The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 13 '17 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
November 30, 2017
Regular Season Week 13

As a Giants fan, I can’t even. I didn’t even want to write this report this week, but here I am. I am also still on IR having not receiving the greatest news at the doctors earlier this week. I will continue to stay positive and know that in the end everything will work out.
I went 14-2 on my picks but lost in both of my fantasy leagues. My records are 7-5 and 5-7….

Let’s recap week twelve.

Vikings @ Lions 30-23
I wasn’t much help on Thanksgiving in my weakened state so I had the excuse of lying on the couch and watching football. This game was good. Very exciting.

Chargers @ Cowboys 28-6
I thought that this game was also fun to watch, any game in which the Cowboys lose is a fun game to watch.

NY Giants @ Redskins 10-20
I didn’t expect the Giants to win, but I had hoped…. CRUSHED

Bills @ Chiefs 16-10
The Bills really surprised me - and a lot of KC fans too.

Panthers @ Jets 35-27
I thought the Panthers were going to give this game to the Jets but as it turns out the Jets gave the game to the Panthers.

Buccaneers @ Falcons 20-34
That was a no brainer. Now that Julio Jones is actually scoring the Falcons look a little bit more dangerous.

Browns @ Bengals 16-30
I should have picked the Ginger as my QB over Cam in fantasy… things would have ended better.

Titans @ Colts 20-16
This is the first time the Titans won at Lucas Oil Stadium; they’ve only had 10 tries. Good job Titans!

Dolphins @ Patriots 17-35
Big deal.

Bears @ Eagles 3-31
It was an ugly, ugly game.

Seahawks @ 49ers 24-13
At least the 49ers got that one win…

Broncos @ Raiders 14-21
Crabtree and Talib were both ejected from this game for a fight that started last year. I thought that was something girls did not boys?

Saints @ Rams 20-26
Someone talked me into starting the Saints D over the Giants D … Did I mention I lost fantasy this week. Oh well. It didn’t help that I had started Ingram and he only had 31 yards for the Saints. In other news, the Rams are good.

Jaguars @ Cardinals 24-27
The Jags BLEW this game and the Cardinals won with a 57-yard field goal in the final seconds of the game.

Packers @ Steelers 28-31
For a moment I really thought that Green Bay might upset the Steelers. Stupid field goal to win the game.

Texans @ Ravens 16-23
I slept through this game, or this game put me to sleep. I’m not really sure. Either way I wasn’t surprised to see that the Ravens had won.

WEEK 13

I’m picking the Jags

I’m picking the Ravens

I’m picking the Chargers

Panthers (8-3) @ Saints (8-3) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m picking the Saints

Giants (2-9) @ Raiders (5-6) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m picking the Raiders and I hope Geno Smith throws 5 Interceptions. AND SHAME ON YOU JERRY REESE AND BEN MCADOO FOR QUITTING ON ELI! I HOPE YOU GET FIRED! THERE ARE 20 GIANTS ON IR AND YOU ARE BLAMING ELI FOR LOSING?!?! DID YOU KNOW THAT SINCE ELI HAS STARTED FOR THE GIANTS EVERY OTHER TEAM IN THE NFL HAS HAD 3 OR MORE STARTING QBS?!?!?! YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE GIANTS ORGANIZATION. Thanks for screwing up everything. We may never see Eli play for the Giants again…

Rams (8-3) @ Cardinals (5-6) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m picking the Rams

Eagles (10-1) @ Seahawks (7-4) [8:30pm NBC]
I’m picking the Eagles but hoping the Seahawks knock them off their high horse.

Monday, December 4th

Steelers (9-2) @ Bengals (5-6) [8:30pm ESPN]
I’m picking the Steelers but hoping for an upset!

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 12 '17 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
November 22, 2017
Regular Season Week 12

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I’m thankful for SO MUCH. I get a little bit stronger everyday and hope to return to work at the beginning of next month. There are three games on Thanksgiving and no byes this week. I’m kinda hoping I have another dream that the Giants win because it worked last week. Crazy, I know! I went 8-6 on my picks and won in one of my fantasy leagues. My records are 7-4 and 5-6….

Let’s recap week eleven.

Titans @ Steelers 17-40
The Steelers annihilated the Titans, I just wish they would’ve given the ball to Bell a little bit more.

Chiefs @ NY Giants 9-12 OT
I am still shocked, amazed, and impressed. I guess I should pay more attention to my dreams, because they really do come true.  The Giants actually played really well and Roger Lewis Jr. (who?) made an incredible catch in OT to set up a game winning field goal. I wanted to nap throughout this entire game but couldn’t bring myself to close my eyes! GMEN!!!!!

Jaguars @ Browns 19-7
The Browns now have 3 consecutive seasons of going 0-10. Ouch.  Not the type of stat you want to hold.

Lions @ Bears 27-24
The Lions are the comeback kids of the league, for sure.

Ravens @ Packers 23-0
I’m not sure what possessed me to pick the Packers to win this game. I was severely wrong. It’s been a long while since the Packers have been shut out at home.

Buccaneers @ Dolphins 30-20
It’s weird to see Ryan Fitzpatrick win a game but it’s not strange to see Jay Cutler play so bad he’s benched. Matt Moore tried to save the day but it was too little too late.

Rams @ Vikings 7-24
If you don’t like the Vikings you probably got really tired of hearing the name Latavius Murray while watching this game. He dominated the run game and couldn’t be stopped.

Redskins @ Saints 31-34 OT
It didn’t look good for the Saints but somehow they clawed their way back into the game and won in overtime, though their defense killed me in fantasy. It’s bad when you can say you would have been better off playing the Giants defense than the Saints defense. Welcome to my world.

Cardinals @ Texans 21-31
The Texans surprised me. I guess they got tired of losing.

Bills @ Chargers 24-54
QB Peterman was picked off 5 times in the first half and then benched. Tyrod tried to come back and save the day but even he fumbled the ball twice. The Chargers defense is legit to say the least.

Bengals @ Broncos 20-17
I had to pick up a QB on one of my fantasy teams because my other QB had their bye. It was slim pickings so I picked up Andy Dalton. It was a good pick! He threw three touchdown passes and helped my team to victory. Therefore, for one week, I won’t refer to him as the Ginger.   In other news, the Broncos fired their offensive coordinator after this loss.

Patriots @ Raiders 33-8
I guess it doesn’t matter what country the Pats play in, they win.

Eagles @ Cowboys 37-9
I couldn’t stay awake for this game, but it looks like I didn’t miss much.

Falcons @ Seahawks 34-31
The Seahawks almost took this game into overtime but their kicker missed the game tying field goal at the end of regulation. It didn’t go wide left or right, it was short.

WEEK 12

Thursday, November 23rd

Vikings (8-2) @ Lions (6-4) [12:30pm FOX]
I’m picking the Vikings; besides it’s a Lions tradition to lose on Thanksgiving.

Chargers (4-6) @ Cowboys (5-5) [4:30pm CBS]
I’m picking the Chargers to win this game.

NY Giants (2-8) @ Redskins (4-6) [8:30pm NBC]
I hope the Giants don’t ruin Thanksgiving. I’ll be rooting for them and hoping they win but I’m going to have to pick the Redskins to win, I’m becoming a realist.

Sunday, November 26th

Bills (5-5) @ Chiefs (6-4) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Chiefs

Panthers (7-3) @ Jets (4-6) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Panthers

Buccaneers (4-6) @ Falcons (6-4)  [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Falcons

Browns (0-10) @ Bengals (4-6) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Bengals

Titans (6-4) @ Colts (3-7) [1pm FOX]
 I’m picking the Titans

Dolphins (4-6) @ Patriots (8-2) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Pats

Bears (3-7) @ Eagles (9-1) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Eagles

Seahawks (6-4) @ 49ers (1-9) [4:05pm FOX]
I’m picking the Seahawks

Broncos (3-7) @ Raiders (4-6) [4:25pm CBS]
I’m picking the Raiders

Saints (8-2) @ Rams (7-3) [4:25pm CBS]
I’m picking the Rams

Jaguars (7-3) @ Cardinals (4-6) [4:25pm CBS]
I’m picking the Jags

Packers (5-5) @ Steelers (8-2) [8:30pm NBC]
I’m picking the Steelers

Monday, November 27th

Texans (4-6) @ Ravens (5-5) [8:30pm ESPN]
 I’m picking the Ravens

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 11 '17 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
November 16, 2017
Regular Season Week 11

I’m feeling better than I did last week but I am still out of work recovering from my stay at the hospital. I’m a little discouraged that it is taking so long, but I’d rather be on these yucky, ridiculously strong meds than need surgery. I’m also having really crazy dreams, like last night I dreamt that the NY Giants beat the KC Chiefs. I know, I know, crazy.   I did much better on my picks and in fantasy after my bye week. I went 12-2 on my picks and I bounced back in both of my fantasy leagues, knocking off the only undefeated team in one of my leagues. My records are 6-4 and 5-5….

Let’s recap week ten.

Seahawks @ Cardinals 22-16
This game was pretty decent to watch, if you had sunglasses. Those Seattle uniforms were too bright! Who ever game up with the idea of a “color out” for Thursday night football should be slapped right across the face. Maybe knock some sense into him. Anyway, the game was all right to watch.

Saints @ Bills 47-10
My uncle texted me before this game asking if the Bills could pull off the win. I said they “could” but I wouldn’t count on it. The Saints slaughtered the Bills.

Browns @ Lions 24-38
This shouldn’t come as any surprise. The Lions let the Browns feel good in the first half and then came back and played in the second half, winning the game.

Packers @ Bears 23-16
This game was one of two picks that I got wrong last week. The Bears should have won that game. I think it was a Bears touchdown. The ball hit the pylon, that’s a touchdown; also the ground can’t cause a fumble.

Steelers @ Colts 20-17
The Steelers shouldn’t have won this game. They played like crap for 55 minutes. It was hard to watch.

Bengals @ Titans 20-24
The Titans are doing well this season. It is their best start since the 2008 season, it also helps that they are playing mediocre teams.

Jets @ Buccaneers 10-15
It must have felt weird for Jets fans to see Ryan Fitzpatrick win a game at Metlife and then remember that he plays for the other team.

Vikings @ Redskins 38-30
The Vikings are legit. Sorry, not sorry, Redskins fans.

Chargers @ Jaguars 17-20 OT
This was a sloppy, sloppy game that extended into overtime and somehow the Jags pulled off the win.

Texans @ Rams 7-33
Apparently, the Rams just needed to move to L.A. to win, and man oh man, they are on a roll.

Cowboys @ Falcons 7-27
Zeke couldn’t help the Cowboys and the Cowboys couldn’t help themselves.  The Falcons walked all over them; it was nice to watch.

NY Giants @ 49ers 21-31
I’m SO GLAD we were able to help another team get their first win of the season!!! [Insert sarcasm here]

Patriots @ Broncos 41-16
Hey Tom, if you are going to run up the score like that can you at least throw a TD pass to Danny Amendola and help a girl and her fantasy team out?!!! In other news, the Broncos are terrible this year.

Dolphins @ Panthers 21-45
Cam is my fantasy QB so it’s ok for him to run up the score. It was nice to see the Panthers play well for pretty much the first time this season.

WEEK 11

Thursday, November 16th

Titans (6-3) @ Steelers (7-2) [8:25pm NBC]
I’m picking the Steelers.

Sunday, November 119th

Chiefs (6-3) @ NY Giants (1-8) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Chiefs even though I dreamt that the Giants would win this game.

Jaguars (6-3) @ Browns (0-9) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Jags.

Lions (5-4) @ Bears (3-6)  [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Lions.

Ravens (4-5) @ Packers (5-4) [1pm CBS]
The Ravens should be well rested coming off their bye but I’m still going to pick the Packers to win.

Buccaneers (3-6) @ Dolphins (4-5) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Dolphins to win.

Rams (7-2) @ Vikings (7-2) [1pm FOX]
This should be a good game. I’m going to take the Vikings with their home field advantage.

Redskins (4-5) @ Saints (7-2) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Saints to win.

Cardinals (4-5) @ Texans (3-6) [1pm FOX]
It’ll really depend on which defense show up. I’m going to pick the Cardinals to win.

Bills (5-4) @ Chargers (3-6) [4:05pm FOX]
I’m going to pick the Chargers to win. The Bills are benching Taylor, their starting QB, it’s non-injury related…

Bengals (3-6) @ Broncos (3-6) [4:25pm CBS]
Maybe the Broncos will win at home, that’s my pick.

Patriots (7-2) @ Raiders (4-5) [4:25pm CBS]
This game will be played at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. I’m going to pick the Pats to win.

Eagles (8-1) @ Cowboys (5-4) [8:30pm NBC]
I’m picking the Eagles to win.

Monday, November 20th

Falcons (5-4) @ Seahawks (6-3) [8:30pm ESPN]
I’m picking the Seahawks to win.

BYE: Colts, Jets, 49ers, Panthers

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 10 '17 #theshenoareport

The Shenoa Report
November 9, 2017
Regular Season Week 10

Hello my faithful readers. I am so sorry I didn’t post last week. I was in the hospital. Being sick is a horrible thing and I don’t suggest it to anyone. I usually write my report on Wednesday to have it posted Thursday but last Wednesday I was sent home from work with a fever and didn’t feel like writing my report that evening. Work policy is to be symptom free for 24 hrs before returning to work. I still had a fever Wednesday night so I knew that I wouldn’t be working on Thursday, and with a good nights sleep I thought I would just knock out the report on the couch. Well, I woke up Thursday morning to excruciating pain in my abdomen that burned and radiated, called my mom, and she drove me to the hospital. From that moment on the report was the last thing on my mind. I’ll spare you the details. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are a complete blur.  I’m a HUGE football fan, you know this, so it was so hard for me to not watch football, but at the same time I was so out of it I didn’t even care. My cousin had texted me to let me know I still had Watson in my starting line up. Eric was in charge of my phone and changed my lineup. I thought it was part of one of my hallucinations that Watson was on IR for the rest of the season. Week 9 was my bye week. Now I’m taking baby steps. I’m out of the hospital as of Tuesday afternoon but have to have weekly doctors appointments to monitor me in hopes that I don’t have to have surgery. I’m on super strong antibiotics that make me feel like poop but at least I’m out of the hospital. It is Thursday again and I am sitting on my couch in hopes to have the Shenoa Report posted on time once again. Week 8 I went 10-3 on my picks and I am currently in a downward spiral in my fantasy leagues 5,4 and 4,5…. If I had made picks for week 9 I would have gone 7-5

Let’s recap week nine. I’m going to be honest; I slept through all of these games. And at one point, when I woke up, I thought the Patriots were playing, and winning…. The Patriots had their bye in week 9 as well.

Bills @ Jets 21-34
I was in my “room” in the ER and saw some of this game, as the game was on and I remember the Jets helmets being very shiny. The pain meds were good.  Apparently the Jets won, I would have picked the Bills to have won and would have been wrong.

Rams @ Giants 51-17
I slept through this game, as did the Giants. But really, in all seriousness, McA-DON’T. JUST STOP. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE FIRE HIM?!?! It’ll be a happier thanksgiving if they do.

Ravens @ Titans 17-20
I would have picked the Ravens I would have been wrong

Buccaneers @ Saints 10-30
If I had been with it I would have told Eric to not start the Giants defense but start the Saints defense instead. #hospitalfail #outofit But I would have picked the Saints to win this game. Oh, and thanks Mike Evens for fighting and getting yourself suspended, it’s REALLY helping my fantasy team. #lostby4points

Broncos @ Eagles 23-51
I would have picked the Eagles and then not been happy with the outcome. It’s hard to believe that they have the best record in the NFL.

Bengals @ Jaguars 7-23
Another fight. Ridiculous. I would have picked the Jags to win though

Colts @ Texans 20-14
I still don’t believe that Watson is out the rest of the season, but it would explain the score of this game. I would not have picked the Colts to win.

Cardinals @ 49ers 20-10
I would have picked the Cardinals and the 49ers are still winless… I have a feeling things will change soon.

Redskins  @ Seahawks 17-14
I did not think that the Redskins would win, let alone in Seattle!

Chiefs @ Cowboys 17-28
I would have picked the Chiefs to win, and I would’ve been really wrong, and sad.

Raiders @ Dolphins 27-24
I didn’t watch this game either but I vaguely remember it being on. Eric watched a lot of football for me while being by my bedside at the hospital.  I would have picked the Raiders to win this game.

Lions @ Packers30-17
I saw bits and pieces of this game mostly when they woke me up to take my vitals and meds. I would have picked the Lions to win.

WEEK 10

Thursday, November 9th

Seahawks (5-3) @ Cardinals (4-4) [8:25pm NBC]
I’m picking the Seahawks for the win.

Sunday, November 12th

I’m picking the Saints to win

Browns (0-8) @ Lions (4-4) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Lions to win. Sorry Dean

Packers (4-4) @ Bears (3-5)  [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Bears to win

Steelers (6-2) @ Colts (3-6) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Steelers to win

Bengals (3-5) @ Titans (5-3) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Titans to win

Jets (4-5) @ Buccaneers (2-6) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Jets to win

Vikings (6-2) @ Redskins (4-4) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Vikings to win

Chargers (3-5) @ Jaguars (5-3) [1pm CBS]
I’m picking the Jags to win

Texans (3-5) @ Rams (6-2) [4:05pm CBS]
I’m picking the Rams

Cowboys (5-3) @ Falcons (4-4) [4:05pm CBS]
Zeek is finally serving his 6 game suspension. I’m picking the Falcons to win.

NY Giants (1-7) @ 49ers (0-9) [4:25pm FOX]
I’ll be rooting for the Giants but I think that the 49ers are going to get their first win.

Patriots (6-2) @ Broncos (3-5) [8:30pm NBC]
I’m picking the Pats

Monday, November 13th

Dolphins (4-4) @ Panthers (6-3) [8:30pm ESPN]
I’m picking the Panthers.

BYE: Chiefs, Raiders, Eagles, Ravens
