headache. I am not picking the home team to win. I am picking the Panthers to win this game.

Lions (8-5) @ Rams (10-3) (4:25pm FOX)

The Lions need this win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Rams have been so dominant this season and I don’t think they are going to let up. I think it’s going to be a high scoring game but I think the Rams get the win.

Vikings (5-8) @ Cowboys (6-6-1)  (8:20pm NBC/Peacock)

I’ll be rooting for the Vikings but picking the Cowboys to win this game.

Monday, December 15th

Dolphins (6-7) @ Steelers (7-6) (8:15pm ABC/ESPN)

I think the Steelers will win this game and that’s who I am going to pick.

BYES: NONE

GO G-MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Shenoa Report Week 14 '25

The Shenoa Report
December 4, 2025
Regular Season Week 14

Guys. It’s December. December brings “Hard Knocks In Season”. This season the HBO mini-doc series is following the NFC East. Best division in the NFL if you ask me. Speaking of which, the NY Football Giants can’t lose this week, they are on a bye! Sigh.

Week 13 was not lucky for me. It chewed me up and spit me out. I lost in both fantasy leagues and my Giants lost. Ugh. I’ve been eliminated from the playoffs in one league but, miraculously, even with a loss, I’m still in 3rd place in the other league. Current ranking (3rd) CMC Ya Next Season 7-6, (9th) Cursed 5-8.

Also, I didn’t tally up picks this week because half of the games had already been played by the time I posted the report.

Let’s jump into the recap!

Packers @ Lions 31-24

I think it’s really more of a tradition for the Lions to lose on Thanksgiving, than to win. They kept the tradition alive. Jordan Love threw four touchdown passes, matching his career high, while the Lions struggled with injuries and missed opportunities. Detroit lost star WR Amon-Ra St. Brown early to an ankle injury, leaving Jared Goff with limited options. Packers Micah Parsons wreaked havoc on Goff, recording multiple sacks and keeping Detroit’s offense under pressure.

Fun Fact: This was the Packers first season sweep of the Lions since 2020, giving them a valuable tiebreaker in the NFC North race

Chiefs @ Cowboys 28-31

The Cowboys beat the Chiefs on Thanksgiving, with Dak Prescott throwing two touchdowns and RB Malik Davis breaking free for a 43 yard TD. Patrick Mahomes tossed four TDs, but, and I hate to say it, the Cowboys were the better team.

Fun Fact: This game made NFL history. The Cowboys-Chiefs matchup drew 57.2 million viewers, making it the most watched regular season game in league history, smashing the previous record of 42 million which was the Cowboys-Giants Thanksgiving game in 2022.

Bengals @ Ravens 32-14

I think it’s safe to say Joe Burrow is back and the Ravens were not prepared. The Bengals defense forced 5 turnovers, two fumbles, and one interception from Lamar Jackson, plus other miscues. Kicker Evan McPherson was perfect, hitting six field goals, including a 52-yarder, giving Cincinnati steady points throughout.

Fun Fact: The Cincinnati Bengals' 32-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving night (November 27, 2025) was the Bengals' first-ever win on Thanksgiving Day.

Bears @ Eagles 24-15

I wore my Bears sweatshirt during this game. I think it worked! It was a fun game to watch. The Bears outgained the Eagles 426–317 in total yards and Chicago’s defense forced two turnovers, including a rare “tush push” fumble by Jalen Hurts.

Fun Fact: This victory was the first time since 1988 that the Bears beat a defending Super Bowl champion on the road. Back then, they defeated Washington 34–14 under Mike Ditka.

49ers @ Browns 26-8

Weather was absolutely a factor in this game. It was stupid windy and cold. The 49ers spoiled rookie QB Shedeur Sanders’ first home start. Brock Purdy scored twice (one passing, one rushing) and even broke out in a dance celebration for his rushing TD. The Browns briefly led 8–7 in the second quarter after Sanders connected with Harold Fannin Jr. for a 34 yard TD plus a successful 2 point conversion. San Francisco responded with 19 unanswered points, including Purdy’s rushing TD and a short strike to Jauan Jennings.

Fun Fact: Brock Purdy’s touchdown dance wasn’t just for fun—it was the first time in his NFL career he celebrated a score with a dance. He promised teammates he’d do it if he found the end zone, and he delivered with the “Dougie”.

Jaguars @ Titans 25-3

Trevor Lawrence had a much better game this week with 229 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Cam Ward, Titans rookie QB, struggled under pressure, was sacked three times, and was unable to sustain drives. The Titans opened with a field goal for their only points.

Fun Fact: The Titans loss marked their 11th straight home defeat, tying the longest home losing streak since the franchise relocated to Tennessee in 1997.

Texans @ Colts 20-16

I got this pick correct. Wow. I surprised myself. Texans QB C.J. Stroud returned from a concussion, threw for 200+ yards, and steadied the Texans offense while Daniel Jones, Colts QB, battled through a leg injury, throwing for 2 TDs but faced heavy pressure (41.7% of dropbacks).

Fun Fact: C.J. Stroud is now 3–0 at Lucas Oil Stadium in his young career. He’s quickly becoming a nemesis for Colts fans, having never lost in Indianapolis.

Saints @ Dolphins 17-21

De’Von Achane opened the scoring with a 29-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. Dolphins kicker Riley Patterson nailed three field goals in the second quarter to extend Miami’s lead to 16–0. Then Saints QB Tyler Shough connected with Chris Olave for a 17-yard TD in the third quarter, followed by a successful two-point conversion to cut the deficit. In the fourth quarter, Shough threw a 15-yard touchdown to Devaughn Vele, but his two-point attempt was intercepted by Minkah Fitzpatrick, who returned it for a defensive conversion. Saints recovered an onside kick late, but their comeback fell short.

Fun Fact: Minkah Fitzpatrick’s interception return on a failed two-point conversion gave Miami two points — a rare defensive conversion that happens only a handful of times each NFL season.

Falcons @ Jets 24-27

Jets QB Tyrod Taylor managed the game well, throwing for 172 yards and a touchdown, plus a rushing TD late in the game. The Jets and Falcons traded scores through the first three quarters, entering the 4th tied at 17–17. The Falcons briefly led 24–17 after Bijan Robinson’s touchdown. But the Jets answered with Taylor’s 10 yard rushing TD to tie it, then Nick Folk’s 56 yard field goal sealed the win.

Fun Fact: Nick Folk’s 56-yard field goal was the longest game-winning kick of his career and tied the Jets franchise record for longest made field goal in a victory.

Rams @ Panthers 28-31

This was a very rainy, shocking game. The Rams got embarrassed in Charlotte. Matthew Stafford passed for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns but committed 3 turnovers - 2 INTs and 1 fumble. Bryce Young completed 15 of 20 passes for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns for Carolina and, more importantly, didn’t turn the ball over.

Fun Fact: At 24 years and 128 days old, Bryce Young became the youngest player in NFL history to record 11 career game-winning drives in the 4th quarter or overtime, surpassing Josh Allen’s previous mark.

Cardinals @ Buccaneers  17-20

The Buccaneers edged the Cardinals thanks to Baker Mayfield’s touchdown pass to tackle Tristan Wirfs, Bucky Irving’s rushing score, and Chase McLaughlin’s clutch 57 yard field goal. Jacoby Brissett threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns to rally Arizona, but a late interception and failed fourth down sealed their loss.

Fun fact: Wirfs became the first Buccaneers offensive lineman to catch a touchdown pass since 2009.

Vikings @ Seahawks 0-26

With J.J. McCarthy out, Max Brosmer made his first NFL start for Minnesota. Seattle’s defense dominated with five takeaways and an 85 yard pick six by Ernest Jones IV. Jason Myers kicked field goals from 33, 56, 54, and 40 yards, and Zach Charbonnet added a fourth quarter rushing touchdown to end the day.

Fun fact: This was Seattle’s first shutout victory since September 27, 2015 (26–0 vs. Chicago), and the Vikings first time being shutout since November 11, 2007 (34–0 vs. Green Bay).

Raiders @ Chargers 14-31

Ugh. I needed a good game from all the Chargers and I didn’t get that.  Herbert threw 2 touchdown passes despite breaking a bone in his non-throwing hand early in the game. He played the rest of the way with a hard cast and glove. The Raiders struggled offensively, converting only 25% of third downs and managing just 31 rushing yards.

Fun Fact: Justin Herbert became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw multiple touchdown passes in a game while playing with a broken bone in his non-throwing hand covered by a cast and glove.

Bills  @ Steelers 26-7

The game didn’t start off great if you’re a Bills fan. James Cook fumbled the ball which led to the Steelers lone touchdown. Buffalo controlled possession for nearly 42 minutes, piling up 249 rushing yards, the most ever allowed by the Steelers at home. Josh Allen threw for 123 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another.

Fun Fact: Josh Allen’s rushing touchdown was his 76th career rushing score, breaking the all-time NFL record for quarterbacks. He passed Cam Newton (75) to stand alone at the top.

Broncos @ Commanders 27-26 OT

I am so flippin mad at this game, still. Freakin Terry McLaurin. My opponent had McLaurin in his starting lineup. I was projected to win by 15 points. I had a significant lead. I lost. Because of Scary Terry and the fact the game went into overtime. Had the game ended in regulation, Scary Terry wouldn’t have had a touchdown in overtime ruining my fantasy week.

Fun Fact: This was the first time in NFL history that a game ended with a batted-down 2-point conversion in overtime. Nik Bonitto’s play preserved Denver’s ninth straight win and kept their perfect record in close games intact

NY Giants @ Patriots 15-33

This is the game I expected. Never in it. Good ol’ Giants. Drake Maye threw two touchdown passes, and Marcus Jones returned a punt 94 yards for a touchdown as New England won its 10th straight and became the first team to reach 11 wins this season. The Pats beat up on Jaxson Dart and the rest of NY. It wasn’t fun to watch.

Fun fact: Marcus Jones’s 94-yard punt return tied Julian Edelman for the longest punt return in Patriots franchise history.

WEEK 14

Thursday, December 4th

Cowboys (6-5-1) @ Lions (7-5) (8:15pm PRIME VIDEO)

I know the Lions have lost three of their last five games and the Cowboys are on a three game winning streak. I predict that it ends tonight. I will be rooting for and picking the Lions to win this game.

Sunday, December 7th

Dolphins (5-7) @ Jets  (3-9) (1pm CBS)

Neither team is what you would call good. The Jets have only won three games this season. The Dolphins have won three straight. I am picking the Dolphins to win this game.

Steelers  (6-6) @ Ravens (6-6) (1pm CBS)

Lamar Jackson has an ankle injury but is planning to play through it. If Jackson plays I’m picking the Ravens to win this game.

Fun Fact: This will be the first-ever matchup between Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers, two former MVP quarterbacks, adding extra intrigue to the rivalry.

Saints (6-6) @ Buccaneers  (7-5) (1pm CBS)

I’m going to have to pick the Bucs to win this game over their division rival. I hope it’s high scoring too.

Colts  (8-4) @ Jaguars  (8-4) (1pm CBS)

The Colts do NOT do well in Jacksonville. They have lost 10 straight road games in Duval county, dating back to 2014. I’m going with history and picking the Jags to win this game.

Titans  (1-11) @ Browns  (3-9) (1pm FOX)

I’m going with the home team to win this game, but only because I think the Titans win was by accident.

Commanders (3-9) @ Vikings (4-8) (1pm FOX)

The Vikings were shut out last week and just hope to score a point this week. They’ve only won one home game this season, will this be their next? The Commanders only have one road win. I’m going with the upset and picking the Commanders to win this game.

Seahawks (9-3) @ Falcons (4-8) (1pm FOX)

Speaking of shutouts, Seattle put a hurting on the Vikings last week and looks to do similar this week in Atlanta. I am picking the Seahawks to win this game.

Bengals (4-8) @ Bills (8-4) (1pm FOX)

I am picking the Bills to win this game. There is a lot riding on this game as my Giants aren’t playing this week so my sole focus will be my sidepiece team. LET’S GO BUFFALO!

Broncos (10-2) @ Raiders (2-10) (4:05pm CBS)

This has the potential to be a trap game. I don’t think it will be, but maybe? I’m picking the Broncos to win this game.

Bears (9-3) @  Packers (8-3-1) (4:25pm FOX)

Another divisional matchup! This game should be very good. I’m picking the Packers to win but only because they are the home team and it’s hard to beat the home team at Lambeau.

Rams (9-3)  @ Cardinals (3-9) (4:25pm FOX)

I’m picking the Rams to win this game. Hopefully there will be many fewer turnovers this time. I’m looking at you Matthew Stafford.

Texans (7-5) @ Chiefs (6-6)  (8:20pm NBC/Peacock)

I’m picking the Chiefs to win this game, but only because they are the home team.

Monday, December 8th

Eagles (8-4) @ Chargers (8-4) (8:15pm ABC/ESPN)

I’ll be rooting for the Chargers and hoping they beat the Eagles. But I am going to pick the Eagles to win this game.

BYES: NY Giants, 49ers, Panthers, Patriots

The Shenoa Report Week 13 '25 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
November 30, 2025
Regular Season Week 13

Happy week 13. Historically lucky for me. This year, we’ll see.

Happy Thanksgiving, a few days late. I hope it was a good one! I had almost finished this report Thursday morning but I still had dinner rolls to make and those take priority in our family. Just ask, I wouldn’t have been allowed at the family thanksgiving without the dinner rolls. So bread won out on Thursday. Then,  I wasn’t excited to talk about the Eagles game Friday so I procrastinated posting this report until now.

In fantasy football land I am fighting to not get eliminated in one league and in the other I’m fighting for playoff positioning. I am playing the number one seed in each league. Cool. To make things fun on the home front I am playing the love of my life in hopes of a playoff spot. It’s not going well, I’ll most likely be eliminated after the one o’clock games. I bounced back somewhat in fantasy, winning in one league, losing in the other. Current ranking (3rd) CMC Ya Next Season 7-5, (6th) Cursed 5-7.

Also, I went 10-4 in picks.

Let’s jump into the recap!

Bills @ Texans 19-23

If you are a Bills fan, this wasn’t a fun game to watch. Josh Allen was sacked, a lot. The Bills did not look good, but they made the Texans look really good.

Fun fact (or not so fun fact): Josh Allen’s eight sacks in this game marked a career high for him.

Colts @ Chiefs 20-23 OT

The Chiefs rallied from an 11 point fourth quarter deficit to beat the Colts in overtime. Patrick Mahomes threw for a season high 352 yards, connecting often with Rashee Rice, while the Colts offense stalled on offense late in the game. The Colts led most of the game and the Chiefs didn’t take their first lead until the game winning field goal in OT.

Fun fact: This was the Chiefs first one score victory of the 2025 season, breaking a streak of close losses.

Steelers @ Bears 28-31

Caleb Williams had three touchdown passes and the Bears defense forced two turnovers that set up 14 points, while Mason Rudolph, filling in for the injured Aaron Rodgers, kept Pittsburgh close with a strong first half. Chicago scored 17 unanswered points after trailing 21–14, then held off a late Steelers rally to secure their fourth straight win.

Fun fact: With this victory, the Bears improved to 8–3, marking their best record through 11 games since 2018.

Patriots @ Bengals 26-20

The Patriots rallied from a 10 point deficit to beat the Bengals, extending their winning streak to nine games. Drake Maye threw for 294 yards and a touchdown, while cornerback Marcus Jones' pick-six in the second quarter shifted momentum. Patriots kicker Andy Borregales was perfect on four field goals, including a clutch 52 yarder in the final two minutes to seal the win.

Fun fact: With this victory, the Patriots became the first NFL team to reach 10 wins in 2025, improving to 6–0 on the road.

Jets @ Ravens 10-23

The Ravens stomped the Jets, powered by two third-quarter rushing touchdowns from Derrick Henry. Lamar Jackson threw for 153 yards while the Ravens defense forced two turnovers and held the Jets to just 287 total yards. John Metchie III scored the Jets lone touchdown in the second quarter, but Baltimore’s 17 unanswered points after halftime sealed their fifth straight win.

Fun fact: The Ravens became the first team in NFL history to rebound from a 1–5 start with a five game winning streak.

Seahawks @ Titans 30-24

Sam Darnold threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns and Jaxon Smith-Njigba had eight catches for 167 yards, including a 63-yard score that swung momentum in Seattle’s favor. The Titans rallied late with two touchdowns, but the Seahawks held on to improve to 8–3 and strengthen their NFC playoff position.

Fun fact: Jaxon Smith-Njigba broke the Seahawks single-season receiving yards record (1,313), surpassing DK Metcalf’s mark set in 2020.

Vikings @ Packers 6-23

Filling in for the injured Josh Jacobs, Emanuel Wilson had 107 rushing yards and two touchdowns in his first NFL start. The Packers defense dominated, sacking  QB J.J. McCarthy five times and forcing three turnovers, while Minnesota managed only two long field goals. The Vikings generated just four net yards in the second half.

Fun fact: Emanuel Wilson became the first undrafted Division II rookie running back to rush for 100+ yards in his first NFL start.

NY Giants @ Lions 27-34 OT

Guys. It’s a joke amongst Giants fans. “How will we lose this game?”, is the question we ask every game. So, how did we lose this one? I could just copy and paste the reason  from last week, or the week before, or the week before, or the week, because it’s the same reason every week. Defensive Coordinator, Shane Bowen.  We led the ENTIRE GAME. The defense played soft in the 4th quarter allowing the Lions to come back to tie the game sending it to overtime.  Then, ON THE FIRST PLAY OF OVERTIME Jahmyr Gibbs took the rock 69 yards to the endzone. The Giants had a chance, but Jameis Winston’s magic ran out and we lost another heart breaker.

Fun fact: Gibbs’ 264 scrimmage yards were the most by a Lions player in a single game since Barry Sanders in 1997.

Jaguars @ Cardinals 27-24 OT

This game also went into overtime. Trevor Lawrence threw three touchdown passes despite committing four turnovers. The Cardinals tied the game in the final seconds of regulation, but Jacksonville’s resilience carried them to their seventh win of the season.

Fun fact: This was the Jaguars second overtime victory in four weeks, highlighting their knack for late-game drama.

Browns @ Raiders 24-10

Shedeur Sanders got a W in his first NFL start. Sanders threw for 209 yards including a 66 yard touchdown to Dylan Sampson, while Myles Garrett anchored the defense with three of the team’s 10 sacks. The Raiders struggled offensively, converting just 4 of 17 third downs and committing 13 penalties for 109 yards.

Fun fact: Sanders snapped a historic streak — he became the first Browns quarterback since 1995 to win his NFL debut, ending a run of 17 straight Cleveland QBs who lost their first career start.

Falcons @ Saints 24-10

The Falcons snapped a five game losing streak with this win over the Saints. Kirk Cousins threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns, including a 49 yard pass to Darnell Mooney in the fourth quarter. The Falcons defense held the Saints to just three points after halftime, while New Orleans missed two field goals and failed on multiple fourth down attempts.

Fun fact: This was the Falcons first victory inside the Caesars Superdome since 2021, ending a four-year drought.

Eagles @ Cowboys 21-24

The Cowboys stunned the Eagles (and everyone else)  after rallying from a 21 point first half deficit. Dak Prescott threw for 354 yards, two touchdowns, and ran for the tying score before Brandon Aubrey’s 42 yard field goal as time expired. The Cowboys defense tightened in the second half, holding the Eagles scoreless and securing Dallas’ biggest comeback in franchise history.

Fun fact: Prescott broke Tony Romo’s franchise record for career passing yards during the game, finishing with 34,378.

Buccaneers @ Rams 7-34

The Rams dominated the Bucs  jumping out to a 21–0 lead in the first half. Matthew Stafford threw three touchdown passes, including two to Davante Adams, while Cobie Durant added a 50-yard interception return for a score. Baker Mayfield left the game with a shoulder injury, and the Buccaneers never recovered as the Rams extended their winning streak to six games.

Fun fact: Harrison Mevis, the Rams rookie kicker, made his first career NFL field goal in the game.

Panthers @ 49ers 9-20

Christian McCaffrey had 142 scrimmage yards and a touchdown against his former team. Despite Brock Purdy throwing three interceptions in the first half, the 49ers defense held firm and limited Carolina to just 230 total yards. Bryce Young managed one touchdown pass, but the Panthers failed to capitalize on turnovers.

Fun fact: This was McCaffrey’s first game against the Panthers since being traded in 2022, and he led all players in yards from scrimmage.

WEEK 13

Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 28th

Packers (7-3-1) @ Lions (7-4) (1pm FOX)

The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions have played each other 23 times on Thanksgiving Day, the most frequent matchup in NFL Thanksgiving history. The Detroit Lions have played on Thanksgiving 85 times so far, the most in Thanksgiving history. Their record on this day is 37-46-2. The Packers have played 39 times and their record on this day is 17-20-2. The Packers played annually from 1920-38 on Thanksgiving but haven’t played on this day since 2021. I’m rooting for and picking the Lions to win this game. I also picked them last year as they were having an equally incredible year. They lost. I hope they win this year. -Spoiler: They lost this year too.

Chiefs (6-5) @ Cowboys (5-5-1) (4:30pm CBS)

The Cowboys have played on Thanksgiving 58 times so far, the second most in Thanksgiving history. Their record on this day is 35-22-1. The Kansas City Chiefs have played 11 times on Thanksgiving Day, with an all-time record of 5 wins and 6 losses. I would have picked the Chiefs to win and I would have been wrong.

Bengals (3-8) @ Ravens (6-5) (8:20pm NBC)

The Bengals had only played once on Thanksgiving before this game and they lost that game. The Ravens had only played twice before on Thanksgiving and they won both. I would have picked the Ravens to win this game and I would have been wrong.

Friday, November 28th

Bears (8-3) @ Eagles (8-3) (3pm PRIME VIDEO)

Also, I would have picked the Eagles to win this game and I would have been wrong again, but super ok with it. Fun fact: I wore my Bears sweatshirt in solidarity for this game. I think it worked.

Sunday, November 30th

49ers (8-4) @ Browns (3-8) (1pm CBS)

The weather may be a factor in this game. High winds, cold, and some possible rain and snow. It should be a good game for CMC and that’s really all I need. I’m picking the 49ers to win this game.

Jaguars (7-4) @ Titans (1-10) (1pm CBS)

If Trevor Lawrence can keep the ball in his own players hands and stop throwing interceptions the Jags will win this game, and that’s my pick. The Jags get the W.

Texans (6-5) @ Colts (8-3) (1pm CBS)

The Colts haven’t lost at home yet this season. Something tells me today is the day that changes. Even though the Colts are favorites to win this game I am picking the Texans for the upset.

Saints (2-9) @ Dolphins (4-7) (1pm FOX)

I’m picking the Dolphins to win this game. The Saints continue to crumble and the Dolphins are on a win streak, dare I say.

Falcons (4-7) @ Jets (2-9) (1pm FOX)

With two terrible teams it’s anyone’s game. I’m picking the Falcons to win this one.

Rams (9-2) @ Panthers (6-6) (1pm FOX)

I’m pretty sure this is going to be an ugly game for the Panthers. I’m picking the Rams to win this game and I’m hoping for multiple touchdowns for Rams WR Adams and RB  Williams.

Cardinals (3-8) @ Buccaneers  (6-5) (1pm CBS)

Wait for it, the Bucs have some injuries. This is not new. Baker Mayfield is going to play through a shoulder injury. I’m not sure he’s throwing to anymore. I’m still picking the Bucs to win this game.

Vikings (4-7) @  Seahawks (8-3) (4:05pm FOX)

I’m picking the Seahawks to win this game. It’s hard to pick against JSN.

Raiders (2-9)  @ Chargers (7-4) (4:25pm CBS)

I need the Chargers to have a major bounce back game. I need all the points from Justin Herbert, Keenan Allen, and Oronde Gadsden. Fingers crossed. I’m picking the Chargers to win this game.

Bills  (7-4) @ Steelers (6-5) (4:25pm CBS)

I am rooting for and picking the Bills to win this game. Buffalo, you’ve got to get your stuff together. GO BILLS!

Broncos (9-2) @ Commanders (3-8)  (8:20pm NBC/Peacock)

Yeah, I’m going to have to pick the Broncos to win this game.

Monday, December 1st

NY Giants (2-10) @ Patriots (10-2) (8:15pm ESPN)

The Giants FINALLY fired Shane Bowen so I’m hopeful the defense will look better. I’ll probably just watch one of the Giants - Patriots Super Bowls because I know I’ll like the outcome there. I’m picking the Patriots to win this game. Go G-Men.

The Shenoa Report Week 12 '25 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
November 20, 2025
Regular Season Week 12

Have you ever had one of those weeks that blindsided you. I’ve had one of those weeks. What day is it? No worries, I’m ok. We’re ok. I just didn’t have the time I usually do to put into this report, so it’ll be on the brief side.

I bounced back somewhat in fantasy, winning in one league, losing in the other. Current ranking (3rd) CMC Ya Next Season 7-4, (7th) Cursed 4-7.

Also, I went 13-2 in picks.

Let’s jump into the recap!

Jets @ Patriots 14-27 (8:20pm NBC)

The Jets opened the game with a long, early touchdown drive, but the Patriots offense, led by Drake Maye and RB TreVeyon Henderson, quickly took control and pulled away.

Fun Fact: Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson scored three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving), joining Rob Gronkowski as the only two rookies in Patriots franchise history to achieve this in a single game.

Commanders @ Dolphins 13-16 OT

The Dolphins defeated the Commanders in overtime in the NFL's first ever regular season game played in Spain. The defensive-minded game saw Washington force multiple goal-line stops, but Miami cornerback Jack Jones sealed the victory with an interception on the very first play of overtime, setting up the game-winning field goal.

Fun Fact: This game was played at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain, making it the first time an NFL regular-season game was ever held in that country.

Bengals @ Steelers 12-34

Things didn’t really get exciting until the second half. The game shifted dramatically in the third quarter when Steelers safety Kyle Dugger intercepted a Joe Flacco pass and returned it 73 yards for a touchdown. After starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers left the game with a wrist injury, backup Mason Rudolph efficiently managed the offense to secure the divisional win.

Fun Fact: The Steelers defense scored two touchdowns, a pick-six by Kyle Dugger and a  fumble recovery by James Pierre, making it the first time the team had multiple defensive touchdowns in a game since 2018.

Chargers @ Jaguars 6-35

The Jaguars dominated the Chargers ending LA's three-game winning streak. The Jaguars success was built on a punishing run game that put up 192 yards and four touchdowns, completely controlling the clock and tempo. The lopsided loss was so decisive that the Chargers pulled quarterback Justin Herbert from the game in the fourth quarter.

Fun Fact: The Jaguars defense was exceptional, allowing the Chargers a total of only 42 rushing yards, marking the second time this season they held an opponent under 50 yards rushing.

Buccaneers @ Bills 32-44

The Bills defeated the Buccaneers in a wild, back and worth game that featured an incredible nine lead changes. Bills QB Josh Allen accounted for all six of Buffalo's touchdowns (three passing, three rushing) to overcome a strong 202 yard rushing effort by the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay managed to turn three Bills turnovers into only three points, allowing Buffalo to pull away in the fourth quarter for the decisive home victory.

Fun Fact: Josh Allen's performance made him the first player in NFL history to have two separate games with at least three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns.

Bears @ Vikings 19-17

The Bears blew a 16-3 fourth-quarter lead, allowing the Vikings to score two late touchdowns to take a one-point lead with 50 seconds left. A 56 yard kickoff return by Devin Duvernay immediately set up the game-winning drive for kicker Cairo Santos.

Fun Fact: The Chicago Bears defense forced two interceptions on Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy, making them the first NFL team since the 2011 Green Bay Packers to have three different players with at least four interceptions in their first 10 games of a season.

Texans @ Titans 16-13

Filling in for the injured C.J. Stroud, QB Davis Mills engineered a crucial final drive, capped off by Matthew Wright's 35 yard field goal as time expired. Houston's defense was stout, holding the Titans to only 229 total yards, though they did allow a late 95 yard touchdown drive that briefly tied the game.

Fun Fact: This victory marked the Texans fifth consecutive win in Nashville against the Titans, sweeping the season series for the 2025 season.

Panthers @ Falcons 30-27 OT

The Panthers overcame a 21-7 deficit to defeat the Falcons in a thrilling overtime divisional matchup. Panthers QB Bryce Young put on a phenomenal performance, orchestrating the furious rally and setting up the game winning field goal in OT. The loss was especially tough for the Falcons, who saw quarterback Michael Penix Jr. leave the game with a knee injury in the third quarter.

Fun Fact: Bryce Young set a Panthers franchise record for most passing yards in a single game with 448 yards in this dramatic victory over their NFC South rivals.

Packers @ NY Giants 27-20

I don’t have anything to say about the Giants. The Packers snapped a two game losing streak despite injuries to quarterback Jordan Love and running back Josh Jacobs. Love returned from a shoulder injury to throw the go ahead touchdown pass to Christian Watson with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. The victory was secured by safety Evan Williams, who intercepted a pass in the end zone with 36 seconds remaining to stop the Giants final drive.

Fun Fact: Despite winning the game, the Packers had a massive 11:52 time of possession deficit (24:04 to the Giants 35:56), the largest gap they'd overcome all season.

Seahawks @ Rams 19-21

The Rams defense was the decisive factor, intercepting Sam Darnold four times, with two picks leading directly to Rams touchdowns. Although Seattle mounted a late comeback, kicker Jason Myers missed a 61 yard field goal attempt as time expired, sealing the victory for Los Angeles.

Fun Fact: The Rams victory was only the second win of the Sean McVay era where Los Angeles had less than 23 minutes of possession time, showcasing the sheer impact of their four takeaways.

49ers @ Cardinals 41-22

Brock Purdy threw three touchdown passes, while running back Christian McCaffrey scored three total touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving). The Cardinals were severely hampered by three turnovers and a staggering 17 penalties for 130 yards, allowing the 49ers to maintain control throughout the game.

Fun Fact: 49ers tight end George Kittle's two touchdown receptions gave him 50 career receiving touchdowns, making him and Brock Purdy the 49ers franchise leaders for most quarterback-to-tight end touchdowns.

 Ravens @ Browns 23-16

Trailing most of the game, Baltimore took the lead late in the fourth quarter when tight end Mark Andrews executed a trick play, running 35 yards for a go ahead rushing touchdown. Despite the Browns defense recording three turnovers and star Myles Garrett racking up four sacks, the Ravens run game and a late defensive stand sealed the victory.

Fun Fact: Mark Andrews' game-winning play, which was a fake "tush push" where he lined up under center and ran the ball, was the first rushing touchdown of his entire NFL career.

Chiefs @ Broncos 19-22

The Broncos won another one with a field goal as time expired. Kansas City's struggles continued, as they were undone by an inability to finish drives, including a crucial blocked extra point and two late three-and-outs.

Fun Fact: Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce broke the franchise record for career total touchdowns with his 84th score, surpassing former Chiefs running back Priest Holmes.

Lions @ Eagles 9-16

The Eagles defense held the Lions to their lowest point total of the season and made five crucial stops on fourth down, repeatedly turning back scoring threats. Offensively, Jalen Hurts scored the Eagles only touchdown via the tush push, which proved to be the difference in the low-scoring outing.

Fun Fact: The Eagles defense held the Lions, who entered the game averaging 31.4 points per game, to just nine points; this marked the first time all season that Detroit failed to convert a single fourth-down attempt (going 0-for-5).

Cowboys @ Raiders 33-16

Dak Prescott had four touchdown passes and the Cowboys defense shut down the Raiders offense, holding them to just 27 rushing yards and forcing a safety.

Fun Fact: Dak Prescott's four-touchdown performance was his 41st career game with at least three passing touchdowns, breaking a tie with Tony Romo for the most in Cowboys franchise history.

WEEK 12

Thursday, November 20th

Bills (7-3) @ Texans (5-5) (8:15pm PRIME VIDEO)

I’ll be rooting for and picking the Bills to win this game. Let’s go Buffalo!

Sunday, November 23rd

Colts (8-2) @ Chiefs  (5-5) (1pm CBS)

The Chiefs have only lost one home game this season. It’s hard to pick against them at home. Therefore, I guess I’m picking the Chiefs to win this game.

Steelers (6-4) @ Bears (7-3) (1pm CBS)

The Bears have done really well as of late and the Steelers may be without Aaron Rodgers, who has a broken wrist on his non throwing arm. Regardless, I’m picking the Bears to win this game.

Patriots (9-2) @ Bengals (3-7) (1pm CBS)

The only hope the Bengals had of winning this game was with Ja’mar Chase and he’s on a one game suspension for spitting on another player. I’m picking the Patriots to win this game.

Jets (2-8) @ Ravens (5-5)  (1pm CBS)

It doesn’t matter who is quarterbacking the Jets, I’m picking the Ravens to win this game.

Seahawks (7-3) @ Titans (1-9) (1pm FOX)

I’m going to pick the Seahawks to win this game.

Vikings (4-6) @ Packers (6-3-1) (1pm FOX)

I think that the Packers are going to win again this week and that’s who I’m picking.

NY Giants (2-9) @ Lions (6-4)  (1pm FOX)

You know the story. I’ll be rooting for the Giants, because I’m a glutton for punishment, but I’m picking the Lions to win this game. Go G-Men!

Jaguars (6-4) @ Cardinals (3-7)  (4:05pm CBS)

I’m picking the Jags to win this game. They are just the better team.

Browns (2-8) @ Raiders (2-8) (4:05pm CBS)

Both teams are a complete mess. I’m going to pick the Raiders to win but only because they are the home team.

Falcons (3-7) @ Saints (2-8) (4:25pm FOX)

I’m going with home field advantage again and picking the Saints to win this game.

Eagles (8-2) @ Cowboys (4-5-1) (4:25pm FOX)

I’m hoping this game ends in a tie. But, I’m picking the Eagles to win this game.

Buccaneers (6-4) @ Rams (8-2) (8:20pm NBC)

I’m picking the Rams to win this game, I just need them to not hurt any Bucs players. They are so beat up already!

Monday, November 24th

Panthers (6-5) @ 49ers (7-4) (8:15pm ABC, ESPN)

CMC gets to play his old team. I’m picking the 49ers to win this game.

BYE WEEK: Chargers, Commanders, Broncos, Dolphins

The Shenoa Report Week 11 '25 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
November 13, 2025
Regular Season Week 11

THE GIANTS FIRED BRIAN DABOLL!!!!!!!! That is all.

I bounced back somewhat in fantasy, winning in one league losing in the other. Current ranking (1st) CMC Ya Next Season 7-3, (8th) Cursed 3-7.

Also, I went 8-6 in picks.

Let’s jump into the recap!

Raiders @ Broncos 7-10

Guys, this game was pretty boring. The Raiders actually looked like they might upset the Broncos, but they are the Raiders so, the Broncos won.

Fun fact: The game featured 15 punts and 13 three-and-outs, making it one of the most punt-heavy primetime matchups in recent NFL history. See! Boring!

Falcons @ Colts 25-31 OT

If you have Jonathan Taylor on your fantasy team, you probably won this week. My opponent had him. I lost. Taylor ran wild in Berlin, racking up 244 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime.

Fun fact: This was the first-ever regular-season NFL game played in Berlin, held at Olympic Stadium, marking a historic expansion of the league’s international footprint.

Browns @ Jets 20-27

The Jets stunned the Browns and the rest of the NFL by winning their second game of the season. Despite gaining just 177 total yards and only 54 passing yards from Justin Fields, the Jets special teams had both a kickoff AND punt return touchdown. Cleveland’s offense was efficient and turnover-free, but the Browns became the first team since 1950 to lose a game while allowing under 175 yards and committing zero turnovers.

Fun fact: The Jets kickoff and punt return touchdowns in the same game marked the first time in franchise history they pulled off that double-special-teams feat.

Jaguars @ Texans 29-36

The Texans pulled off a stunning 36–29 comeback win over the Jaguars, scoring 26 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. Backup QB Davis Mills threw two touchdown passes and scrambled for the go ahead score with 31 seconds left, while Sheldon Rankins sealed the game with a fumble return TD. Jacksonville had led by 19 entering the 4th quarter. This was their largest blown lead in franchise history.

Fun fact: This was the first time in NFL history a team scored 26+ points in the fourth quarter to win after trailing by 19 or more entering the final period.

Bills @ Dolphins 13-30

Ummmm. What happened? Guys. You looked past this game. I told you not to. But, clearly, you underestimated the Dolphins. Now the egg is on your face. The Dolphins defense forced three turnovers and held the Bills scoreless through three quarters, while Tua Tagovailoa orchestrated a 92-yard TD drive to open the game. Buffalo rallied late with two fourth-quarter touchdowns, but it was too little too late.

Fun fact: This was the first time in franchise history the Dolphins scored 30+ points and forced 3+ turnovers in a win over Buffalo at Hard Rock Stadium.

Patriots @ Buccaneers 28-23

Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson racked up 147 rushing yards and two TDs, while Drake Maye added 270 passing yards and two scores to keep New England unbeaten on the road. Baker Mayfield threw three touchdowns for the Bucs, but their defense couldn’t contain the Patriots big-play barrage.

Fun fact: New England became the first team in NFL history to score four straight touchdowns of 50+ yards in a single game.

NY Giants @ Bears 20-24

Stop me if you’ve heard this before. The Giants had a double digit lead going into the fourth quarter. Did they win the game? No, no they did not. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. FIRE SHANE BOWEN. Now, after this epic collapse for the fourth time this season, Giants owner John Mara did something. Brian Daboll has been relieved of his coaching duties. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I think the straw that broke Daboll's proverbial back was Jaxson Dart’s exit from the game due to a concussion. Daboll was calling all the QB run plays. It wasn’t smart. In fact, the way Daboll was calling Dart’s plays had put him in harm's way all season. Dart is our team and if we are to have any run at any post season in the next few years we’ve got to keep him healthy. Daboll couldn’t do that. So, we lost the game we should have won. Dart is out with a concussion and it’s abundantly clear that Russell Wilson is not the answer. Dart had a hell of a game with two rushing touchdowns before he left late in the 3rd quarter, but the Bears capitalized on the terrible play calling from the Giants and a mediocre QB in Wilson and rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit thanks to two late touchdowns from Caleb Williams.

Fun fact: Jaxson Dart became the first Giants quarterback in history to rush for multiple touchdowns in a game at Soldier Field.

Ravens @ Vikings 27-19

The Vikings really didn’t stand a chance with Lamar Jackson back for the Ravens. The Ravens defense forced three turnovers and Jackson threw for 212 yards and a touchdown, while the Ravens held QB J.J. McCarthy in check throughout. Ravens TE Mark Andrews added a fourth-quarter TD and two-point conversion to seal Baltimore’s third straight win.

Fun fact: This was Lamar Jackson’s 100th career regular-season start, and he became the first QB in NFL history to reach 10,000 passing yards and 5,000 rushing yards within that span.

Saints @ Panthers17-7

The Saints snapped a four-game losing streak with this divisional win over the Panthers. QB Tyler Shough had 282 passing yards with two passing touchdowns, one to Chris Olave and the other to Juwan Johnson.  Even Alvin Kamara got more involved with 83 rushing yards. Carolina’s offense sputtered after an early touchdown, managing just 175 total yards and turning the ball over twice.

Fun fact: Tyler Shough became the first Saints rookie quarterback to throw for 250+ yards and multiple touchdowns in a road win since Archie Manning in 1971

Cardinals @ Seahawks 22-44

The Seahawks crushed the Cardinals, jumping out to a 35–0 lead behind two defensive touchdowns and a near-perfect first half from Sam Darnold. DeMarcus Lawrence returned two fumbles for touchdowns, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba and George Holani added explosive TDs as the Seahawks improved to 7–2. The Cardinals rallied late with Jacoby Brissett throwing two touchdowns, but their early deficit proved insurmountable.

Fun fact: Seattle has now beaten Arizona nine straight times dating back to 2021, their longest active win streak against any division rival.

Lions @ Commanders 44-22

The Lions steamrolled the Commanders, scoring on their first eight possessions and racking up 546 total yards. Jahmyr Gibbs led the charge with 142 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Jared Goff threw touchdown passes to Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. The Commanders couldn’t keep pace despite two TD passes from Marcus Mariota.

Fun fact: Lions punter Jack Fox didn’t punt once, as Detroit became the first team this season to score on every drive with their starting offense

Rams @ 49ers 42-26

Matthew Stafford threw four touchdowns in this win over the 49ers. Kyren Williams added two rushing scores, and the Rams avenged their Week 5 overtime loss with a dominant offensive display that kept them tied atop the NFC West at 7–2. San Francisco’s Mac Jones tossed three TDs but couldn’t overcome two costly turnovers and a depleted roster.

Fun fact: Stafford became the first QB in NFL history to throw 4+ touchdowns with zero interceptions in three straight games

Steelers @ Chargers 10-25

The Chargers beat the Steelers, dominating defensively and capitalizing on key turnovers. Justin Herbert threw for 220 yards and a touchdown, while safety RJ Mickens’ second-quarter interception set up the game’s first TD. Aaron Rodgers struggled with two picks and a safety, with Pittsburgh’s only touchdown coming in garbage time.

Fun fact: The first quarter ended with a rare 3–2 score, marking one of the few times in NFL history a game opened with a safety and a field goal as the only points.

Eagles @ Packers 10-7

This game was pretty much a waste of time. It was borrrrrrrrring. No points were even scored until the 3rd quarter and that was a measly field goal. The whole 4th quarter was considered garbage time and still there was only one touchdown scored from either team. Lame.

Fun fact: This was the first Monday Night Football game to be scoreless at halftime since 2009, highlighting just how rare and gritty this defensive battle was.

WEEK 11

Thursday, November 13th

Jets (2-7) @ Patriots (8-2) (8:15pm PRIME VIDEO)

I mean, I’m not dumb. I am picking the Patriots to beat their division rival.

Sunday, November 16th

Commanders (3-7) @ Dolphins (3-7) (9:30am NFLN, NFL+)

Who even knows anymore. The Dolphins fired their GM and then beat the Bills. I can’t imagine they’ll win two in a row, but they are playing the Commanders, who look just as pathetic as the Dolphins.  This game will be played in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Madrid, Spain. The Commanders have never won an international game, and Marcus Mariota has never started a game outside of the USA. The last time the Dolphins played overseas they were shutout. So, what I’m saying is it could go either way, or maybe no one scores a single point. Now that would be something. I’m picking the Dolphins to win this game.

Bengals (3-6) @ Steelers (5-4) (1pm CBS)

We get the Icy-Hot bowl again! Rematch Alert: The Bengals stunned Pittsburgh 33–31 in Week 7 behind Joe Flacco’s 470 yard, 4 TD performance. The Steelers are hungry for payback. Reminder, Aaron Rodgers (Steelers) and Joe Flacco (Bengals) are both 40+, making this the oldest combined QB matchup of the season, again. I’m picking the Steelers to win this one, but I won’t be sad if I am wrong.

Chargers (7-3) @ Jaguars (5-4) (1pm CBS)

The Jags blew a huge lead last week in NY Giants fashion. They are looking to bounce back but the Chargers are ferocious. I am picking the Chargers to win this game.

Buccaneers (6-3) @ Bills (6-3)  (1pm CBS)

I guess it’ll depend on what team shows up this week for the Bills. I was sure they would beat the Dolphins last week. I like both teams and Baker Mayfield is my quarterback in one of my fantasy leagues. Sigh. I’m picking the Bills to win this game. Go Bills!

Bears (6-3) @ Vikings (4-5) (1pm FOX)

The Bears lost 27–24 in Week 1 after blowing a fourth-quarter lead. They’ve improved significantly since then and are looking forward to this divisional rematch. Even though the Bears are the away team, I am still picking them to win this game. I mean, they beat the Giants last week, they can totally beat the Vikings this week.

Texans (4-5) @ Titans (1-8) (1pm FOX)

I’m picking the Texans to win this game. I’ll be more shocked if I am wrong.

Panthers (5-5) @ Falcons (3-6)  (1pm FOX)

The Panthers crushed the Falcons 30–0 earlier this season. The Falcons are seeking revenge and trying to snap a four-game losing streak. I am going against my normal, pick the home team for the win, I’m picking the Panthers sweep the Falcons.

Packers (5-3-1) @ NY Giants (2-8)  (1pm FOX)

You’ll be shocked to know that I am picking the Packers to win this game. The Giants just fired head coach Brian Daboll and will likely be without rookie QB Jaxson Dart, who’s in concussion protocol. National Treasure Jameis Winston will get the start for NY. Mike Kafka is currently serving as the interim head coach. Obviously I’m still rooting for my NY Football Giants, and I have false hope again with the firing of Dabs. LET’S GO G-MEN!

Seahawks (7-2) @ Rams (7-2) (4:05pm FOX)

I am picking the Rams to win, mostly because they are the home team and should have home field advantage.

49ers (6-4) @ Cardinals (3-6) (4:05pm FOX)

I’m picking the 49ers to win this game. I know the team is banged up but the Cardinals are also pretty depleted. Also, Marvin Harrison Jr, will be out this week as he had an emergency appendectomy earlier this week.

Ravens (4-5) @ Browns (2-7) (4:25pm CBS)

With Lamar back, I’m picking the Ravens to win this game.

Chiefs (5-4) @ Broncos (8-2) (4:25pm CBS)

Ok. The Broncos are undefeated at home this season. Denver’s defense is allowing just 18.3 points per game and ranks top 5 in pressure rate. The Chiefs are coming off their bye week.  Andy Reid is 22–4 after a bye week, one of the best records in NFL history. Patrick Mahomes is undefeated in regular season games against the Broncos (13–0). All that said, I’m picking the Broncos to win this game. Stick it to ‘em.

Lions (6-3) @ Eagles (7-2) (8:20pm NBC)

You know what? I just decided. I’m picking the Lions to upset the Eagles at home. Let’s go LIONS!

Monday, November 10th

Cowboys (3-5-1) @ Raiders (2-7) (8:15pm ABC, ESPN)

I would love to see the Raiders beat the Cowboys. It’s not likely, but I’d like to see it. I’m picking the Cowboys to win this game.

BYE WEEK: Colts, Saints

The Shenoa Report Week 10 '25 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report

November 6, 2025

Regular Season Week 10

Welcome to November. The trade deadline was Tuesday and there were some surprises. The biggest blockbuster being the Jets trading CB Sauce Gardner to the Colts and DT Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys. Other notable deals included the Seahawks acquiring WR Rashid Shaheed from the Saints and the Jaguars trading for WR Jakobi Meyers from the Raiders. Most shockingly, the Giants made no moves. Sigh?

I was out of town last week celebrating my brother’s retirement from the military so I wasn’t able to watch much football. We were able to catch the World Series though, congratulations to the LA Dodgers, I was pulling for the Blue Jays. The best part about being out of town was being with family and close friends. The second best part was not having to watch my Giants lose.

I bounced back somewhat in fantasy, winning in one league losing in the other. CMC Ya Next Season 6-3, Cursed 3-6.

Also, I went 9-5 in picks.

Let’s jump into the recap!

Ravens @ Dolphins 28-6

The Ravens decisively defeated the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football, fueled by the return of QB Lamar Jackson from injury. Jackson threw four touchdown passes, two to tight end Mark Andrews, while the Ravens defense capitalized on multiple Miami turnovers. The Dolphins struggled with miscues and could only manage two field goals, as the Ravens cruised to a comfortable victory.

Fun Fact: Lamar Jackson became just the fourth player in NFL history to throw at least four touchdown passes against the Miami Dolphins in three or more career games, joining Tom Brady, Josh Allen, and Drew Bledsoe.

Falcons @ Patriots 23-24

This was the ONLY game we got in the hotel room. Lame. The Patriots narrowly defeated the Falcons, I mean, whoa.  Atlanta mounted a fierce second-half comeback, fueled by three touchdown passes from Michael Penix Jr. to Drake London, but a missed extra point on the Falcons final touchdown with just over four minutes left proved to be the difference.

Fun Fact: Patriots quarterback Drake Maye extended his franchise record for consecutive games with 200+ passing yards and a 100+ passer rating to eight, surpassing a streak previously held by Patrick Mahomes for players under 24 years old.

Chargers @ Titans 27-20

The Chargers defeated the Titans in a gritty road win. The pivotal moment came when the Chargers defense made a dramatic fourth down goal line stand in the third quarter, which they immediately followed with a 99 yard touchdown drive led by quarterback Justin Herbert. Despite the Titans sacking Herbert six times, the Chargers held on for the win, with Herbert accounting for three total touchdowns.

Fun Fact: The Titans 67-yard punt return touchdown by Chimere Dike was the franchise's first punt return touchdown in nearly 13 years, dating back to December 2012.

Bears @ Bengals 47-42

We were able to see the conclusion of this game while we waited for our flight home. It was a fun one to watch, an absolute offensive shootout that featured two lead changes in the final minute. After the Bears blew a late 14-point lead and surrendered a go-ahead touchdown and onside kick recovery to the Bengals, QB Caleb Williams connected with tight end Colston Loveland for a dramatic 58 yard game winning touchdown with just 17 seconds left. The two teams combined for 89 points and over 1,000 total yards in one of the wildest games of the season.

Fun Fact: On the Bears opening drive, quarterback Caleb Williams caught a two-yard touchdown pass from wide receiver DJ Moore on a trick play. Then there was another trick play where Williams threw a backward pass to back up QB Tyson Bagent, who was lined up as a receiver, and Bagent then threw a forward pass back to Williams for a 20-yard gain. These two trick plays made Williams the first starting quarterback since 1953 to have more than one reception and at least ten completions in a single game.

Colts @ Steelers 20-27

I got this pick wrong… T.J. Watt and the Steelers defense effectively shut down star running back Jonathan Taylor and intercepted quarterback Daniel Jones three times, ultimately scoring 24 points off the Colts miscues. The Colts late comeback effort was halted by the final turnover, sealing a crucial victory for the Steelers at home.

Fun Fact: The six turnovers forced by the Steelers were their highest single-game total since Week 1 of the 2018 season.

49ers @ NY Giants 34-24

I managed to not see a single play of this game. Magical. It’s easier to weather a Giants loss when you don’t know what happened. I do have RB CMC, Christian McCaffrey, on the fantasy team that is killing it so I’m not even mad that we lost this game. I won in my fantasy league. Speaking of CMC, he was unstoppable, accumulating 173 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. The Giants were able to score two touchdowns in garbage time. Jaxson Dart finished the day with one rushing and two passing touchdowns.

Fun Fact: Christian McCaffrey’s performance marked his 16th career game with both a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, breaking a tie with Marshall Faulk for the most such games in NFL history.

Not so Fun Fact: Dart was taken aback Sunday, he’s not used to playing home games where the away team has more fans. He commented that it was "interesting" and admitted, "I've never played at a home game where I felt like it was kind of lopsided in that department."

Broncos @ Texans 18-15

The Broncos seem to only win OR lose games in the last second by a field goal. It happened again. The Broncos won on a walk off field goal to end the game. The Denver defense was the backbone of the win, holding the Texans to five field goals and zero touchdowns despite Houston having five drives reach the Denver 20-yard line or closer, including two goal line stands. QB Bo Nix led the clutch final drive, including a critical 25 yard scramble, to deliver the Broncos their fourth fourth-quarter comeback win in five weeks.

Fun Fact: The Denver Broncos defense became the first team this season to hold an opponent to zero offensive touchdowns while facing five or more red zone attempts.

Vikings @ Lions 27-24

I definitely got this pick wrong. Vikings QB JJ McCarthy threw two touchdowns and ran for another score to give the Vikings a late 24-14 lead, which was threatened only after the Lions mounted a furious comeback to pull within three points. Ultimately, a crucial third-down conversion by McCarthy in the final minutes allowed the Vikings to run out the clock and seal the upset victory.

Fun Fact: Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy became the first Vikings quarterback in franchise history to throw two touchdown passes and run for a touchdown in their first-ever game against the Detroit Lions.

Panthers @ Packers 16-13

I got this pick wrong too! The Panthers defense limited the heavily favored Packers to just one touchdown despite Green Bay making five trips into the red zone, while Carolina's run game, led by Rico Dowdle's 130 yards and two touchdowns, controlled the tempo. Rookie kicker Ryan Fitzgerald secured the shocking victory with a clutch 49-yard field goal as time expired.

Fun Fact: This victory marked the second-largest upset in Carolina Panthers franchise history, as they entered the game as nearly two-touchdown underdogs.

Jaguars @ Raiders 30-29 OT

The Jaguars defeated the Raiders in a wild overtime finish, highlighted by a back and forth second half that saw five lead changes and a last second field goal to force overtime. QB Trevor Lawrence led the game winning drive in overtime, scoring on a 1 yard run.

Fun Fact: Jaguars kicker Cam Little broke the NFL record for the longest field goal with a 68-yard kick at the end of the first half, surpassing Justin Tucker's previous record of 66 yards.

Saints @ Rams 10-34

Honestly, this game was so lopsided that I’m just going to share the fun fact with you.

Fun Fact: The Los Angeles Rams set an NFL season-high for time of possession in this game, holding the ball for an incredible 43 minutes and 53 seconds compared to the Saints mere 16 minutes and 7 seconds.

Chiefs @ Bills 21-28

LET’S GO BUFFALO!!!!! The Bills defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in a tightly contested rivalry game, driven by a nearly flawless performance from quarterback Josh Allen, who accounted for three touchdowns. The Bills defense was instrumental, pressuring Patrick Mahomes throughout the game and securing a key late game interception to snuff the Chiefs fourth quarter comeback. Though Kansas City rallied to make it a one score game, Buffalo's run game and ball control allowed them to secure the clock draining victory.

Fun Fact: Bills quarterback Josh Allen set a new franchise record for completion percentage in a single game (minimum 15 attempts), completing 23 of 26 passes for an incredible 88.5%.

Seahawks @ Commanders 38-14

The Seahawks jumped out to a commanding 31-7 halftime lead. The win was costly for Washington, however, as QB Jayden Daniels exited the game late in the fourth quarter with an elbow injury, possibly ending his season.

Fun Fact: Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold completed his first 17 passes of the game, tying a Seattle franchise record for consecutive completions.

Cardinals @ Cowboys 27-17

The Cardinals snapped a five game losing streak by defeating the Cowboys on Monday Night Football, dominating the game with efficient offense and key defensive stops. YouTubeTV subscribers wouldn’t know because the richest people in the world seem to need more money, because money. Translation, ESPN, which is owned by Disney, is still unavailable on YouTubeTV because of contract negotiations. I’m so sick and tired of the rich getting richer while the rest of us can’t even watch football when we want!

Anyway, Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett, filling in for an injured Kyler Murray, managed the game effectively with two touchdown passes and a rushing score, repeatedly connecting with Marvin Harrison Jr. The Cowboys offense struggled severely in the red zone, turning the ball over on downs multiple times and never truly threatening to take the lead.

Fun Fact: Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey attempted a 68-yard field goal at the end of the first half, which would have tied the all-time NFL record set just the day before, but the kick sailed wide left.

WEEK 10

Thursday, November 6th

Raiders (2-6) @ Broncos (7-2) (8:15pm PRIME VIDEO)

Let’s just say I’ll be more surprised if the Broncos don’t win. I’m picking Denver to win this game.

Sunday, November 9th

Falcons (3-5) @ Colts (7-2) (9:30am NFLN, NFL+)

This game is being played at the Olympiastadion Berlin (Olympic Stadium) in Berlin, Germany. This historic venue, originally built for the 1936 Summer Olympics, is also the home of the German football club Hertha BSC and will be hosting an NFL regular-season game for the very first time. The Colts are favorites going into this game, but being played overseas, anything is possible. I am picking the Colts to beat the Falcons.

Browns (2-6) @ Jets (1-7) (1pm CBS)

I see the record of both teams. The Jets just traded Sauce Gardner, who was their entire defense in my opinion. Therefore, I am picking the Browns to win this game.

Jaguars (5-3) @ Texans (3-5) (1pm CBS)

With C.J. Stroud already ruled out with a concussion this Sunday I am going to pick the Jags to win..

Bills (7-2) @ Dolphins (2-7)  (1pm CBS)

The Dolphins parted ways with Chris Grier, who had been their General Manager since 2016 and had been with the organization since 2000 after the loss last week. The Dolphins are in big trouble. The Bills should win this game easily. Don’t look past this game Buffalo! I’m rooting for and picking the Bills to win this game. LET’S GO BUFFALO! GO BILLS!

Patriots (7-2) @ Buccaneers (6-2) (1pm CBS)

The Bucs are coming off their bye week but they are still pretty banged up. They have home field advantage and Baker wills them to win most games, but the Patriots are scary good this season. I’m going against better judgement and picking the Bucs to win this game.

NY Giants (2-7) @ Bears (5-3) (1pm FOX)

We’ll find a way to lose this game too. I’ll be rooting for the Giants but picking the Bears to win this game. Go G-Men!

Ravens (3-5) @ Vikings (4-4)  (1pm FOX)

With Lamar Jackson back under center it’s going to be hard for me to pick against the Ravens. They made a statement last week and I think they’ll do it again this week. I am picking the Ravens to beat the Vikings in this game of the Purple People Eaters.

Saints (1-8) @ Panthers (5-4)  (1pm FOX)

The Panthers have continued to shock me this season. The Saints traded away their second best wide receiver this past week so I’m counting them out. I’m picking the Panthers to win this game.

Cardinals (3-5) @ Seahawks (6-2) (4:05pm CBS)

In a game of angry birds I am taking the Seahawks to win this one. The Cardinals have placed QB Kylar Murray on IR so they'll be going with Jacoby Brissett. I’m still picking the Seahawks to win this game, who acquired Rashid Shaheed from the Saints this week.

Lions (5-3) @ Commanders (3-6) (4:25pm FOX)

Even though the Lions lost a divisional game last week I think they’ll bounce back and beat the Commanders this week. The Commanders season is over without their starting QB Jayden Daniels. I’m rooting for and picking the Lions to win this game.

Rams (6-2) @ 49ers (6-3) (4:25pm FOX)

The 49ers are underdogs at home per Vegas oddsmakers. They are pretty beat up but they won last week so they’ve got that going for them. I just hope this is a high scoring game because I have players on both teams in fantasy that I need points from. I’m going against the odds and picking the 49ers to win this game.

Steelers (5-3) @ Chargers (6-3) (8:20pm NBC)

I need a big Chargers game for fantasy purposes, therefore I am picking the Chargers to win this game. Also, also, I like seeing Aaron Rodgers lose.

Monday, November 10th

Eagles (6-2) @ Packers (5-2-1) (8:15pm ABC, ESPN)

The Eagles are coming off their bye and the Packers are coming off a humiliating home loss to the Panthers. I’ll be rooting for the Packers but the Eagles are favored to win this game. I’m picking the Eagles to win the game.

BYE WEEK: Bengals, Cowboys, Titans, Chiefs

GO G-MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the edit Eric!
