The Shenoa Report Week 2

The Shenoa Report

Regular Season Week 2

I thought I would do this just for some fun. We all know that I’m a huge football fan and there are a number of people who actually ask me about football and who to root for each week. Not that my opinion matters in the sports world, or world for that matter, but I still have an opinion and want to share it.

Patti Remington gave me the idea last season. She would call every week to ask who she and Paul should root for. We started calling it the Shenoa Report.  So here it goes. ….

The season kicked off last week with the Superbowl champs making Brett Favre wish he had actually retired for real this time. Final score Saints 14 Vikings 9.

Jake Delhomme couldn’t bring a win to Cleveland either. Sorry Browns good ol’ Jakie disappointed Carolina too and we don’t miss him down here. Final score Buccaneers 17 Browns 14.

Big surprise in Buffalo where the Bills lose their home opener to the Dolphins  15- 10… wait.

T.O. and  Ochocinco both have TV shows  but that didn’t help the Bengals on the field Sunday as the Patriots, mainly Welker,  had their way with Cincinnati. PS I hate the Patriots.

Not much to say about the Broncos Jaguars game. Jags win 24-17.

I don’t know what was worse the Giants secondary, or watching the game in a room full of Panthers fans while wearing the Manning #10 jersey. I guess I should really thank Matt Moore for playing so well for the Giants. Carolina was so excited when Delhomme left because they didn’t think it could get any worse… let me introduce Matt Moore…  Well a not so pretty win for the Giants. BUT a Giant win nonetheless, christening their new stadium with a WIN. (Something the Cowboys couldn’t experience thanks to the Giants…. Sometimes I reminisce) Giants over Panthers 31-18

Poor Detroit. They should have won that game. I believe it was a catch… Poor, poor Detroit. Da Bears win it 19-14

The Steelers over the Falcons in overtime 15-9….

Congrats Abby for your first win. Why are you a Titans fan? Titans over the Raiders 38-13… Well, I mean, you played the Raiders… you should have won.

Tear. Texans over the Colts 34-24. I’m glad I didn’t watch this game… There is no crying in football.

Arizona over St. Louis 17-13

The Seahawks walked all over the 49ers 31-6

The Packers beat the Eagles 27-20 he he he. I don’t like Philly either…

Beautiful win for the Redskins over the Cowboys 13-7 on the last play. PS I hate the Cowboys too.

Jets lose their home opener to the Ravens 10-9… Great game. Intense.

Chiefs over the Chargers 21-14. I didn’t see that one coming.

WEEK ONE DONE AND DONE.

OK week 2 here we go…

Buffalo @ Greenbay
I’d like to see Buffalo win… but yeah, Greenbay will win this one.

Miami @ Minnesota
I’d like to see Miami win and I’m pulling for the upset… mainly because I don’t like Favre. If he wasn’t the quarter back I’d like Minnesota to win.

Kansas City @ Cleveland
I’d like to see Cleveland win but its not likely even though Jakie isn’t starting.

Chicago @ Dallas
DA BEARS of course! (remember I hate Dallas)

Arizona @ Atlanta
I’m going with Arizona

Tampa Bay @ Carolina
Being that I live in Charlotte I am supposed to show allegiance… Lets hope for a lot of Panthers first downs RAWRRR RAWRRR. Panthers need this win. Go Panthers

Philadelphia @ Detroit
Lets go Lions! (I hate the Eagles)

Baltimore @ Cincinnati
I feel like the Ravens are going to walk over the Bengals.  And that’s ok with me
Pittsburgh @ Tennessee
Lets go Titans! I’m just not a fan of the Steelers anymore

Seattle @ Denver
Should be a good game.  Personally I don’t care but if I had to pick one I would go with Denver… Love me some Tebow even on the sideline.

St. Louis @ Oakland
The Rams got this.

Houston @ Washington
Texans walked over Indi last week and will have their way with Washington today

New England @ New York Jets
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! (I hate the Patriots) but I think the Jets are going 0-2 L

Jacksonville @ San Diego
Phillip Rivers is my Fantasy football QB so I’m hoping for a big win for the Chargers

New York Giants @ Indianapolis
MANNING BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This game has been on my calendar since the season was posted. Can’t pick a winner because my two favorite teams are playing each other! Both need a win. …. Eeeeek  GO OFFENSE? I’m just going to try to enjoy the game. But if all my dreams came true I’d want a Manning Superbowl with the Colts winning because Peyton is the older one and he doesn’t have as many years left to play the game.

New Orleans @ San Francisco
The Saints will go 2-0

Well that was fun.  Enjoy!
