The Shenoa Report Week 12

The Shenoa Report
November 24, 2010
Regular Season Week 12

As a Colts and Giants fan, last week sucked. It’s taken me a couple of days to cool down but I am sitting here in my Giants t-shirt and Colts hoodie writing this report. My teams can make mistakes but I’m going to stand by them. I am not a fair-weather fan and I hope that with your teams you are also diehard fans, no one wants fair-weather friends and neither do football teams. I’m just glad my dad raised me as a Giants fan and not a Bills fan. ; )
Am I the only one who thinks that this football season has been quite the “soap opera”? More so than previous seasons…we’ve got usurpers, scapegoats, malicious playing, the “he said, she said” BS.  There are guys being fired, guys “trading teams”, hitting, crying, and yelling…it’s ridiculous. And that’s just the Vikings.  I kid, I kid. No, it’s happening around the whole league.  At least it keeps the sports writers busy with a lot to write about. This past week has been no different from the first 10 weeks of football. Let’s recap.

Chicago @ Miami 16-0
Miami gets shut out at home.  With Miami’s injury-ridden team the Bears walked all over them allowing Miami only one 3rd down conversion. You’ve got to give it to “Da Bears” though; they played a tough game and are now at the top of the NFC North with a record of 7-3. Miami is now 5-5.

Baltimore @ Carolina 37-13
In talking about fair-weather fans I’m going to have to call out Panthers’ fans, put yourself in the cleats of the guys on the field every Sunday at home games. How would you do if you looked up in the stands and almost all the seats were empty after a not so productive 1st half? Shame on you, you fair-weather Panthers fans!  Do you go to your children’s concerts and walk out halfway through if the kids have some off notes? Maybe, just maybe the Panthers would play better if their fans didn’t give up on them quite so easily. No one likes to watch their team lose (it’s ugly, I can attest to that after last week) but try to stay with them until the end of the game.
I’ll step off my soapbox now.
On a side note the Ravens looked pretty spectacular. Baltimore is now 7-3 and Carolina is 1-9 with the worst record in the NFL this season.

Buffalo @ Cincinnati 49-31
Hey Buffalo, where’d you come from?!?!?! What a comeback! 5 unanswered TDs in the 2nd half! 3 of which were by Steve Johnson, who I am proud to say is on my fantasy football team and definitely helped me with the win last week. If the Giants couldn’t win it was good to see the other two NY teams win. Buffalo is now 2-8 and Cincinnati is 2-8

Detroit @ Dallas 19-35
Dear Detroit, this is unacceptable and it better not happen again next week. Dallas now has 3 wins under their belt. Was it because of the coaching change? Who knows? Dallas is now 3-7 and Detroit is 2-8

Cleveland @ Jacksonville 20-24
The Browns couldn’t pull of the win but it was a good, close game. When it’s not your team playing, these are the kind of games that are entertaining and fun to watch. I prefer to have a huge lead, or cushion if you will, when I watch my team. Cleveland is now 3-7 and Jacksonville is 6-4

Arizona @ Kansas City 13-31
This game played out just like I thought, with another Arizona loss. Arizona is now 3-7 KC is 6-4

Green Bay @ Minnesota 31-3
Well, another one bites the dust. Brad Childress was fired after this loss but is anyone really surprised? I’m not. The Vikings are now in the run for last place but there is good competition there with the Panthers. If they keep playing Favre I’m pretty sure they’ll be pretty close to achieving that 1st pick in the 2011 draft.
Green Bay had a great game with that classy Aaron Rogers leading the team to quite the victory. GB is now 7-3 and Minnesota is 3-7

Houston @ New York Jets 27-30
The comeback kids win another game. One thing is for sure the Jets do not quit. Nice playing boys. The Jets are now 8-2 and the Texans are 4-6

Oakland @ Pittsburgh 3-35
If you can’t beat them on the field try to physically assault them on the field. That seemed to be Seymour’s philosophy anyway. Was it worth the $25,000? I know if I could afford that kind of penalty and Roethlisberger was running his mouth I’d probably pop him one too. Just sayin’. But then again I’m not a fan of Big Ben by any means. At least he picked on someone his own size this time… anyway … the Steelers got their win and are now 7-3 and Oakland falls to 5-5

Washington @ Tennessee 19-16 OT
This was a GREAT game, and one of those games I talked about earlier being that it was an entertaining, close game. I was happy to see Washington pull off the win but with the Giants loss I can’t be rooting for the Redskins anymore. Way to pull off the win in OT Washington. Washington is now 5-5 and Tennessee is 5-5

Seattle @ New Orleans 19-34
This game should have come with no surprise with a Saints win. New Orleans is now 7-3 and Seattle is 5-5

Tampa Bay @ San Francisco 21-0

Another shutout at home this week. The 49ers are now 3-7 and the Bucs are 7-3

Atlanta @ Saint Louis 34-17
Saint Louis is really struggling but Atlanta should be getting some credit with one of the best records in the NFL this season.  It was a disappointing loss and I would really have liked to see the Rams pull off an upset. But sometimes it just doesn’t work out the way you’d like it to.  Atlanta is now 8-2 Saint Louis is 4-6

Indianapolis @ New England 28-31
I HATE the Pats. And it pains me to recap this game. So I’ll say just this…. Peyton, I love you but you’ve got to stop throwing interceptions. You’re killing me. But I love you and I believe in you and the Indianapolis Colts it just sucks that you wouldn’t stomp the Pats in their house. Don’t worry you’ve got the next one. The Colts are now 6-4 and the Pats are 8-2

New York Giants @ Philadelphia
I HATE THE EAGLES!!!!!!!!!! PS I’m visiting my brother and his wife for Thanksgiving in Dover, DE and we went to the mall today where there were copious amounts of Philly fans… I did a lot of hissing and may have even threw up in my mouth a little bit when walking into the sports store and seeing all the Eagles paraphernalia. True Story. Like I just said to Peyton I will now say to Eli. Eli, I love you but you have got to stop throwing interceptions and for the love of God learn to slide! You’re killing me, but I love you and I believe in you and the GMEN so get it done next week. Yes it sucks that you lost to the Eagles but you’ll get another chance on December 19 to beat them at home. I will consider that win a late birthday present. The Giants are now 6-4 and the Eagles are 7-3 and at the Top of the NFC East for just this week I hope.

Denver @ San Diego 14-35
Phillip Rivers was on fire Monday night with 4 TDs bringing the Chargers to a big victory over the Broncos. The Chargers are now 5-5 and the Broncos are 3-7.

WEEK 12
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

New England @ Detroit
Brady is listed as questionable for this game and all my dreams would come true if the Lions win. Can we say Thanksgiving miracle? Lets hope so.

New Orleans @ Dallas
I don’t think it will take a Thanksgiving miracle for the Saints to beat the Cowboys but just in case I’m asking for another miracle of sorts.  Go Saints!

Cincinnati @ New York Jets
And to cap off the best Thanksgiving ever I will pick the Jets to beat the Bengals.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving and may your team win unless your team is the Patriots, Cowboys, or Bengals.  I brought my Lions hat to wear for the big day and I have the pleasure of watching the game with a Pats fan…. I’m sure there will be stories about it next week. Stay tuned.

Green Bay @ Atlanta
This will be a defining game for the Packers to see what they are made of. They have had a pretty cake schedule so far this season. Atlanta, on the other hand, has had a decent schedule so Green Bay better bring their A-Game. I’m going to pick GB and hope they win.

Pittsburgh @ Buffalo
I would love, love, LOVE for Buffalo to win but I am not betting on it. Please prove me wrong Bills. Please.

Carolina @ Cleveland
McCoy is out and Delhomme is in just in time for the big game against Carolina. This may be one game Jakie will win with Carolina on the field. We will just have to see who he throws to more. Hopefully Cleveland.

Tennessee @Houston
This is a divisional game in which I hope Houston wins so that Tennessee doesn’t get in front of Indi. Go Texans

Jacksonville @ New York Giants
I’m going with the Giants. Eli is going to have a great game even without Nicks on the field. We are going to bounce back and win. And this will be a double win for me because it should put the Colts back on top of their division as well.

Minnesota @ Washington
A Vikings win would help my Giants.  Will Leslie Frazier, the interim head coach, bring a Vikings win? Maybe, if he benches Favre.

Miami @ Oakland
The Raiders were embarrassed last week as well as Miami. I think that Oakland will come out on top this Sunday.

Kansas City @ Seattle
I still don’t know how both these teams are at the top of their division. It should be a pretty even game nonetheless. I’ll take Seattle this week.

Tampa Bay @ Baltimore
Man I hope the Ravens win this one. Both teams have the same record so this should be another good game to watch.

Philadelphia @ Chicago
This is another case when my mind says one thing but my heart says another. I’m going with my heart and going with Chicago! PS I HATE PHILLY.

Saint Louis @ Denver
I’m going to have to go with Denver but hopefully Sam Bradford will have a good game

San Diego @ Indianapolis
The Colts are going to get out of their funk and win this game. Sorry Nayiri I hope both of your teams lose this week because both my teams lost last week.
I hope the Colts come back and come back BIG

San Francisco @ Arizona
Both teams are in the NFC West and are at the bottom of their division so this is a game of last place… another toilet bowl if you will. Arizona I am picking you for the win one last time. Don’t let me down.

GO GIANTS AND GO COLTS!!!!!!!! Enjoy!

PS Thanks to my brother (the grammar nazi) and his wife for editing this for me!

The Shenoa Report Week 11

The Shenoa Report
November 17, 2010
Regular Season Week 11

HAHA I did it! I have the Shenoa Report done before Thursday night football. Go ME! Anyway. Enough about me, Week 10 had only a few surprises. I’m pretty torn up over the Giants game but I suppose if you aren’t a Giants fan no one would really care. It was pretty bad, I mean the joke of the NFL, aka the Dallas Cowboys, walked all over the Giants. It was a humbling experience for me.  Oh well here are the recaps of week 10.

Baltimore @ Atlanta 21-26
This was Thursday night’s game and I would have picked the Ravens and I would have been wrong…

Detroit @ Buffalo 12-14
Buffalo FINALLY wins one! Way-to-go boys! First win of the 2010 season…

Minnesota @ Chicago 17-23
DA BEARS! This far into the season you all know how I feel about Favre and the whole Minnesota debauchery.  All I have to say is Favre has 10 TDs and 16 INTs. FAIL

New York Jets @ Cleveland 26-20 OT
Jets pull off the win in OT.  Sorry Cleveland. PS keep your fans in check. Seriously, you get a bad reputation real fast when a drunken Cleveland fan tackles an 8 year old boy in the parking lot wearing a Jets jersey after the loss…

Cincinnati @ Indianapolis 17-23
Peyton didn’t even have a TD and the Colts still won this game. Thank you Colts.

Houston @ Jacksonville 24-31
Did you see that last play?! If not look it up, it brought Jacksonville to victory.

Tennessee @ Miami 17-29
Randy Moss only had one catch and Miami put the game away with their third string QB Tyler Thigpen. Way to go Miami

Carolina @ Tampa Bay 16-31
Carolina is just awful. The End.

Kansas City @ Denver 29-49
I called this! KC is not the powerhouse their stats show. Way to go Denver! Very excited for Tim Tebow getting his first throwing TD of his NFL career!

Seattle @ Arizona 36-18
Arizona just couldn’t pull off the win. Not even close.

Dallas @ New York Giants 33-20
Just swallowed a big piece of humble pie. The lights are on. The lights are off. They’re playing in the dark, they’re playing in the light. It was horrible. There aren’t words to describe the awfulness of this game. There were many expletives thrown around in my living room during this game and if I had had a dinner roll it would have been thrown too. (Granddad would be proud of me. Not of this game.) And that’s all I have to say about that.

Saint Louis @ San Francisco 20-23 OT
Well I didn’t see that coming. Congrats on the hard earned win SF.

New England @ Pittsburgh 39-26
I would much rather have seen this game end in a tie but it’s really no surprise who won this.

Philadelphia @ Washington 59-28
Remember that commercial “The Michael Vick Experience”. … they redid it… and it was super long this time.  Vick had 6 TDs… ridiculous.

WEEK 11

Chicago @ Miami
This is a Thursday night game and both teams are coming off wins. I’m going to take Miami at home. Miami is 5-4 and Chicago 6-3

Baltimore @ Carolina
As Brian Regan would say “Easy out, Easy out” which translates to “Easy win, easy win Ravens. “ Baltimore is 6-3 and Carolina is 1-8

Buffalo @ Cincinnati
Cincinnati is hurting… and I know that Buffalo only has one win but I have to take them again. Buffalo is 1-8 and Cincinnati is 2-7

Detroit @ Dallas
I really believe that last week’s win was a fluke. I may be very bitter but I’m going with Detroit. Both teams are 2-7

Cleveland @ Jacksonville
I love you Cleveland but I’m taking Jacksonville. I hope I’m wrong. Cleveland is 3-6 and Jacksonville is 5-4

Arizona @ Kansas City
I’m tired of backing up Arizona. I’m still not on the KC bandwagon I’m just picking them for the win this Sunday. Arizona is 3-6 KC is 5-4

Green Bay @ Minnesota
I just don’t see the Viking winning this. Well, I mean, they could win this if they benched Favre but that’ll never happen so the win goes to Green Bay. GB is 6-3 and Minnesota is 3-6

Houston @ New York Jets
I’m going with the Jets. Done and done.  Jets are 7-2 and the Texans are 4-5

Oakland @ Pittsburgh
Oh man I would love for Oakland to beat up on Pittsburgh.  I’m taking Oakland in the upset. Oakland is 5-4 and Pittsburgh is 6-3

Washington @ Tennessee
I think Tennessee will win this one but I would like to see McNabb and the Redskins get a win. Washington is 4-5 and Tennessee is 5-4

Seattle @ New Orleans
I’m taking the Saints in this game. New Orleans is 6-3 and Seattle is 5-4

Tampa Bay @ San Francisco
I just don’t think the 49ers are going to win at home this week. I’m going with the Bucs.  The 49ers are 3-6 and the Bucs are 6-3

Atlanta @ Saint Louis
I would really like to see the Rams pull off an upset. I’m going with the Rams this week. Atlanta is 7-2 Saint Louis is 4-5

Indianapolis @ New England
I am bias and I am taking the Colts. (I hate the Patriots and I will never pick against the Colts) The Pats are 7-2 and the Colts are 6-3 This is one of the games I get to see from the comfort of my home… if it doesn’t go well you will not be able to reach me on my phone… it will be off.

New York Giants @ Philadelphia
Dear God please let the Giants win this game.  Shut down Vick and Jackson. Thanks. Love, Shenoa. But seriously GMEN we need this win. You need this win. I need this win! Sooooo WIN GIANTS WIN.  PS both teams are 6-3 on the season and at the Top of the NFC East.

Denver @ San Diego
I’m going with the Chargers on Monday Night Football. The Chargers are 4-5 and the Broncos are 3-6.

There are no byes this week.

GO COLTS AND GO GIANTS.

Thanks Mom

The Shenoa Report Week 10

The Shenoa Report
November 14, 2010
Regular Season Week 10

I’m going to be honest I looked at the clock Thursday evening after work and thought about writing up this report in time to talk about the Thursday night game but I just couldn’t pull it together. Maybe next week will be different, but probably not.  I’m not going to climb up onto my soapbox just yet so lets recap last week.

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta 21-27
Atlanta was 6-2 after this win over the Bucs.   They had a short week and won again Thursday night at home over the Ravens. They are leading the league at 7-2 for the moment but I’m sure this will all change Sunday. Tampa Bay fell to 5-3.

Chicago @ Buffalo 22-19
Even when playing in another country one thing remained the same for the Bills… they still couldn’t pull off a win.  This game was played in Canada, which was a home game for Buffalo anyway. Sorry Buffalo.  Chicago is 5-3 and Buffalo is a sad depressing 0-8

New England @ Cleveland 14-34
BAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Wait for it… BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
OK I think this game was an even sweeter win than my Giants stomping on the Seahawks.  Colt seems to be the real McCoy. I’m impressed and oh so glad that I picked Cleveland over New England. Sometimes it pays to make picks from your heart.  New England is 6-2 and Cleveland is 3-5

New York Jets @ Detroit 23-20 in OT
Detroit almost ruined the Jets day but as it turned out the Jets ruined the Lions day. But is anyone surprised.  I mean I’m a little surprised at how the Jets are playing. This one was too close Jets… you need to step up your game if you are going to stay on top of the AFC East. The Jets are 6-2 and Detroit is 2-6

Arizona @ Minnesota 24-27 in OT
Arizona you have disappointed me. In other news Favre assures everyone that this is his last season…. There’s a song by Jo Dee Messina… it goes like this ….”My give-a-damn’s busted.  I really wanna care. I wanna feel somethin’. Let me dig a little deeper; No, sorry: nothin’.” The sports analysts say with this win Favre has saved Childress’ job and the season. Minnesota is 3-5 on the season… you do the math.  Arizona is also 3-5. Things are looking pretty grim for these two teams.

New Orleans @ Carolina 34-3
Another coach that should be fired is John Fox. I mean Wade Phillips got the boot this week why are we keeping Fox around. There really isn’t much to say about this game. We really knew the outcome before it even began. New Orleans is 6-3 and the Panthers are 1-7

Miami @ Baltimore 10-26
Baltimore looked good against Miami but had a short week and couldn’t walk away with a win on Thursday. After this game Miami is 4-4 and Baltimore was 6-2

San Diego @ Houston 29-23
The Chargers pulled off their first road win of the season. And with Houston losing this would have helped the Colts if they hadn’t lost too.
San Diego is now 4-5 and Houston is 4-4

New York Giants @ Seattle 41-7
The Giants make me so proud! They had 34 unanswered points before Seattle scored their only TD in the 4th quarter. I wish I had gotten this game rather than the Colts game Sunday I would have smiled a lot more. My brother asked me if they evoked the mercy rule in football… With this game I’m glad they don’t have such a rule. The Giants are now 6-2 while the Seahawks are 4-4

Kansas City @ Oakland 20-23 OT
Oakland seems to be a legit team or are they only playing the weaker teams? Either way, they are winning and that’s what matters. I bet that in a couple of weeks KC will be knocked out of the top spot of the AFC West. Lucky for KC, Oakland has a bye this week.

Indianapolis @ Philadelphia 24-26

I HATE Philly. It would have been a perfect weekend if this score were reversed. Colts D you let me down. Colts are now5-3 and the Eagles are 5-3 and that’s all I have to say about that.

Dallas @ Green Bay 7-45

Well Wade Phillips finally got fired. But is this really going to help the Cowboys? I hope not. This was a status update from one of my friends last week “What do you call 53 millionaires watching the SuperBowl? The Dallas Cowboys” I don’t know about you but I sure did get a chuckle out of it. Dallas is now 1-7 and Green Bay is 6-3

Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati 27-21

Cincinnati really didn’t have much of a chance. I’m not gonna lie I didn’t even bother watching this game. The Steelers are now 6-2 and the Bengals are 2-6

WEEK 10

Baltimore @ Atlanta 21-26
This was Thursday night’s game and I would have picked the Ravens and I would have been wrong…

Detroit @ Buffalo
I’m picking Buffalo in OT… shocker I know

Minnesota @ Chicago
I’m going with DA BEARS at home

New York Jets @ Cleveland
I don’t think that the Browns can upset 3 weeks in a row. I’m going with the Jets

Cincinnati @ Indianapolis
The Colts have this one.

Houston @ Jacksonville
This is a battle for last place in the AFC South. I’m going with Jacksonville

Tennessee @ Miami
This will be Randy Moss’ debut with the Titans and Kerry Collins is their starting QB today… I’m going with Miami… I hope that Collins plays like he did when he was with the Giants…

Carolina @ Tampa Bay
The Bucs have this one. Its pretty much already gift-wrapped.

Kansas City @ Denver
I’m still not on the KC bandwagon but Denver is doing horribly this season. Tough call.  I’m going out on a limb and picking Denver for the win.

Seattle @ Arizona
Arizona has lost 3 weeks in a row. They are due for a win at home. I’m going with Arizona. Side note Kurt Warner is now off Dancing With The Stars.  It was a good run Kurt.

Dallas @ New York Giants
Well Dallas has a new head coach but I don’t think it’s going to change anything. Like Vince Lombardi said, “Once you learn to quit it becomes habit.” And they have a strong habit to break and its not going to change today. The Giants will walk alllll over them and it will be GLORIOUS. Obviously I’m going with the G-MEN. GO GIANTS!!!!

Saint Louis @ San Francisco
I’m going with the Rams this week.

New England @ Pittsburgh
I’ve got to go with the Steelers at home.  I’ll even skip all the snide remarks I usually make about these two teams.

Philadelphia @ Washington
Washington you’ve done it once this year please do it again and beat the opponent soundly.

This week’s Byes: Packers, Saints, Raiders, and Chargers

GO COLTS AND GO GIANTS!!!!!!!! Enjoy!

(thanks mom for editing the first part I hope there aren’t many mistakes on my picks for this weekend)

The Shenoa Report Week 9

The Shenoa Report
November 7, 2010
Regular Season Week 9

I don’t even know where to start?! Week 8 was crazy! There are some horrible football teams out there this season *cough cough* Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers. Even the Detroit Lions have a better record this season than these 3 teams!
Mentioning the Lions brings me to my second point. Mike Shanahan, you sound like one of my 3 yr olds trying to talk your way out of a corner. Just admit, YOU BLEW IT by taking McNabb out and putting Rex Grossman in. Big mistake, BIG, HUGE, mistake. I mean really? Your go to guy is Grossman? Come on! And that’s how Detroit got their 2nd win of the season hand delivered by Shanahan.
Brad Childress, another stellar coach in the NFL this season (please note my sarcasm) really has some major problems. He can’t manage his team, he continues to start a QB who is less than impressive this season while his backup QB is an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. He traded a third round draft pick with the Patriots to acquire Randy Moss and then not even a month later put Moss on waivers. Sports Center did a poll earlier this week on whether or not Childress should be fired and out of almost 100,000 people who responded to the poll 80% agreed he should be fired. The Minneapolis Star Tribune did a similar poll and 90% agreed he should be fired. Fans are not happy and neither is Zygi Wilf the owner of the Vikings. Childress is in some pretty hot water.
And finally Randy Moss… He’s on his 3rd NFL team this season! After being put on wavers 20 teams passed on picking him up! 20 TEAMS didn’t want to deal with his nonsense. If that doesn’t humble a person I don’t think anything will. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what kind of stink he makes in Tennessee. Any one want to bet that he’s back in New England by the end of the season or jobless????

With that all being said let us now recap week 8.

Denver @ San Francisco 16-24
I am horrible at picking games. And Denver is horrible at winning games. I was wrong I thought that Denver would win this game. I was definitely wrong. PS my mom went back though my past Shenoa Reports and calculated my picks… I am right exactly 50% of the time…. Not a good stat. I’m going to try to get better the second half of the season.

Jacksonville @ Dallas 35-17
Yeah Dallas sucks… the end.

Miami @ Cincinnati 22-14
Cincinnati did a pretty good job of keeping Miami out of the end zone but still allowed 5 field goals and one TD and lost the game.

Buffalo @ Kansas City 10-13 OT
This is the second week that a Buffalo game has gone into OT and the seventh time that the Bills have not come up with a win. Oh Buffalo I don’t know what else to say…. 0-7 … ouch.

Washington @ Detroit 25-37
I was glad to see Detroit win but not at the expense of McNabb. I would love to know what was going on in the mind of Shanahan to take McNabb out and put Grossman in…. what an idiot.

Carolina @ Saint Louis 10-20
No surprise here. Sam Bradford looked good for a rookie QB with 2 TD’s and no interceptions.  I can’t say the same for Matt Moore and the Panthers.

Green Bay @ New York Jets 9-0
Watching this game I was STUNNED.  I’ve got to hand it to GB though…. They played a great game. Its been a real long time since the Jets have been shut out at home.

Tennessee @ San Diego 25-33
I was very glad to see the Chargers get out of their funk. Thank you for helping out my Colts.  Tennessee I don’t know whether to congratulate you on the new addition to your team or send condolences.  At least you have a bye week to figure things out.

Minneapolis @ New England 18-28
As I expected scenario 3 practically came true.  The Pats knocked out Favre but it was too late in the game for Tavaris Jackson to turn the game around. When is Childress going to get a clue…. Maybe soon he won’t have to because he’ll be fired for being such a sucky coach. Argh. On a side note Randy Moss had an uneventful game against his former team and then got the boot….

Tampa Bay @ Arizona 38-35
The Bucs seem to be the rally back team. It’s hard to believe they are in 5-2. It is truly anyone’s year… well except for the Panthers, Cowboys, and Bills… it’s definitely not their year…

Seattle @ Oakland 3-33
Oakland is really surprising everyone this year. They are playing some decent football and seem to be killing the competition.

Pittsburgh @ New Orleans 10-20
I was glad to see the Saints win this game and even happier to see Roethlisberger hit the ground so many times thanks to the Saints defense. Good game boys good game.

Houston @ Indianapolis 17-30
This game sure did not disappoint! The Colts team came in with 3 key players out and somehow Peyton and the Indi defense came out with a fantastic win. Peyton had an awesome game throwing 2 TD’s, no interceptions, a rushing 1st down, and he even threw a block. He is my hero.

WEEK 9

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta
Both teams lead the NFC South at 5-2. I’ll pick Atlanta this week. I don’t think that the Bucs will be the come back kids Sunday.

Chicago @ Buffalo
Hey Buffalo lets win this week in regulation…. Against my best instincts I’m picking the Bills to win this. Yeah I don’t know why either. Chicago is 4-3 and Buffalo is of course 0-7

New England @ Cleveland
My picks are so bad because I usually want Cleveland to win and always want New England to lose. So once again I’m going with my heart and picking the Browns to win this one.  The Browns are 2-5 and desperately need a win… New England is 6-1

New York Jets @ Detroit
Detroit got lucky last week and it isn’t going to happen again this week unless Suh has another big week but I think that the Jets are going to be ready this time. NY is 5-2 and Detroit is 2-5

Arizona @ Minnesota
Arizona’s got this. The Vikings are falling apart and quite frankly I’m tired of all their shenanigans. For the love of God bench Favre, start Jackson, and fire Childress. Arizona is 3-4 and Minnesota is 2-5

New Orleans @ Carolina
Another coach that should be fired is John Fox. Carolina is horrible this year. I think its safe to say that the Saints will win this game. Maybe I’ll wear my Shockey shirt today and walk around the streets of Charlotte. New Orleans is 5-3 and the Panthers are 1-6

Miami @ Baltimore
This should be a good game. I’m going with the Ravens this week. I hope that their defense plays well because I haven’t won fantasy football in 3 weeks. Miami is 4-3 and Baltimore is 5-2

San Diego @ Houston
The Chargers need to win this one. Houston has a short week this week being that they lost to the Colts this past Monday. Hopefully they won’t be prepared enough for this game and the Chargers will win.  Houston has the better record but San Diego needs the win more and so do I.  San Diego is 3-5 and Houston is 4-3

New York Giants @ Seattle
The Giants will be facing a 2nd string QB in Seattle this weekend and with the way that the G-Men’s defense has been playing Seattle might want to get their 3rd string QB lined up and ready to go as well. The Giants should be very well rested coming off their bye week and ready to win this football game. I’m going with the Giants! They are 5-2 while the Seahawks are 4-3

Kansas City @ Oakland
The Raiders are on a rampage and will put a hurting on KC. I am still confused that KC leads the AFC West at 5-2 but it won’t be long because Oakland is 4-4 and ready to take over.

Indianapolis @ Philadelphia

I hate Philly and LOVE Indi. Go Colts! Peyton exudes confidence in his team and will lead them to victory again this week.  And to quote Stuart Scott "I feel like picking against Peyton Manning is like not filing a income tax return, ethically wrong and illegal." I feel the same way Stuart. I feel the same way.  Oh yeah the Colts are 5-2 and the Eagles are 4-3

Dallas @ Green Bay

Dallas doesn’t have a chance… Wade Phillips… another coach that will be looking for a job at the end of this season. Dallas is 1-6 and Green Bay is 5-3

Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati

I’d like to see Cincinnati pull off the upset but I won’t hold my breath. It was nice to see Big Ben get knocked around last weekend… maybe it’ll happen again this weekend. The Steelers are 5-2 and the Bengals are 2-5

This week’s byes are the Broncos, Jaguars, 49ers, Rams, Titans, and Redskins

Enjoy! GO GIANTS & COLTS!!!!!!!

PS a special thanks to my mom for editing for me!
