The Shenoa Report Week 4 '18

The Shenoa Report
September 27, 2018
Regular Season Week 4

This is the world we live in. The Browns have a better record than the Patriots and the Dolphins are undefeated. I’ll give you a moment to let that all sink in.  The Rams, Chiefs, and Dolphins are the only teams still undefeated. I am 1-2 in my league and I really don’t want to talk about it.  I went 8-6 on my picks, damn ties. The Giants won, I didn’t see that coming, so that lessened the pain of my fantasy loss a little bit.

Let’s recap week three.

Jets @ Browns 17-21
The Browns won! The Browns won! Unlock the coolers! Dilly Dilly! This was their first win in 635 days!

Saints @ Falcons 43-37 OT
The Falcons crumbled late while the Saints finished strong as Drew Brees ran in a touchdown in overtime to beat the Falcons.

49ers @ Chiefs 27-38
This game was very costly for the 49ers. Not only did they lose the game they also lost quarterback, Jimmy G who will be out for the rest of the season due to injury. In other news, the Chiefs have found their franchise QB Patrick Mahomes, who continues to wow his audience and critics with his accuracy and touchdown passes.

Raiders @ Dolphins 20-28
The Dolphins are still undefeated. It’s crazy but true. Jon Gruden, Raiders head coach, still hasn’t figured out how to lead his team to victory.

Bills @ Vikings 27-6
I think the Vikings thought they were playing the 4 o’clock game and just forgot to show up to their scheduled game. Kirk Cousins, my fantasy quarterback, is to be blamed for my loss this week, as well as the Vikings loss. It was terrible to watch. I’m happy and surprised for Bills fans though. Sunday was a crazy football day.

Colts @ Eagles 16-20
With Wenz back under center the Eagles were able to win again. The Colts struggled along with Luck only making short passes and bringing in the backup QB to launch a hail mary down the field in hopes of winning the game. Not good for Luck’s self-esteem. Might he not really be ready to come back if he can’t throw the deep ball?

Packers @ Redskins 17-31
With Aaron not 100% and Clay Matthews getting bs roughing the QB penalties it was impossible for the Packers to win. I have to hand it to Alex Smith and AP for their great performances on the other side of the ball.

Bengals @ Panthers 21-31
It’s pretty hard to lose when your QB throws two touchdowns and runs two in. Way to go Cam and the rest of Carolina. I knew that the Bengals wouldn’t go 3-0.

Titans @ Jaguars 9-6
I should’ve played the Titans defense. This was a close game and both defenses were stellar.

Broncos @ Ravens 14-27
The Ravens were able to penetrate the Broncos defense and the Broncos offense couldn’t keep up.

NY Giants @ Texans 27-22
Holy Moly! The Giants won! The Giants won! I was able to watch some of the game while working at the winery and it was sooooo nice to look up and see a decent Giants team! Eli had a good game, Barkley had a good game, we had an O line actually show up, and OBJ was, well, OBJ!

Chargers @ Rams 28-35
Same old story, if you have Todd Gurley you have a winning team.

Bears @ Cardinals 16-14
It was the Bears defense and kicker that won the game for Chicago.

Cowboys @ Seahawks 13-24
The Seahawks finally figured out how to win and just in time! Sorry not sorry, Cowboys.

Patriots @ Lions 10-26
This game was great to watch! Matt Patricia knew all of the Patriots’ tricks and was able to beat them at their own game. It must have been a pretty humbling experience for Bill Belichick.

Steelers @ Buccaneers 30-27
Fitzmagic went back to Fitzpatrick after throwing three interceptions and then back to Fitzmagic leading a comeback at the end of the game. But that damage was already done and the Steelers won the game. Not on the account of their kicker, that’s for sure.

WEEK 4

Thursday September 27th

Vikings [1-1-1] @ Rams [3-0] (8:20pm NFL Network)
This should be a good game, especially if the Vikings show up this week. Last year they were the only team to contain Gurley, we’ll see if they can do the same this season. I’m picking the Rams to win this game, I just hope Kirk Cousins has a way better game than last week.

Sunday September 30th

Bills [1-2] @ Packers [1-1-1] (1pm CBS)
Even though the Bills beat the Vikings last week and the Packers lost, I’m still picking the Packers to win this game.

Bengals [2-1] @ Falcons [1-2] (1pm CBS)
Both teams lost last week and I’m picking the Falcons to rebound.

Buccaneers [2-1] @ Bears [2-1] (1pm FOX)
Do we know who is starting for the Bucs? Will it be Winston or Fitzpatrick? I’m picking the Bears to win.

Eagles [2-1] @ Titans [2-1] (1pm FOX)
I have the Titans defense so I am hoping they win this game. I’m hesitantly picking the Titans for the win.

Lions [1-2] @ Cowboys [1-2] (1pm FOX)
I’m picking the Lions to win this game. They are riding high after beating the Pats last week.

Jets [1-2] @ Jaguars [2-1] (1pm FOX)
I’m picking the Jags to win this game. I still think that they are the better team.

Texans [0-3] @ Colts [1-2] (1pm CBS)
I’m picking the Colts to win this divisional game.

Dolphins [3-0] @ Patriots [1-2] (1pm CBS)
Even though the Dolphins are undefeated I don’t think that the Pats will lose three in a row; though that would be awesome. I’ll be rooting for the Dolphins but picking the Pats for the win.

Browns [1-1-1] @ Raiders [0-3] (4:05pm FOX)
Can the Browns continue their win streak or will the Raiders get their first win of the season? I’m picking the Raiders to get their first win. I’m not sure why.

Seahawks [1-2] @ Cardinals [0-3] (4:05pm FOX)
I’m picking the Seahawks to win and I hope Carson has a really good game as well as Dissley as they are both starting on my fantasy team this week.

49ers [1-2] @ Chargers [1-2] (4:25pm CBS)
The 49ers are without their star QB so I am picking the Chargers to win this game.

Saints [2-1]  @ NY Giants [1-2] (4:25pm CBS)
I mean, I’d like to pick the Giants for the win. They played a really good game last Sunday. I think they are improving. The Saints defense isn’t great I’m going to pick the Giants for the win. Don’t let me regret this decision GMEN!

Ravens [2-1] @ Steelers [1-1-1] (8:20pm NBC)
The Ravens always seem to fall apart when they play the Steelers. Therefore, I’m going to pick the Steelers at home.

Monday October 1st

Chiefs [3-0] @ Broncos [2-1] (8:15pm ESPN)
The Chiefs are on fire and I don’t think that the Broncos can snuff the flame. I’m going to pick the Chiefs to win Monday night.

BYES: Redskins, Panthers

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Eric!

The Shenoa Report Week 3 '18 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
September 20, 2018
Regular Season Week 3

Eric and I made it back safely from Burlington! It was an amazing trip, and we can’t wait to return, though we have enough beer to last the winter so it won’t be anytime soon.
I was talking to my coworker the other day about the undefeated teams left in the NFL after week two. After reading her the list, she decided to go play in traffic. I’ll share the list with you now : Broncos, Packers, Rams, Chiefs, Jaguars, Vikings, Dolphins, and Buccaneers! What is this world we live in? I know I’m pretty miffed about it. At least this should be an exciting season. My fantasy team is not one of those undefeated teams, I am 1-1 in my league because AJ Green had THREE flippin TDs. Ahhhhhhhhh! I went 8-5-1 on my picks, damn ties. The Giants let me down, yet again. I shouldn’t be surprised; the past five out of six seasons they have started 0-2. At least I’m not a Bills fan, where they had a player retire at HALF TIME of their last game

Let’s recap week two.

Ravens @ Bengals 23-24
Do I even need to mention AJ Green’s three flippin touchdowns again? Son of a monkey's uncle. Who knew the Ginger could complete a pass multiple times.

Chargers @ Bills 31-20
At least the Bills scored this game? I mean, you know it’s bad when Cornerback Vontae Davis of the Bills decided to retire at half and just leave the game, forever.

Panthers @ Falcons 24-31
I was right, the Panthers are just not the same team without Greg Olson. The Falcons played harder and came out on top. Even Matt Ryan had more rushing touchdowns than Cam. #sorrynotsorry

Vikings @ Packers 29-29 OT
Well, I said that if Aaron Rodgers played that the Packers wouldn’t lose I wasn’t wrong. In the second week in a row the NFL has had a game end in a tie.The Vikings kicker also lost his job after not being able to win the game for Minnesota in OT.  In other news, it’s nice to have a QB in Fantasy that can really thread the needle! Thanks Cousins!

Texans @ Titans 17-20
Poor Texans. I really thought as banged up as the Titans were they would lose this game but Mr. Irrelevant kicked the game winning field goal with one minute left to put the Titans on top.

Browns @ Saints 18-21
Your team is only as good as your kicker and this proved true for the Browns. Cleveland could have won this game but their kicker couldn’t put the ball between the uprights to save his life, or his job So close Brownies. So close.

Dolphins @ Jets 20-12
The Jets didn’t win but they did do well enough defensively and that’s all I needed in fantasy. Sure, my team still lost, but at least I can’t blame it on the Jets.

Chiefs @ Steelers 42-37
Man oh man, I do enjoy when a team beats the Steelers. Rookie Patrick Mahomes threw six touchdowns to defeat the Steelers. If only four of those passes we to Tyreek Hill, I might have won at fantasy this week

Eagles @ Buccaneers 21-27
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Is it too early to call a Super Bowl hangover? You know it’s bad when Fitzpatrick, who they are calling Fitzmagic, beats you I wasn’t sad to get this pick wrong.

Colts @ Redskins 21-9
YAAAAAY COLTS! Just another pick I’m glad I got wrong. The Giants need ALL the help they can get and it helped that both the Eagles and Redskins lost this week. Dare I say Luck is back for the Colts?

Cardinals @ Rams 0-34
Poor Cardinals, and holy Rams batman. The Rams may be the best team in the NFL. I mean you would be too if you had Todd Gurley.

Lions @ 49ers 27-30
Garoppolo got his groove back and finally got a win this season.

Raiders @ Broncos 19-20
It was a comeback win by the Broncos in the last minutes of the game but it was enough. And they won by the hair on their chinny chin chins.

Patriots @ Jaguars 20-31
One of my favorite games of the day. I watched with glee as the Jags took down the Pats!

NY Giants @ Cowboys 13-20
I don’t even know where to begin. Ultimately, I’m disappointed, in the O line mostly, or lack thereof. This should have been an easy game to win, especially after the Jags game last week. Yes, we lost our center, Jon Halapio, with a season ending injury, but that can’t take the blame for the entire game. The O line has got to step up or at least exist! This is not Eli’s fault as much as a lot of people would like to place the blame on him. Dear Giants, please don’t make this another long hard season to watch. I’ll have to start calling you B-lite as in Buffalo lite if you continue this way. Also, the Jets have a better record than we do. That’s terrible. Man up!!!

Seahawks @ Bears 17-24
The Bears won with two words, Khalil Mack. The Bears defense dominated while the Seahawks pittered. This was a fun game to watch, and I’m sure the Giants are kicking themselves after letting go of Prince Amukamara after he caught a pick 6 to help the Bears defense win the game.

WEEK 3

Thursday September 20th

Jets [1-1] @ Browns [0-1-1] (8:20pm NFL Network)
Maybe this game will end in another tie? I don’t feel comfortable picking either team for the win. I mean I want the Browns to win a game but at the same time I have the Jets defense so I want the Jets to have a good game Ahhhh. Who to pick? I’m going to pick the Jets to win, only for selfish reasons.

Sunday September 23rd

Saints [1-1] @ Falcons [1-1] (1pm FOX)
I’m picking the Falcons to win, but it’ll be a high scoring game for sure.

49ers [1-1] @ Chiefs [2-0] (1pm FOX)
I’m picking the Chiefs to win. This should also be a high scoring game. How many TDs will Mahomes get this week? Hopefully at least 4 to Hill alone. Fingers crossed.

Raiders [0-2] @ Dolphins [2-0] (1pm CBS)
The Raiders defense is struggling, go figure, after letting Khalil Mack go. I’m going to pick the Dolphins to win this game.

Bills [0-2] @ Vikings [1-0-1] (1pm CBS)
HAH! I’m picking the Vikings to throttle the Bills.

Colts [1-1] @ Eagles [1-1] (1pm FOX)
I’d love to see the Colts win, but Wentz is back so I am going to have to pick the Eagles for the win.

Packers [1-0-1] @ Redskins [1-1] (1pm FOX)
Aaron is still not 100% but I am still going to have to pick Green Bay to win this game.

Bengals [2-0] @ Panthers [1-1] (1pm CBS)
I think the Bengals get their first loss of the season. At least the weather should be nice with Carolina Blue Skies.

Titans [1-1] @ Jaguars [2-0] (1pm CBS)
I’m picking the Jags to win their 3rd game.

Broncos [2-0] @ Ravens [1-1] (1pm CBS)
I think that the Ravens will win this game.

NY Giants [0-2] @ Texans [0-2] (1pm FOX)
Well, one team is probably going to be 0-3 after this game. I’m thinking it’ll probably be the Giants. Where are my knitting needles?

Chargers [1-1] @ Rams [2-0] (4:05pm CBS)
I’m picking the Rams. No brainer.

Bears [1-1]  @ Cardinals [0-2] (4:25pm FOX)
I’m picking the Bears.

Cowboys [1-1] @ Seahawks [0-2]  (4:25pm FOX)
Maybe the Seahawks will win? I’m not sure. I think I’ll pick them just so I don’t have to pick the Cowboys.

Patriots [1-1] @ Lions [0-2] (8:20pm NBC)
Matt Patricia will be reunited with the Pats This will be an interesting game to watch. Will the Lions and Patricia be able to beat the Pats? I think that the Pats will win. I’m not rooting for them and I think it’ll be rather comical if they lose to the Lions.

Monday September 24th

Steelers [0-1-1] @ Buccaneers [2-0] (8:15pm ESPN)
I’m picking the Bucs. Hopefully Fitzpatrick will still be plenty magical.

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Eric!

The Shenoa Report Week 2 '18 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
September 13, 2018
Regular Season Week 2

This week I am writing you from Burlington, VT! Eric and I finally got to take a vacation. After a day of going to breweries I am sitting down to write the Shenoa Report. I am always surprised after the first week of the regular season though I went 9-5-1 on my picks! The “1” is for the Browns NOT LOSING! They tied the Steelers in overtime. I guess “Hardknocks” paid off for Cleveland. I mean, at least they didn’t lose. Week one came with so many injuries. I know that I am now without a #1 TE in fantasy after week one and I am not the only one that suffered a loss. Keanu Neal, Saftey, Falcons, Delanie Walker, TE, Marcus Mariota, QB, Taylor Lewan, OT, Titans,  DeSean Jackson, WR, Buccaneers, Greg Olsen, TE, Panthers, Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars, Trae Waynes, CB, Vikings, Sentrel Henderson, OT, Texans, Randy Gregoryk, DE, Cowboys, Joe Haden, CB, Steelers, and Jeremy Hill, RB, Patriots all suffered injuries in week one, some of them season ending. Despite injuries, I am 1-0 in my fantasy league. The Giants let me down, but after last season I am already used to it so it didn’t phase me as much as it did last year.

Let’s recap week one.

Falcons @ Eagles 12-18
This game was pretty ugly like a typical Thursday night football game. The Eagles used some of the same tricks as they did in the Super Bowl to beat the Falcons like, Nick Foles playing wide receiver for one play and catching a pass.

Bills @ Ravens 3-47
So, ummmm. Sorry Bills fans… I didn’t really watch this game because every time I changed the channel back to this game Baltimore scored. I somehow thought if I stopped checking up on the Bills they would do better. They did not and now we are going to have to hear Ray Lewis talking about how amazing the Ravens are. Did you know that Ray Lewis played for the Baltimore Ravens? Let’s just say if you played a drinking game while watching “Inside the NFL” on Showtime and had to drink every time Ray Lewis said he played for the Ravens you might not be able to stand up by the end of the show.

Texans @ Patriots 20-27
Deshawn Watson didn’t have a game that Texans were hoping for. He stuttered in his return and even though the score looked close enough the game never seemed to be in Houston’s reach.

Jaguars @ NY Giants 20-15
Unfortunately, I was right. The Giants still have a lot of growing to do. They had bursts of greatness but they also made a lot of stupid mistakes. Holding on offense, muffed punts, stupid penalties.  Eli, on the other hand, didn’t look too shabby. It was great having OBJ back and catching passes! Saquan got a slow start but did have a rushing touchdown, which made me super happy. I blame myself for his slow start, as it wasn’t until after I put on my Barkley jersey and football leggings that Saquan started to get into the swing of things.

Buccaneers @ Saints 48-40
Ryan Fitzpatrick threw 4 touchdowns, not interceptions to help the Bucs beat the Saints in week one. Yes, you read that sentence correctly. Ryan Fitzpatrick, I know, it’s crazy. I think it’s a fluke.

Bengals @ Colts 34-23
The Colts looked like they were going to win the game until the Ginger showed up and brought the Bengals to a late victory.

49ers @ Vikings 16-24
Garoppolo lost his first game in the NFL, throwing a couple of interceptions to the Vikings. Cousins, on the other hand, had a great debut in Minnesota.  It was hard for me to root for Kirk, but I have to being that he’s my starting QB in fantasy.

Steelers @ Browns 21-21 OT
After an entire season of winless games the Cleveland Browns started this season undefeated, with a tie. Hey, at least it’s not a loss. Now the Steelers are the team that has to live with not being able to beat the Browns this season.  It was an ugly game, in the rain and high winds, but very entertaining to watch.

Titans @ Dolphins 20-27
This was easily the longest game of the day. Starting at 1pm and not ending till after 8pm.  Delays for lightning stretched this game out and when they were actually able to play it turned out very costly for the Titans who had 3 injuries, some season ending.

Redskins @ Cardinals 24-6
Alex Smith looked right at home in a Redskins uniform, in other news the Cardinals looked terrible.

Chiefs @ Chargers 38-28
Tyreek Hill had 3 touchdowns in the Chiefs win over the Chargers. Of course, in my stupid league I only got points for 2 of the touchdowns because one of them was a punt return for a touchdown. Not that I’m bitter about it or anything. I hope Hill continues to have 3 touchdown games throughout the season. Patrick Mahomes had four touchdowns and looks to be ready to take on the position of starting quarterback.

Cowboys @ Panthers 8-16
Carolina ran all over the Cowboys Sunday, even with the loss of Greg Olson for the season. I hope their backup does just as well for the rest of the season, as I picked him up after losing my TE to season ending injury.  Dallas never really looked like a threat, which bodes really well for this Giants fan.

Seahawks @ Broncos 24-27
The legion of boom is now more like the legion of boo. The Seahawks were no match for the Broncos as the defense knocked around Russell Wilson with sacks and fumbles to boot.

Bears @ Packers 23-24
The Bears had this game. Aaron Rodgers went out on a cart with an injury in the first half only to return in the second half and win the game for Green Bay.

Jets @ Lions 48-17
Even though the Jets rookie QB Sam Darnold threw a pick 6 with his very first career pass the Jets bounced back and routed the Lions in this unlikely game on Monday night.

Rams @ Raiders 33-13
There was a lot of speculation with the Rams starters sitting out the entire preseason but it seemed to work when they stomped the Raiders and ruined Jon Gruden’s coaching return.

WEEK 2

Thursday September 13th

Ravens @ Bengals (8:20pm NFL)
The Ravens should be able to beat the Bengals judging by their annihilation of the Bills last week. I’m picking the Ravens for the win.

Sunday September 16th

Chargers @ Bills (1pm CBS)
The Bills have some serious work to do. I’m going to have to pick the Chargers for the win until the Bills can at least find the field in a football game.

Panthers @ Falcons (1pm FOX)
I think that with Greg Olson out for the unforeseen future the Panthers are going to be a little off kilter. I’m going to pick the Falcons to win because they are still pretty angry about losing to the Eagles in week one.

Vikings @ Packers (1pm FOX)
Aaron Rodgers is still questionable coming into this game. If he plays the whole game I’m picking the Packers to win. If Aaron can’t play I’m picking the Vikings to win. Ultimately I’m picking the Packers to win.

Texans @ Titans (1pm CBS)
With all the injuries the Titans sustained in week one I’m going to have to pick the Texans to win this game. I also think I’m going to have to find another defense in fantasy. (I currently have the Titans defense)

Browns @ Saints (1pm FOX)
I’m predicting that the Browns get their first loss of the season.

Dolphins @ Jets (1pm CBS)
After last week’s win we’ll see if it was just a fluke or real life. I’m picking the Jets to beat the Dolphins.

Chiefs @ Steelers (1pm CBS)
I think I’m going to pick the Chiefs to win, as long as Bell continues his hold out.

Eagles @ Buccaneers (1pm FOX)
I’m picking the Eagles to win because I think the Bucs week one win was a freak win.

Colts @ Redskins (1pm CBS)
I’m picking the Redskins to win. Alex Smith is great.

Cardinals @ Rams (4:05pm FOX)
I’m picking the Rams to win. I don’t think that the Cardinals have a chance.

Lions @ 49ers (4:05pm FOX)
I’m picking the 49ers to win. I think they will work out their kinks.

Raiders @ Broncos (4:25pm CBS)
Denver surprised me last week and I think they will also win their home opener.

Patriots @ Jaguars (4:25pm CBS)
Without Fournette I don’t think that the Jags will beat the Pats. I mean I hope they do but I’m picking the Pats for the win.

NY Giants @ Cowboys (8:20pm NBC)
If, and only if, the Giants can fix their stupid mistakes I think they can beat the Cowboys. I’m going to pick the Giants to win this game. GO GMEN!!!!

Monday September 17th

Seahawks @ Bears (8:15pm ESPN)
The Seahawks are starting the season with a lot of injuries. I can’t believe I’m doing this, but I’m going to pick the Bears to win.

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Eric!

The Shenoa Report Week 1 '18 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
September 5, 2018
Regular Season Week 1

IT’S HERE! IT’S HERE! THE FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!!!!! And you know what that means; the Shenoa Report is back as well!!! Are you ready for some football?!?! If you’re a first time reader, welcome! And if you’re a loyal follower welcome back, I’ve missed you. I started this blog eight years ago after a number of people asked me for my opinion on football and what teams they should root for. Please know that I am very biased, and this report is just my opinion!

The last time I wrote, the Eagles and the Patriots were headed to the Super Bowl.  If you were like me you were very confused on whom to root for. I ended up being ok with the outcome of the game. Hopefully it’ll be the last time I’ll actually be ok with rooting for the Eagles.  I mean, if it makes Jim Beaty happy, it was worth an Eagles win. Now we know the Pats kryptonite is an NFC East team in the Super Bowl!

As you may know, I won my fantasy league last year. This year I couldn’t make it to the live draft so I sent Eric! He picked an amazing team and we should be contenders again this season. I decided to just focus on one league this year so I dropped the other one.

I also changed jobs in the off season and am no longer teaching. I am now one of the Tasting Room Managers at a local winery and I am also bartending now and then at a local tavern. I love my new jobs and am far less stressed and much happier! Also, an added plus, if I’m working during a football game I know it’ll be on in the background!

Football starts Thursday, so let’s get back to it!

Lets see who’s playing whom in week one!!!!!

WEEK 1

Thursday September 6th

Falcons @ Eagles (8:20pm NBC)
Wentz will not be starting this game for the Eagles, Foles will… Will the Eagles suffer from a Super Bowl hangover? I’m picking the Eagles to start their season with a win, I’ll be rooting for the Falcons though.

Sunday September 9th

Bills @ Ravens (1pm CBS)
The Bills got rid of Taylor in the off season and will be starting a no-named QB, actually his name is Peterman but I don’t know him… I’m picking the Ravens for the win.

Texans @ Patriots (1pm CBS)
Deshawn Watson will be starting for the Texans. I’d love to see them win. I’ll be rooting for them but picking the Pats to win this game.

Jaguars @ NY Giants (1pm FOX)
Oh man, I want the Giants to win and I’ll be rooting for them, no doubt, but after last season I’d be a fool not to pick the Jags to win this game. Rooting for the Giants, picking the Jags. Man I hope I’m wrong.

Buccaneers @ Saints (1pm FOX)
I’m picking the Saints to win this game for no better reason than they are a more solid team than the Bucs.

Bengals @ Colts (1pm CBS)
Andrew Luck is “back” for the Colts. They were terrible without him this past season. I’m picking the Bengals to ruin the Colts home opener.

49ers @ Vikings (1pm FOX)
Garoppolo hasn’t lost a game in the NFL. The Vikings are going with Cousins as their QB. I’m hoping the Vikings hand Garoppolo his first loss. I’m picking the Vikings to win

Steelers @ Browns (1pm CBS)
Eric and I have been watching Hardknocks this season and I now have a soft spot for the Browns. I’ll be rooting for them but picking the Steelers to win this game.

Titans @ Dolphins (1pm FOX)
I’m picking the Titans to win the game. There were on the up and up last season as the Dolphins were on the down and out.

Redskins @ Cardinals (4:25pm FOX)
I’m picking the Cardinals to win this game. It’s going to be hard to root against Alex Smith.

Chiefs @ Chargers (4:05pm CBS)
I’m picking the Chargers to win their home opener. It may seem like I have a crush on Alex Smith but man, I am going to miss him in a Chiefs uniform. Also, I have Keenan Allen on my fantasy team so I hope that the Chargers have a really good day!

Cowboys @ Panthers (4:25pm FOX)
I’m picking the Panthers to win, mostly because I am not willing to pick the Cowboys, Dak is my backup QB for a reason.

Seahawks @ Broncos (4:25pm FOX)
I’m picking the Seahawks to spoil the Broncos home opener. Here’s to Chris Carson having a GREAT game!

Bears @ Packers (8:20pm NBC)
What will Aaron look like after his injury last season? The Bears now have Khalil Mack… I’m picking the Packers.

Monday September 10th

Jets @ Lions (7:10pm ESPN)
I’m picking the Lions to win. The Jets just don’t have it this season, and a rookie QB to boot.

Rams @ Raiders (10:15pm ESPN)
I’m picking the Rams to win. This will be an interesting game to watch if you can stay awake. Chucky won’t be commentating, rather coaching this game for the Raiders. Like I said, it’ll be interesting.

Happy Week One!!!!!

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Eric!
