Regular Season Week 11
I’m feeling better
than I did last week but I am still out of work recovering from my stay at the
hospital. I’m a little discouraged that it is taking so long, but I’d rather be
on these yucky, ridiculously strong meds than need surgery. I’m also having
really crazy dreams, like last night I dreamt that the NY Giants beat the KC
Chiefs. I know, I know, crazy. I did
much better on my picks and in fantasy after my bye week. I went 12-2 on my
picks and I bounced back in both of my fantasy leagues, knocking off the only
undefeated team in one of my leagues. My records are 6-4 and 5-5….
Let’s
recap week ten.
Seahawks @
Cardinals 22-16
This game was
pretty decent to watch, if you had sunglasses. Those Seattle uniforms were too
bright! Who ever game up with the idea of a “color out” for Thursday night
football should be slapped right across the face. Maybe knock some sense into
him. Anyway, the game was all right to watch.
Saints @ Bills 47-10
My
uncle texted me before this game asking if the Bills could pull off the win. I
said they “could” but I wouldn’t count on it. The Saints slaughtered the Bills.
Browns @ Lions 24-38
This
shouldn’t come as any surprise. The Lions let the Browns feel good in the first
half and then came back and played in the second half, winning the game.
Packers @ Bears 23-16
This
game was one of two picks that I got wrong last week. The Bears should have won
that game. I think it was a Bears touchdown. The ball hit the pylon, that’s a
touchdown; also the ground can’t cause a fumble.
Steelers @ Colts 20-17
The
Steelers shouldn’t have won this game. They played like crap for 55 minutes. It
was hard to watch.
Bengals @ Titans 20-24
The Titans
are doing well this season. It is their best start since the 2008 season, it also
helps that they are playing mediocre teams.
Jets @ Buccaneers 10-15
It must
have felt weird for Jets fans to see Ryan Fitzpatrick win a game at Metlife and
then remember that he plays for the other team.
Vikings @ Redskins 38-30
The
Vikings are legit. Sorry, not sorry, Redskins fans.
Chargers @ Jaguars 17-20 OT
This
was a sloppy, sloppy game that extended into overtime and somehow the Jags
pulled off the win.
Texans @ Rams 7-33
Apparently,
the Rams just needed to move to L.A. to win, and man oh man, they are on a
roll.
Cowboys @ Falcons 7-27
Zeke
couldn’t help the Cowboys and the Cowboys couldn’t help themselves. The Falcons walked all over them; it was nice
to watch.
NY Giants @ 49ers 21-31
I’m SO
GLAD we were able to help another team get their first win of the season!!!
[Insert sarcasm here]
Patriots @ Broncos 41-16
Hey
Tom, if you are going to run up the score like that can you at least throw a TD
pass to Danny Amendola and help a girl and her fantasy team out?!!! In other
news, the Broncos are terrible this year.
Dolphins @ Panthers 21-45
Cam is
my fantasy QB so it’s ok for him to run up the score. It was nice to see the
Panthers play well for pretty much the first time this season.
WEEK 11
Thursday, November
16th
Titans (6-3) @
Steelers (7-2) [8:25pm NBC]
I’m picking the
Steelers.
Sunday, November
119th
Chiefs (6-3) @ NY Giants (1-8) [1pm CBS]
I’m
picking the Chiefs even though I dreamt that the Giants would win this game.
Jaguars (6-3) @ Browns (0-9) [1pm CBS]
I’m
picking the Jags.
Lions (5-4) @ Bears (3-6) [1pm FOX]
I’m
picking the Lions.
Ravens (4-5) @ Packers (5-4) [1pm CBS]
The
Ravens should be well rested coming off their bye but I’m still going to pick
the Packers to win.
Buccaneers (3-6) @ Dolphins (4-5) [1pm FOX]
I’m
picking the Dolphins to win.
Rams (7-2) @ Vikings (7-2) [1pm FOX]
This
should be a good game. I’m going to take the Vikings with their home field
advantage.
Redskins (4-5) @ Saints (7-2) [1pm FOX]
I’m
picking the Saints to win.
Cardinals (4-5) @ Texans (3-6) [1pm FOX]
It’ll
really depend on which defense show up. I’m going to pick the Cardinals to win.
Bills (5-4) @ Chargers (3-6) [4:05pm FOX]
I’m
going to pick the Chargers to win. The Bills are benching Taylor, their
starting QB, it’s non-injury related…
Bengals (3-6) @ Broncos (3-6) [4:25pm CBS]
Maybe
the Broncos will win at home, that’s my pick.
Patriots (7-2) @ Raiders (4-5) [4:25pm CBS]
This
game will be played at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. I’m going to pick the
Pats to win.
Eagles (8-1) @ Cowboys (5-4) [8:30pm NBC]
I’m
picking the Eagles to win.
Monday, November 20th
Falcons (5-4) @ Seahawks (6-3) [8:30pm ESPN]
I’m picking the Seahawks to win.
BYE: Colts, Jets, 49ers, Panthers
GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Eric!!!!!
