The Shenoa Report
December 22, 2012
Regular Season Week 16

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you! I hope you get a little time off to spend with your family and those dear to you, I know that I am. My parents, sister, her boyfriend and my best good friend are all gathered together in my apartment for the holidays. The end is near, and I don’t mean the world I mean the regular season.
My friend called me the other day to tell me about a dream he had had. I just had to share it with you. Here’s the dream: my friend was on a road trip with Peyton Manning (first of all just that was pretty awesome) anyway, they stopped at an outlet store that sold those leather jackets with the fringe on the arms. So Peyton tries on a white jacket with fringe on the arms and my friend says to him “TAKE THAT OFF YOU LOOK LIKE A DALLAS COWBOY!!!”  Peyton quickly took it off and gave my friend a dirty look. He later had two wrapped up for Eli. Then my friend decided he should take a picture with Peyton so that he could show me that they were hanging out. He told Peyton about my Shenoa Report and I. He told Peyton that he should really be reading my report and Peyton wanted to meet me… but then my friend woke up and that is the end of his dream.  I can safely say that was the best dream that I’ve never had.
This was my worst week yet for picks at 7-9… ouch. We have just two weeks left. I’d really just like to think that week 15 never happened … but it did, so lets recap last week...

Bengals [8-6]  @ Eagles [4-0] 24-13
No surprise there.

Colts [9-5] @ Texans [12-2] 17-29
Little surprised.

Redskins [8-6] @ Browns [5-8] 38-21
The Browns disappointed me.

Vikings [8-6] @ Rams [6-7-1] 36-22
Wrong again!

Broncos [11-3]  @ Ravens [9-5] 34-17
I thought that the Ravens would have put up more of a fight. Oh well.  Go Peyton!

Buccaneers [6-8] @ Saints [6-8] 0-41
SHUT OUT.

Jaguars [2-12] @ Dolphins [6-8] 3-24
Ouch.

Giants [8-6] @ Atlanta [12-2]  0-34
…. My mom said that if I didn’t have anything nice to say then to not say anything at all……

Packers [10-4] @ Bears [8-6]  21-13
Not surprised.

Lions [4-10] @ Cardinals [5-9] 10-38
No one saw that one coming.

Seahawks [9-5] @ Bills [5-9] 50-17
Wow Seahawks.

Panthers [5-9] @ Chargers [5-9] 31-7
The Panthers surprised us all too.

Chiefs [2-12] @ Raiders [4-10] 0=15
Hey look at that, I picked one correctly, and it was the 3rd shutout of the day.

Steelers [7-7] @ Cowboys [8-6] 24-27
If it wasn’t painful enough rooting for the Steelers watching them lose to the Cowboys was definitely worse.

49ers [10-3-1]  @ Patriots [10-4] 41-34
Surprised, but happy about it.

Jets [6-8] @ Titans [5-9] 10-14
The Jets played themselves right out of the playoffs.

Taking the Dolphins.

Bengals [8-6] @ Steelers [7-7]   (1pm CBS)

I’ll have to go with the Broncos.

Giants [8-6] @ Ravens [9-5] (4:25pm FOX)
Picking the Giants because I haven’t picked against them yet and I’m not going to start to now. GO GMEN… redeem yourselves!

Bears [8-6] @ Cardinals [5-9] (4:25pm FOX)
Going with the Bears.

49ers [10-3]  @ Seahawks [9-5]   (8:20pm NBC)
This will be an interesting game… I’m still going to take the 49ers but wouldn’t be surprised if the Seahawks won.

There is no Monday night football this week. I hope you have a safe and fun holiday!

Thanks for the edit Ben!
