The Shenoa Report

Regular Season Week 4

I’m thinking about changing the name of this blog from The Shenoa Report to The Snarky Report. I mean, seriously.
If week three wasn’t bad enough Brett Favre, BRETT FARVE, is back in the NFL news. His agent is saying “He’s in the best shape I’ve ever seen him in, physically. He could play today, better than a lot of them out there today.” His agent went on, and on, and on, about him; but I’ll spare you. Hopefully this is also the last week we’ll hear about him.
I’d like to say that I watched a lot of football last weekend but after being at the Giants/Panthers monstrosity of a “game” I couldn’t bring myself to even watch the others “highlights”.
I did DVR “The Book of Manning” on ESPN and it’s been pretty amazing so far. I’ll let you all about it when I’m finished.
I also didn’t do well in my picks at 8-8, but surprisingly I’m still doing better than last season.

Week 1
2012 Season

9-7
2013 Season

10-6
Week 2
7-9
13-3
Week 3
6-10
8-8

Recapping week 3 is once again Snarky McSnarkerson…

Chiefs @ Eagles 26-16
I was surprised when this game started that Andy didn’t get booed, I thought, wow Philly fans have some class… and then halftime came around and there came the boo birds…  Totally not surprised. On another note, is it just me or does Andy Reid remind you of a walrus too?  I was glad to see the Chiefs win this game but I hope they don’t win their next one.

NY Giants @ Panthers 0-38
I just can’t believe I didn’t vomit during this game or after it. It was a perfect day for football in Carolina. We had AWESOME seats and my best friend (who hates football) even wore my Eli jersey (and he wore it well). By halftime we had traded jerseys (he was now wearing Victor Cruz and I, Manning) and switched to the cheap beer, which I refer to as “piss in a bottle” As you can imagine, it wasn’t a good game.
I really have nothing more to say about the game… because my mom taught me if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all.

Packers @ Bengals 30-34
This shocked me… luckily the Brett Favre news trumped the Packers loss.

Rams @ Cowboys 7-31
Damnit Bumble bees thanks for nothing.

Buccaneers @ Patriots 3-23
Shocking!... wait…

Cardinals @ Saints 7-31
Are the Saints really that good or are the Cardinals really that bad?

Lions @ Redskins 27-20
Dear Lions, thanks for making the Redskins have the same record as the Giants.

Chargers @ Titans 17-20
They did it Abby! I’m excited for you.

Browns @ Vikings 31-27
Hey Browns fans, told you your season wasn’t over! At least you won this week!!!!!

Texans @ Ravens 9-30
This game really actually surprised me.  Maybe the Ravens aren’t as horrible as I thought.

Falcons @ Dolphins 23-27
Who’d of thought the Dolphins would be 3-0?! I sure didn’t.

Jaguars @ Seahawks 17-45
This was a no brainer… The Seahawks are now 3-0.

Bills @ Jets 20-27
How do the Jets have the best record out of all the NY football teams? Something is wrong in this world… very wrong.

Colts @ 49ers 27-7
I think I heard that Kaepernick hasn’t had a touchdown since week one. 49er fans are wishing they had Alex Smith back.

Bears @ Steelers 40-23
Thanks Bears for making the Steelers as horrible as the Giants, at least we aren’t alone at 0-3

Raiders @ Broncos 21-37
 Peyton is the Man-ning

WEEK 4

Thursday September 26th

49ers (1-2) @ Rams (1-2) [8:25pm NFLN]
I’d love to see the Rams win and I’ll be rooting for them but I’m going to have to pick the 49ers to take this game.

Sunday September 29th

Cardinals (1-2) @ Buccaneers (0-3) [1pm FOX]
I’m taking the Cardinals for the win, although they’ve benched the Bucs starting QB, so they might be better now.

NY Giants (0-3) @ Chiefs (3-0) [1pm FOX]
I’m rooting for the Giants, mainly because I’m delusional. I hope they win, I want them to win, I need them to win, but I’m not picking them to win…. Dear Giants, PRESEASON IS OVER!!! THESE GAMES COUNT! PLEASE WIN A DAMN GAME, PREFEABLY THE REST OF THEM. BUT I’LL TAKE THIS GAME FOR STARTERS.
Still love you.  Go GMEN!

Seahawks (3-0) @ Texans (2-1) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Seahawks.

Bears (3-0) @ Lions (2-1) [1pm FOX]
I’m going to have to pick the Bears, sorry Lions fans, hopefully I’m wrong.

Ravens (2-1) @ Bills (1-2) [1pm CBS]
I’d like to see the Bills win but I don’t have much faith in them after losing to the Jets last week. I’m going to pick the Ravens for the win but again, I hope I’m wrong.

Steelers (0-3) @ Vikings (0-3) [1pm CBS]
HAH.  This game will be played in London and Big Ben will be there too. It sucks for the Vikings that this will be one of their “home” games. I’m taking the Vikings for the win.

Colts (2-1) @ Jaguars (0-3) [1pm CBS]
Taking the Colts for the win.

Bengals (2-1) @ Browns (1-2) [1pm CBS]
I’d love to see the Browns win again but I’m going to have to go with the Bengals this week.

Jets (2-1) @ Titans (2-1) [4:05pm CBS]
I’m taking the Titans at home.

Redskins (0-3) @ Raiders (1-2) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m picking the Raiders for the win.. 'cause I'm crazy....

Eagles (1-2) @ Broncos (3-0) [4:25pm FOX]
The Broncos got this!

Cowboys (2-1) @ Chargers (1-2) [4:25pm FOX]
I’m picking the Chargers for the win only in hopes that the Cowboys lose and help out the Giants, cause man, they need all the help they can get right now.

Patriots (3-0) @ Falcons (1-2) [8:30pm NBC]
I’d love to see the Falcons win but I’m picking the Pats in hopes that I’m wrong.

Monday September 30th

Dolphins (3-0) @ Saints (3-0) [8:30pm ESPN]
I’d like to see Miami win but I’m going to have to pick the Saints at home.

If you are a Packers fan or a Panthers fan you’re in luck…. Your team won’t lose this week!
BYE Green Bay, Carolina

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the edit Mom!!!!!!!

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 3 '13

The Shenoa Report
September 19, 2013
Regular Season Week 3

This Thursday night football thing is killing me. Trying to get this report out before 8:30pm tonight…
Week three is upon us, and as they say the third time is the charm. I hope week three is the charm the Giants need for a win.  The NFC East was 0-4 last week so at least they were all consistently awful.  I did do quite well on my picks though, especially compared to last year.
It amazes me that so many fans, and teams have already given up on this season. I’m mainly talking to my Browns fans, so you lost Trent, he’s not your whole team, you’ll be fine.
I didn’t go into detail with the recap of week two, I was feeling quite snarky actually, so I’ve given myself the nickname Snarky McSnarkerson.

Week 1
2012 Season

9-7
2013 Season

10-6
Week 2
7-9
13-3

Recapping week 2 is Snarky McSnarkerson

NY Jets  @ Patriots 10-13
What we learned at the end of this game is, Brady has a real temper and potty mouth and Rex Ryan did not punch Belicheck in the face after the game.  I think it’s a bunch of crap that Brady got away with berating his players because he’s a seasoned veteran, shame on you Tom.

Panthers  @ Bills 23-24
The Bills won with 2 seconds left on the clock. I’d like to say I’m surprised, but they were playing the Panthers so I’m not.  It was a great game to watch, if you weren’t a Panthers fan.

Rams @ Falcons 24-31
Falcons got lucky, just sayin

Vikings @ Bears 30-31
Close game. Enough said.

Redskins @ Packers 20-38
I think its safe to say the Packers are for real and the Redskins are for fake.

Cowboys @ Chiefs 16-17
WOOT WOOT! Chiefs!

Dolphins @ Colts 24-20
This surprised me and I’m ok with that.

Browns @ Ravens 6-14
The Ravens seem to be nursing a pretty big Super Bowl hangover. I mean, yes they won, but the Browns ALMOST beat them, and that’s saying something.

Titans @ Texans 24-30 OT
Sorry Abby, at least the Titans did well until overtime.

Chargers @ Eagles 33-30
It looks like the Eagles aren’t as awesome as everyone thought after week one. I like to make a lot of jokes at the Chargers expense… Well, the Eagles lost to the Chargers… there’s a joke in there somewhere.

Lions @ Cardinals 21-25
The Lions just forgot that there was a 4th quarter… they were awesome up until that point.

Saints @ Buccaneers 16-14
Saints win with a field goal as time expires.

Jaguars @ Raiders 9-19
I heard that in a few years the Jags might go pro … until then I’m pretty sure Jacksonville poses no threat.

Broncos @ NY Giants 41-23
Well, I won $20… thanks Dad! It’s heartbreaking talking about this game.  So, once again, I’m not going to talk about the patheticness of the NY Giants. I couldn’t even be happy for Peyton this week.

49ers @ Seahawks 3-29
Seahawks fans broke the Guinness Book of World Records for loudest stadium, and with the twelfth man the Seahawks spanked the 9ers.  It’s just too bad that Kaepernick didn’t really shave off one of his eyebrows.

Steelers @ Bengals 10-20
I’d like to say I watched this whole game, but I had much better things to do… mainly sleep. I was glad to see that the Bengals won though.

WEEK 3

Thursday September 19th

Chiefs (2-0) @ Eagles (1-1) [8:25pm NFLN]
Andy Reid is headed back to Philadelphia with a 2-0 record. Something tells me that the Philly fans aren’t going to welcome him back with open arms. I’m going to have to pick the Chiefs to win this game.

Sunday September 22nd

NY Giants (0-2) @ Panthers (0-2) [1pm FOX]
Dear Gmen, I will be at this game cheering you on. Not only that, but for a day, my roommate is converting to a Giants fan AND my best friend who hates football will also be right next to me sporting a Giants jersey. Please, please, PLEASE win. Eli, if you have to throw a ball away I’ll be 19 rows up in the end zone. Panthers fans, I’m sorry but I think you are going to be 0-3 after this game. I’m picking the Giants for the win! GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Packers (1-1) @ Bengals (1-1) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Packers to win this game.

Rams (1-1) @ Cowboys (1-1) [1pm FOX]
Heh, I’d LOVE to see the Rams upset the Cowboys and I think they can.  My heart is getting in the way of my picks… I’m going with the Rams for the upset.

Buccaneers (0-2) @ Patriots (2-0) [1pm FOX]
I’m picking the Pats for the win but I’m not happy about it. I’d love to be wrong.

Cardinals (1-1) @ Saints (2-0) [1pm FOX]
I’m taking the Saints over the Cardinals; I think the bird’s win last week was a fluke.

Lions (1-1) @ Redskins (0-2) [1pm FOX]
I want to pick the Lions but I don’t think that the Redskins are going to go 0-3. I’m taking the Redskins for the win.

Chargers (1-1) @ Titans (1-1) [1pm CBS]
Abby, I’m picking the Titans to win this game.

Browns (0-2) @ Vikings (0-2) [1pm CBS]
I’d love to see the Browns win this game, especially with all the talk about Trent being traded to the Colts but I’ve got to pick the Vikings for the win.

Texans (2-0) @ Ravens (1-1) [1pm CBS]
The Ravens look horrible this year. I think the Texans are going to win this game.

Falcons (1-1) @ Dolphins (2-0) [4:05pm FOX]
I’m taking the Dolphins for the win.

Jaguars (0-2) @ Seahawks (2-0) [4:25pm CBS]
This is a no brainer… The Seahawks will be 3-0 after this game.

Bills (1-1) @ Jets (1-1) [4:25pm CBS]
I’m taking the Bills for the win. I’m not getting on their bandwagon or anything; I just really don’t like the Jets.

Colts (1-1) @ 49ers (1-1) [4:25pm CBS]
I think that the 49ers are going to bounce back this week. I’m picking them for the win.

Bears (2-0) @ Steelers (0-2) [8:30pm NBC]
I’d love to see the Steelers go 0-3… I’m picking the Bears for the win.

Monday September 23rd

Raiders (1-1) @ Broncos  (2-0) [8:30pm ESPN]
Peyton, I will be happy this week when you win. I’m picking the Broncos.

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the edit Mom!!!!!!!

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 2 '13

The Shenoa Report
September 11, 2013
Regular Season Week 2

I’ve decided to not play fantasy football again this year. I miss not playing  but I’m going back to school to get my Montessori Credentials along with being promoted to lead teacher in my classroom.  I just don’t think it would be wise to keep up with this blog, go back to school, lead my classroom and play fantasy…. I probably should be writing a paper right now but hey, there is Thursday night football this week and it’s Wednesday night. Priorities. (I hope my instructors don’t read this blog) In other Shenoa football news I decided to get my XM radio turned back on in my truck so I could listen to sports radio to and from work to help keep up with this blog! I love it. Also, my apartment will soon have cable again!!!!! I love having a roommate who loves football almost as much as I do!

Week one is over and, for me, I’m thankful. My team was horrendous, how about yours? I was so mad at the Giants and their 6 turnovers that I’ve bet against them in week 2. I’ve never bet against the Giants, ever, but the time has come. Now don’t get me wrong I still LOVE them I’m just disappointed. In non-Giants news, week one had some surprise endings, teams that once were great are old and lacking, and refs are still blowing calls and changing the outcome of games. There were a number of safety’s, and I’m pretty sure more than a few teams thought it was still preseason, or at least they played like it was. Let’s just remember we just finished week one, its not mid season, your team isn’t in trouble yet. Don’t jump to conclusions, it probably isn’t as bad as it seems.
But, this is now week two and we have so much to look forward to, like the Manning Bowl! I hope it’s repeated again in February but I’m not going to hold my breath.
First, let’s recap week 1.

I’ve decided to keep my picks table from last year and compare them to this season’s picks. I am already one game better this year at 10-6!

Week 1
2012 Season

9-7
2013 Season

10-6

Ravens @ Broncos 27-49
This game started off the season and my roommate and I were super excited, and a little giddy that football was finally back. We could have done without the rain delay, but weather happens.
I could be wrong but I think Peyton Manning is back! He tied a record of throwing 7 touchdowns in a game!!!!! He’s a beast. The Broncos also put the Ravens in their place, which they should have done in January, but it was good to see the Super Bowl Champs get annihilated.  It was also nice to not have to hear about Ray Lewis every five seconds.

Seahawks @ Panthers 12-7
Typical Panthers, had the game all wrapped up and then turned the ball over giving the Seahawks the win. I’d like to say I was surprised, but I wasn’t. I do think they will have a better season this year but they still need a lot of work.

Falcons @ Saints 17-23
The Saints win but only because of a turnover with a minute left in the game. Thanks Matt Ryan, ok so it was a tipped ball but I like blaming Matty Ice.

Buccaneers @ NY Jets 17-18
The Jets got lucky with seconds left in the game and a late hit on their QB that put them into field goal range.

Vikings @ Lions 24-34
The Lions surprised me. Reggie Bush is now on their team and looking great. Suh is still a dirty player and has been fined $100K for a personal foul on the Vikings center when he purposefully hit him in the knees.  Vikings QB Ponder had a horrible game with 3 interceptions and a fumble.

Patriots @ Bills 23-21
Well the Pats won, big surprise. Actually, the Bills looked really good and played well and the Pats only won with a late field goal. I think that the Bills are going to have a better season this year and the Pats just got lucky this week.

Bengals @ Bears 21-24
I made the right prediction in that the Bears won. I still really don’t care either way.

Dolphins @ Browns 23-10
Hah! I knew the Browns would lead going into the half. Now if only they could finish games… they’re kinda like the Panthers of the north. Poor Browns

Titans @ Steelers 16-9
This was a shocker, a good one though! I hope the Steelers stay this way, old and washed up. Abby, I’m so happy for your Titans!!!!!

Raiders @ Colts 17-21
Luck isn’t in the sophomore slump yet but there’s still time.  (I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m still bitter at the Colts for letting Peyton go)

Chiefs @ Jaguars 28-2
I think the Chiefs may actually have a winning season this year with Alex Smith and I couldn’t be happier for him and all the KS fans.

Cardinals @ Rams 24-27
The Bumblebees win! (My dad and I used to refer to the Rams as the Bumblebees because of their helmets)

Packers @ 49ers 28-34
All the Packers fans are thinking, “Can’t we catch a break with the refs giving the game to the other team?” and I agree it was a bad call. That ref has been demoted so don’t worry if the Packers make it to the Super Bowl you won’t have to worry about him giving the game to their opponent. On the other hand there were lots, and lots, and lots of other plays that helped determine the outcome of this game. Really I’m just happy that Aaron doesn’t have that repulsive thing on his face anymore.

NY Giants @ Cowboys 31-36
I did my rant at the beginning of this article and I don’t care to talk about this game any further. Obviously it was our 5th preseason game.

Eagles @ Redskins 33-27
Holy Eagles Batman! I’m pretty sure that the Redskins were also playing their 5th preseason game as well. Has RG3 shook off all the rust now or is he stepping into his sophomore slump year?

Texans@ Chargers 31-28
No surprises here. Typical Chargers blew it.

WEEK 2

Thursday September 12th

NY Jets (1-0) @ Patriots (1-0) [8:25pm NFLN]
On my drive home from work I heard something surprising, yet not so surprising about Rex Ryan. Apparently he told his players that when he met Bill Belichick on the field he was going to punch him in the face. There he goes again opening his mouth proclaiming “I’m a jackass”. Raise your hand if you’re already tired of Rex Ryan. I hate the Patriots and Cut-off Hoodie McHooderson but I think it would be funnier if Bill leveled Rex at midfield. As for this game I’m picking the Patriots to win. PS Belichick you will get brownie points if you do in fact swing at Rex!

Sunday September 15th

Panthers (0-1) @ Bills (0-1) [1pm FOX]
I’m going to have to pick the Bills and hoping they’ll finish the game unlike the Panthers.

Rams (1-0) @ Falcons (0-1) [1pm FOX]
Picking the Falcons to win. Sorry Bumblebees.

Vikings (0-1) @ Bears (1-0) [1pm FOX]
I’m going to have to take the Bears over the Vikings.

Redskins (0-1) @ Packers (0-1) [1pm FOX]
Picking the Packers over the Redskins.

Cowboys (1-0) @ Chiefs (1-0) [1pm FOX]
Taking the Chiefs at home! KC please beat your opponent soundly.

Dolphins (1-0) @ Colts (1-0) [1pm CBS]
The two sophomores are going head to head. I’m going to have to pick the Colts for the win.

Browns (0-1) @ Ravens (0-1) [1pm CBS]
Sorry Browns I have to pick the Ravens for the win but by all means surprises are welcome.

Titans (1-0) @ Texans (1-0) [1pm CBS]
Sorry Abby I’m picking the Texans to win but I hope for your sake I’m wrong.

Chargers (0-1) @ Eagles (1-0) [1pm CBS]
Dangit! I’ve got to pick the Eagles to win. I’m not happy about this.

Lions (1-0) @ Cardinals (0-1) [4:05pm FOX]
I’m taking the Lions over the birds.

Saints (1-0) @ Buccaneers (0-1) [4:05pm FOX]
I’m calling the Saints over the Bucs.

Jaguars (0-1) @ Raiders (0-1) [4:25pm CBS]
I’m going with the Raiders over the Jags.

Broncos (1-0) @ NY Giants (0-1) [4:25pm CBS]
I’ve got $20 riding on the Manning Bowl. The bet is with my dad. He wasn’t too thrilled that I said the Giants were going 0-2 this week, but after the last game I feel like I’m being pretty realistic.  I think big brother is going to thrash little brother. I’m picking the Broncos for the win, and it hurts. I hate picking against the Giants, so Gmen stop pissing me off! David Wilson, hold the ball high and tight! Eli STOP throwing interceptions. Oh yes, and welcome back Brandon Jacobs please don’t go all toddler again and throw your helmet into the stands when you get upset.

49ers (1-0) @ Seahawks (1-0) [8:30pm NBC]
I don’t know if it’s a joke or not but there is a Madden commercial on right now with 49ers QB Kaepernick and Seahawks QB Wilson betting on a win. The loser shaves an eyebrow. I’m going to pick the Seahawks to win in hopes to see Kaepernick with one eyebrow. Hopefully it also shaves off some of his cockiness.

Monday September 16th

Steelers (0-1) @ Bengals  (0-1) [8:30pm ESPN]
 I’m picking the Bengals!

Even though I’m betting against them GO GMEN!!!!

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 1 '13

The Shenoa Report
September 4, 2013
Regular Season Week 1

Well it’s been seven long months since the Shenoa Report and guess what, it’s that time again!!!!!! Are you ready for some football?!?! If you’re a first time reader, welcome! And if you’re a loyal follower welcome back and I love you! I started this blog three years ago after a number of people asked me for my opinion on football and what teams they should root for. Please know that I am very bias, and know that this is just my opinion!
Last time I wrote the Ravens and the 49ers were headed to the Super Bowl, thank God that’s over.  Ray Lewis had his last game. Beyonce was the halftime show and the Saints must have forgotten to pay their electric bill at the Superdome because there was a blackout in the 3rd quarter. The Ravens ran up the score in the first half, I chanted “Alex Smith, Alex Smith” (and they never put him in), and the 49ers came back in the 4th quarter but came up short. Therefore the Ravens are the Super Bowl Champions for a year.
I did tally up my picks from last year and I definitely have room for improvement.
Here they are:
My Picks for the 2012 NFL Season

The good news about the start of this season is NO REPLACEMENT REFS and Brett Favre is STILL retired!!!!!!!!!!
Lets see who’s playing whom in week one!!!!!

WEEK 1

Thursday September 5th

Ravens @ Broncos (8:30pm NBC)
Dear John Fox, if this game is tied at the end of the 4th quarter and you have 2 time outs with 38 seconds left on the clock and the ball is in Peyton Manning’s hands, DO NOT GO INTO OVERTIME!!!!!!!  This is your redemption game, DON’T BLOW IT! I’m picking the Broncos over the Super Bowl Champions and I’ll be wearing my Peyton Manning, Colts Jersey, Thursday night.  Yes, I know, how messed up that is. Do you?

Sunday September 8th

Seahawks @ Panthers (1pm FOX)
The Seahawks are coming to town, my town, and as much as I’d like to pick Carolina for the win, I know better so I’m picking Seattle.

Falcons @ Saints (1pm FOX)
Sean Payton is back as the Saints head coach; can he change his team around? I’m picking the Saints for the win, mostly because I’m not a huge fan of the Falcons.

Buccaneers @ NY Jets  (1pm FOX)
I’m taking the Jets over the Bucs although I’m not so sure of either team.

Vikings @ Lions (1pm FOX)
I’d like to pick the Lions at home but I have a feeling that the Vikings are going to win this game. I’m going with Peterson and the Vikings

Patriots @ Bills (1pm CBS)
I’d like to see the Bills win but if I were a betting girl I’d have to take the Patriots. With that said I am not a betting girl but whenever I pick the Pats to lose they win and sometimes when I pick them to win they lose, therefore I am picking the Patriots to win in week one.

Bengals @ Bears (1pm CBS)
I’m going with the Bears being that I really don’t care one way or another.

Dolphins @ Browns (1pm CBS)
I am going to pick the Browns to win the first half of their season opener. Although I’d like to see them win the whole game I’m going to have to pick Miami for the win.

Titans @ Steelers (1pm CBS)
I’d like to see the Titans win, mainly because I don’t like the Steelers, but if I’m going to do better with my picks this season I’m going to have to pick Pittsburgh to win.

Raiders @ Colts (1pm CBS)
I’m going to pick the Colts for the win but secretly hoping that Luck has the sophomore slump.

Chiefs @ Jaguars (1pm CBS)
The Chiefs have Alex Smith and new head coach Andy Reid so I’m going to have to pick Kansas City for the win.

Cardinals @ Rams (4:25pm FOX)
Both teams are pathetic. I’d like to see the Rams win their home opener but I’m not going to pick them for the win.

Packers @ 49ers (4:25pm FOX)
I now live with a Packers fan and I’m pretty sure I’d get holy hell if I picked against them. I’m going with Clay Matthews and Aaron Rodgers for the win…. On a side note Aaron; maybe you should avoid nature for a while … you seem to have a caterpillar growing on your face. I can’t wait till it turns into a butterfly; flies off your upper lip, and you get your beautiful face back.

NY Giants @ Cowboys (8:30pm NBC)
My Giants are pretty beat up to start the season. They are definitely the underdogs in this game and playing against Tony Romo so that’s saying something. On the other hand, since the Cowboys moved into their new stadium “Jerry Land”, when ever the Giants come to town the Cowboys can’t seem to pull out a win against them. Last season was an ugly, ugly, ugly win for the Giants in Dallas but still a win, nonetheless. I hope that this game isn’t as ugly and the Giants start the season 1-0. Of course I’m picking the GMEN to win their first game! GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday September 9th

Eagles @ Redskins (6:55pm ESPN)
The Eagles have a new head coach who has a lot of “secret plays” so we’ll see what all those secrets are on Monday night and if they are good enough to beat the Redskins. I’m pretty sure the Redskins will win this game although it wouldn’t hurt my feelings one bit if RG3 had his sophomore slump, too. Going with the Redskins for the win.

Texans@ Chargers (10:15pm ESPN)
Totally not staying up to watch this game. I’m picking the Texans for the win, and hopefully that’s the only Texas team that wins in week one.

Happy Week One!!!!! I hope your team wins! (Unless you’re a Dallas, New England,  or Pittsburgh fan) Told you I was bias!

GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the edit Mom!!!!!
