Regular Season Week 8

I can’t believe that we are going into week 8 already. Football always goes by so fast… why can’t basketball go by this fast?!?!
This past weekend had its ups and downs football wise.  I decided to watch the early games at Taco Mac this Sunday therefore I was surrounded by Panthers fans. This was a good thing in theory because we all wanted the Panthers to win, but when they lost Taco Mac cleared out fast. Hey, at least my Giants won. We’re sitting pretty in the number one spot in our division.
I also did pretty stellar on my picks this week with 11-2.
Lets recap week 7.

Seahawks @ 49ers 6-13
Although I was rooting for the Seahawks I kind of knew that they weren’t going to win this one. It was a good defensive game to say the least.

Ravens @ Texans 13-43
Without Ray Lewis do the Ravens have a fighting chance? It doesn’t look good for those black birds.

Titans @ Bills 35-34
Even though Fitzpatrick out played Hasselbeck the Titans still came up with the win. I was surprised too. At least my cousin Abby will be happy with this win. My uncle Steve will definitely not.

Browns @ Colts 13-17
Luck had two rushing touchdowns to lift the Colts over the Browns. The Colts already have a better record than they did last season… The Browns… not so much.

Cardinals @ Vikings 14-21
Well I was right. The Cardinals are done and the Vikings are Legit!

Cowboys @ Panthers 19-14
This was a heartbreaking game, especially if you watched the game with a Panthers fan. Said fan stated, “If the Panthers lose this game I’m becoming a Giants fan.” I guess the Giants just got them another fan.
I suppose a good thing did come out of this loss, the Panthers fired their General Manager, so we’ll just have to see what’s next for this team.

Packers @ Rams 30-20
As always Aaron Rodgers is a beast and that’s all I really have to say about this game.

Saints @ Buccaneers 35-28
The Bucs almost pulled out a win but in the final seconds of the game the would be touchdown, to put the game into overtime, was called incomplete because the receiver stepped out of bounds before the ball was caught. He caught the ball in bounds, but because he stepped out of bounds prio,r he couldn’t be the first person to make contact with the ball. And that’s how the Saints ended up winning the game.

Redskins @ NY Giants 23-27
Holy Moses I do not like these nail biter games.  I knew we were in for one of those days when all the pre-game commentators picked the Giants to win. Not one guy picked the Redskins! Michael Strahan even joked about changing his pick, but I don’t think he ever picks against the Giants. (It’s ok Michael neither do I)
So said Panthers fan and I headed to Taco Mac to watch the games. It was a beautiful sunny Carolina afternoon so we decided to enjoy the games outside. There wasn’t much talking (which is good because I really don’t like to carry on a conversation while my Gmen are on TV.) but there was the occasional yell or cuss word mumbled under my breath. I really probably shouldn’t watch the Giants games in public because I never remember my knitting and I tend to be quite loud. I really could have used my knitting with this particular game. Said Panthers fan even asked where my knitting was. If I haven’t told you before I usually knit during football to keep me calm and relaxed.
I called my dad during half time and we both agreed we’d like to see the offense and defense do a much better job. The second half really wasn’t good for my heart with all the turnovers. Whenever Eli throws an interception I’m pretty sure a little part of me dies. When the Redskins took the lead with less than 2 minutes to go in the game my heart was racing and I just knew it was Eli Manning time and I had hope. Eli hit Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuz on a 77-yard pass and there was Salsa dancing in the end zone.  On the next series the Redskins fumbled the ball and the Giants recovered.  Then the Giants took the victory formation to end the game. Thanks Big Blue that was a heck of a game.

Jets @ Patriots 26-29 OT
The Jets really could have won this game. They even made it to overtime but lost the game after Sanchez fumbled the ball while being sacked.  Sad.

Jaguars @ Raiders 23-26 OT
The Raiders win it in overtime.

Steelers @ Bengals 24-17
The Steelers beat the Bengals. I’m glad I didn’t stay up to watch this game in its entirety it would have put a sad ending to my otherwise fantastic day.

Lions @ Bears 7-13
Cutler played a tough game with bruised ribs and all. Unlike, the game that would have taken them to the super bowl two years ago.

WEEK 8

Thursday October 25th

Buccaneers [2-4]  @ Vikings [5-2] (8:20pm NFLN)
Going with the Vikings. Out of all the Thursday night games this season, only one home team hasn’t been victorious. I like those odds.

Sunday October 28th

Dolphins [3-3] @ Jets  [3-4] (1pm CBS)
I’d like to pick the Jets at home.

Chargers [3-3]  @ Browns [1-6]  (1pm CBS)
I’d love to see the Browns win at home but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I’m going to have to pick the Chargers to win this game.

Colts [3-3]  @ Titans [3-4]   (1pm CBS)
Ooooh a divisional matchup. It’s hard to say. Either one of these teams could win this game. Do I pick the Titans to win to appease Abby or do I pick the Colts to win because they seem to be the better team…. Hummmmm. I’ll pick the Colts.  No the Titans. No the Colts.

Patriots [4-3]   @ Rams [3-4]   (1pm CBS)
Going with the Patriots. Hope I’m wrong.

Jaguars [1-5]  @ Packers [4-3] (1pm CBS)
Go Pack Go. I’m picking the Packers.

Falcons [6-0] @ Eagles [3-3]   (1pm FOX)
Taking the Falcons. Kill ‘em Atlanta! Soundly!

Redskins [3-4] @ Steelers [3-3]   (1pm FOX)
I have to take the Steelers. I feel dirty about this pick.

Seahawks [4-3] @ Lions [2-4]   (1pm FOX)
I’d love to see the Seahawks win. I’m picking Seattle I think the Lions are done this year.

Panthers [1-5] @ Bears [5-1] (pm FOX)
Sorry Panthers fans I have to pick Da Bears.

Raiders [2-4] @ Chiefs [1-5] (4:05pm CBS)
I’m going with the Raiders.

Giants [5-2]  @ Cowboys [3-3]  (4:25pm FOX)
The Giants are going to Jerry World and I will be picking them for the win. Again. I love when the Giants play in Dallas. GO GMEN!!!! PS my mom, uncle, and I all picked the Giants to win this game in the preseason.

Saints [2-4]  @ Broncos [3-3]   (8:20pm NBC)
I’m picking the Broncos for the win!

Monday October 29th

49ers [5-2] @ Cardinals [4-2]    (8:30pm ESPN)
49ers.

BYE WEEK: RAVENS, BILLS, BENGALS, TEXANS

Thanks for the edit Mom!

The Shenoa Report

Regular Season Week 7

It was another fantastic weekend all around. Instead of going to Charleston this weekend my non-liking-football friend came to stay with me in Charlotte. We had an epic visit and he left just in time for me to catch the Giants game! Best. Weekend. Ever!
Some crazy things happened in the football world this weekend therefore my picks were less than impressive, but really, who would have thought that the Patriots and Steelers would lose, and Cleveland, Detroit and the Jets would win?!?! Yeah, me either. My picks were 8-6 this past week.
An interesting tidbit of information for you, the entire AFC only has 2 teams with a winning record. The NFC has 7 teams with winning records.
Lets recap week 6.

Steelers @ Titans 23-26
God bless the Tennessee Titans. While the Steelers were literally falling apart the Titans held it together and won the game as unlikely as it seemed.

Chiefs @ Buccaneers 10-38
The Chiefs are always good at making their opponent look great.

Colts @ Jets 9-35
My prediction was the Jets would win… if they put Tebow in for the entire game. Otherwise the Colts would win.  So I was half right. Tebow did play and the Jets did win but Tebow wasn’t in the entire game. The Colts and Andrew Luck weren’t so lucky as they were rolled by the Jets.

Bengals @ Browns 24-34
And the Browns get their first win of the season! Yes, this was a shock to me too, but good for them.

Raiders @ Falcons 20-23
Atlanta is still perfect after this win, but I don’t think this will last too much longer if the Falcons continue to play as they did this game. Matt Ryan had 3 interceptions and they still won the game on a clutch field goal with one second remaining.

Lions  @ Eagles 26-23 OT
I mean I picked the Lions to win this game but I didn’t actually think they would pull it off. I’m so glad they did! I don’t even care that it took overtime to do it.

Rams @ Dolphins 14-17
The Dolphins got lucky at home. Had the Rams kicker not missed 3 field goals they would have won the game.

Cowboys  @ Ravens 29-31
The Cowboys had SO MANY opportunities to win this game and still LOST!!!!!! I’m not sure who exactly I should thank for this loss… the Cowboys or the Ravens!

Bills @ Cardinals 19-16 OT
Still kind of scratching my head at the outcome of this game. I really can’t believe the Bills won. On the other hand, are the Cardinals now showing their true colors?

Patriots @ Seahawks 23-24
It’s crazy to think my logic is right. I purposely picked the Pats to win this game because whenever I pick them to lose they win and whenever I pick them to win they lose. More importantly, way-to-go Seattle!!!!! Not only do your uniforms look sharp so do you!

Giants @ 49ers 26-3
I knew it was going to be a good day when I walked into the Ginn’s living room and the “Shenoa football watching chair” was already in place waiting for me. This chair actually lives at the other side of the house and is moved into the living room for the soul purpose of me watching football in it. As I type this out I realize how “princess-esk” I sound. Anyway, I sat down, took my knitting out, put my giants socks on (I already had my Cruz jersey and Giants panties on) and got ready for a stressful, nail biting, loud, upsetting game. I usually don’t like one-sided games UNLESS the Giants are on the winning side of them. So when Eli came out firing that ball with such great accuracy I was suddenly put at ease. Cruz and Hixon, had some AMAZING catches. Our running game was also outstanding. In the two weeks before this game the 49ers had put up a combined 79 points and only walked away with 3 points against the Giants. It was a fantastic game to say the least.

Vikings @ Redskins 26-38
I sure was wrong about this game. I hate when I’m wrong.

Packers @ Texans 42-24
It looks like the Packers are back… at least for this week. I just knew they were going to knock off the Texans and give them their first loss of the season.

Broncos @ Chargers 35-24
If you were anything like me watching this game you were so disgusted by half time you thought about shutting off the game. I did actually leave my friend’s house at half time but with my awesome new truck I got to listen to the game on my Sirius Radio. By the time I had arrived home the Broncos had scored twice. As I was walking up the stairs to my apartment I knew that the game was going to have to go back on and I wasn’t going to be going to bed for awhile. So glad I stayed up for the whole game! Peyton Manning is clutch. He had 3 touchdowns in the 2nd half and Phillip Rivers and company completely fell apart and gave up their 24-0 lead. The Broncos had 35 unanswered points making history by coming back from so far behind and winning by double digits.

WEEK 7

Thursday October 18th

Seahawks [4-2]  @ 49ers [4-2] (8:20pm NFLN)
I’d like to see the Seahawks win but the 49ers are coming off a very humiliating loss and I don’t think they’ll lose two weeks in a row so I’m going to have to pick the 49ers to win this game.

Sunday October 21st

Ravens [5-1] @ Texans [5-1] (1pm CBS)
I’m going to have to pick the Texans… The Ravens are pretty beat up. They’ve lost Ray Lewis for the year and that hurts them tremendously.

Titans [2-4]  @ Bills [3-3]  (1pm CBS)
As crazy as it seems I’m going to pick the Bills to win. I’m pretty sure we all picked them to win this game in the preseason as well.

Browns [1-5]  @ Colts [2-3]   (1pm CBS)
I think the Colts are going to bounce back this week and beat the Browns. Though, if the Browns beat the Colts it wouldn’t break my heart.

Cardinals [4-2]   @ Vikings [4-2]   (1pm FOX)
I’d really like to see the Vikings win although I’m pretty upset with them for losing last week. I still think they’ll bounce back and beat the Cardinals.

Cowboys [2-3]  @ Panthers [1-4] (1pm FOX)
There are so many reasons why I want the Panthers to win this game. That being said, Panthers, I’m letting my heart get in the way of my head and I’m picking you to beat the Cowboys. So win ok.

Packers [3-3] @ Rams [3-3]   (1pm FOX)
I’m going to have to take the Packers.

Saints [1-4] @ Buccaneers [2-3]   (1pm FOX)
I’m taking the Saints.

Redskins [3-3] @ NY Giants [4-2]   (1pm FOX)
Obviously I’m picking the GMEN. Dear Giants, we can’t lose anymore divisional games. You have to win this week. Love always and forever. Shenoa.

Jets [3-3] @ Patriots [3-3] (4:25pm CBS)
I’m using my Pats picking logic again and picking the Pats to win so hopefully they’ll lose. Go J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS.

Jaguars [1-4]  @ Raiders [1-4]  (4:25pm CBS)
I’m going to have to pick the Raiders.

Steelers [2-3]  @ Bengals [3-3]   (8:20pm NBC)
It would be super sweet to see the Bengals beat the Steelers. But I’m going to have to pick the Steelers to win this game. I hope I’m wrong.

Monday October 22nd

Lions [2-3] @ Bears [4-1]    (8:30pm ESPN)
 DA BEARS

BYE WEEK: FALCONS, BRONCOS, CHIEFS, DOLPHINS, EAGLES, CHARGERS

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 6 '12

The Shenoa Report
October 11, 2012
Regular Season Week 6

It was a great weekend for football; at least it was if you are a Giants fan. I actually didn’t get to watch any of the games this weekend but I was able to watch the highlights. You see have this friend who is amazingly awesome and practically perfect in everyway, except for one thing… He doesn’t like football!!!!!!! So when we spend time together football isn’t a part of it and I picked him over football this weekend.  GASP! I know. Don’t worry I was able to steal away and listen to the Giants game on my phone (Said friend also doesn’t own a tv or have the internet).
My picks were 9-5 this past week. Not too shabby if you ask me.
Lets recap week 5.

Cardinals @ Rams 3-17
I could have sworn I picked the Rams to win this game but in reading my report last week I had picked the Cardinals. Silly Shenoa.

Browns @ NY Giants 27-41
As I said before I spent the weekend with my friend in Charleston. He works the night shift so I kind of got on his sleeping schedule. I woke up Sunday afternoon a little after 3pm in a panic. I didn’t know where I was, and then looking at the clock I realized I’d slept through half the Giants game. (Thankfully before I fell asleep I remembered to put my #10 Manning jersey on in preparation for the game) To make matters worse I couldn’t find my phone. When I finally found it I had a bunch of text messages regarding the game and then a wave of anxiousness flooded over me because I thought the Giants were going to lose to the Browns. I pulled up ESPN Scorecenter and hesitantly checked the scores. When I saw that the Giants had taken the lead I then found the live stream of the game and laid on the floor and listened to the rest of it. I was excited to hear that Cruz had three touchdowns and Bradshaw had a record 200 yards rushing. I’m actually glad that I missed the first half especially the first ten minutes of the game. Watching the “highlights” was enough to make me queasy. Anyway, WOOOT WOOOT GMEN!

Dolphins @ Bengals 17-13
Well the Bengals could have won this game if Mr. Dalton hadn’t thrown 2 picks. The last one came with less than two minutes left in the game and gave the Dolphins the win.

Ravens  @ Chiefs 9-6
This game may have been the most talked about game on sports radio this week. Apparently the Chiefs fans cheered when Matt Cassel was taken out of the game due to a head injury.  The Chiefs players are furious about the lack of class with their fans. Eric Winston, Chiefs offensive tackle, was most vocal about it. Cassel was intercepted twice and also lost two fumbles, so he wasn’t having a good day and fans took notice. This does say a lot about the Ravens defense too, but Chiefs fans obviously didn’t see it that way. Honestly, I thought this game would have been a blowout. Instead there were no touchdowns only field goals that lead the Ravens over the Chiefs.

Eagles @ Steelers 14-16
Vick has moved on from interceptions to fumbles and inevitably it cost him the game. Keep up the good work Vick!

Packers @ Colts 27-30
Seriously did not see this win coming.  They are calling Luck the comeback kid. I feel this nickname should be reserved for Eli but then again I’m biased when it comes to such things. I’ve got to hand it to the Colts though who were down 21-3 at the half and came back to win the game.

Falcons @ Redskins 24-17
The Falcons improve to 5-0 and knocked RG3 out of the game.  Redskins backup quarterback Kirk Cousins looked promising until he threw two interceptions in the last two minutes of the game giving the Falcons the win.

Seahawks @ Panthers 16-12
Poor Panthers, poor, poor, Panthers. Cam was supposed to turn this team around but it’s not looking so bright for Carolina and their fans.

Bears @ Jaguars 41-3
Pretty sure the Jags didn’t even show up to this game. Maybe they thought it was an away game?

Broncos @ Patriots 21-31
The Brady Manning saga continues. But it wasn’t Peyton’s fault they lost the game. He threw 3 touchdowns to Brady’s one. They could have even won the game had McGahee held onto the ball at the end of the game, instead he fumbled giving the Pats the win.

Bills @ 49ers 3-45
There’s not much to say about this game other than the 49ers walloped the Bills. No surprise there.

Titans @ Vikings 7-30
I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, the Vikings are really looking legit this year. There’s a McNabb and Favre joke in there somewhere.

Chargers @ Saints 24-31
The Saints finally got a win and Brees broke another record by throwing a TD pass in 48 consecutive games. The record was formally held by Johnny Unitas at 47.  The Chargers could have won this game but had too many costly turnovers.

Texans @ Jets 23-17
Well the Jets came closer than I expected but still lost to the Texans. They could have even come back to win the game but Sanchez was intercepted with under 2 minutes to go in the game.  The crowd still chants TEBOW!

WEEK 6

Thursday October 11th

Steelers [2-2]  @ Titans [1-4] (8:20pm NFLN)
As much as I’d love to see the Titans win this game I don’t think it’s going to happen. I’m going to have to pick the Steelers though it pains me to do so and I hope I’m wrong.

Sunday October 14th

Chiefs [1-4] @ Buccaneers [1-3] (1pm CBS)
The Bucs are coming off their bye week and should be refreshed and ready to go. The Chiefs are coming off a tough loss and are desperate for a win. Who do I pick…. I’m going with the Bucs.

Colts [2-2]  @ Jets [2-3]  (1pm CBS)
My prediction is the Jets will win… if they put Tebow in for the entire game. Otherwise the Colts will win.

Bengals [3-2]  @ Browns [0-5]   (1pm CBS)
I’d really like to see the Browns win this game but they fall apart too easily so I’m going to have to pick the Bengals to win this game.

Raiders [1-3] @ Falcons [5-0] (1pm CBS)
The Raiders are coming off their bye week but I don’t think it’s going to be enough to beat the Falcons. I’m picking Atlanta to win this game.

Lions [1-3]   @ Eagles [3-2]   (1pm FOX)
The Lions are also coming off their bye week and I hope they’ve got it together enough to beat the Eagles. Don’t let me down Lions, I’m picking you to win this game, mostly because I can’t stand to pick the Eagles to win.

Rams [3-2]  @ Dolphins [2-3] (1pm FOX)
This should be a good close game. I’m picking the Rams even though I should pick the Dolphins because of home field advantage.

Cowboys  [2-2] @ Ravens [4-1]   (1pm FOX)
Dear Ravens, Your wins thus far have been far too close for comfort so I ask you this week to win and win BIG. PS I’m picking the Ravens to win this game.

Bills [2-3] @ Cardinals [4-1] (4:05pm CBS)
Until the Bills start to show up to the games I’m going to have to pick the Cardinals. Though I do have to tell you that during the preseason my uncle, mom, and I had picked the Bills to win this game.

Patriots [3-2] @ Seahawks [3-2] (4:05pm CBS)
I’d love to see the Seahawks win this game. I’m not going to pick them to win because whenever I pick against the Pats they win. So I figure if I pick the Pats to win this game they’ll lose.

Giants [3-2] @ 49ers [4-1] (4:25pm FOX)
This is the game I’ve been dreading since the preseason. I know the Giants can win this game. In making my preseason picks with my uncle and mom I picked the Giants to win, the others picked the Giants to lose this game. Well I’m not changing my pick. I’m picking the GMEN to win!!!!!!!!! (You may think I’m delusional and I’m ok with this)

Vikings [4-1]  @ Redskins [2-3]  (4:25pm FOX)
Man, I’ve got to take the Vikings to win.

Packers [2-3]  @ Texans [5-0]   (8:20pm NBC)
I think the Packers are going to win this one.

Monday October 15th

Broncos [2-3] @ Chargers [3-2]    (8:30pm ESPN)
I’d like to see the Broncos win this one. Both teams are coming off horrible losses. I’m taking the Broncos.

BYE WEEK: PANTHERS, BEARS, JAGUARS, SAINTS

Thanks for the edit Mom!

The Shenoa Report Regular Season Week 5 '12

The Shenoa Report
October 3, 2012
Regular Season Week 5

It’s always a little bit harder to write this report after a Giants loss. I felt ill after the game. But I was hopeful that the Bears would raise my spirits in Monday night football, and they did.
I am thankful that the refs are back, I’m pretty sure the rest of the football nation is glad too. They even got a standing ovation for their return before the game Thursday night. Now we all know these refs aren’t perfect and will make mistakes, they already blew a few calls this weekend, but at least they maintained control of the game.
My picks were also a lot better this week. 12-3
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month in the NFL. Just remember real men wear pink!
Let’s recap week 4.

Browns @ Baltimore 16-23
This was a great game to welcome the real refs back. The Browns really showed promise and almost came back to win.

Patriots @ Bills 52-28
If you only count the first half of this game the Bills looked great and would have won. Maybe someone should remind Buffalo that the game has 4 quarters and you shouldn’t quit after the first half. This was an ugly day for Bills fans. If nothing else, you can say that the Bills and the Pats have the same record.

Chargers  @ Chiefs 37-20
At least the Chiefs are consistently bad. You can count on them for that. Sorry if you’re a Chiefs fan, you’ve got a long season ahead of you.

Titans @ Texans 14-38
Interceptions are one thing but, when they are returned for touchdowns it hurts a lot more. This was the case for the Titans and largely the reason why they didn’t win on Sunday.

49ers  @ Jets 34-0
Do you hear that? Yes, they are chanting TEBOW, TEBOW, TEBOW! Hey Rex Ryan, did you hear that? I bet his name haunted your dreams last night. It can’t get much worse for the Jets, you might as well give the people what they want. And that’s Tim Tebow.
The 49ers on the other hand were quite happy with the way the Jets played.

Seahawks @ Rams 13-19
Shorty McShorterson forgot that interceptions really don’t win games and threw 3. The last one put an end to the game and sealed the Seahawks loss.

Panthers @ Falcons 28-30
This game was heartbreaking for Panthers fans.  They had the lead and let it slip through their fingers at the end of the game. Those last second field goals are killer.

Vikings @ Lions 20-13
The Vikings are really showing promise this year. They must finally be getting the last of the Favre stench out of the air. And the Lions, well they look like the Lions of yesteryears. Poor Lions.

Bengals @ Jaguars 27-10
The Ginger strikes again with another win for the Bengals.

Raiders @ Broncos 6-37
Well it looks like Peyton Manning and the Broncos finally got it together. YAY!

Dolphins @ Cardinals 21-24 OT
I can’t believe I’m writing this. The Arizona Cardinals are now 4-0. It took an overtime to do it… but they did it. Wow.

Redskins @ Buccaneers 24-22
Oh, this game was SO CLOSE. It broke my heart a little bit to see the Bucs loose. Like I said those last second field goals are killer.

Saints @ Packers 27-28
Wow, it was a super close game. I honestly didn’t think it would have been that close. And this was another game that came down to a field goal in the final minutes. Only this time the field goal was missed and the Saints drop to 0-4.

NY Giants @ Eagles 17-19
I’m still feeling ill after this loss. I really don’t want to talk about it. As I sat there watching the final seconds of the game I kept saying over and over and over again, “don’t leave it up to Tynes…”

Bears @ Cowboys 34-18
If anything could make me feel better after a Giants loss it would be a trouncing of the Cowboys. So thank you Bears for making me feel a little bit better. Romo threw 5 interceptions!!!!!! He’s getting to be in good competition with Vick.

WEEK 5

Thursday October 4th

Cardinals [4-0]  @ Rams [2-2] (8:20pm NFLN)
I really don’t think that the Cardinals can keep this winning streak up but at the same time I don’t want to bet against them. On the other hand, I didn’t think that the Rams could beat Seattle last week… ok I’m going to pick Arizona

Sunday October 7th

Browns [0-4] @ NY Giants [2-2] (1pm CBS)
This will probably be a tough game, and a close game but I’m picking the Giants to bounce back from last week and win.  GO GMEN!!!!

Dolphins [1-3]  @ Bengals [3-1]  (1pm CBS)
I’m taking the Bengals.

Ravens [3-1]  @ Chiefs [1-3]   (1pm CBS)
Going with the Ravens.

Eagles [3-1]   @ Steelers [1-2]   (1pm FOX)
As much as I hate this sentence that is about to come out of my mouth… I’m not only picking the Steelers to win I will be rooting for them too.  PS I hate the Eagles. … more than Big Ben… well it’s a tie actually but right now I hate the Eagles a little more.

Packers [2-2]  @ Colts [1-2] (1pm FOX)
Going with the Packers.

Falcons [4-0] @ Redskins [2-2]   (1pm FOX)
GOOOOOO FALCONS WIN WIN WIN. Yeah I’m picking the Falcons

Seahawks [2-2] @ Panthers [1-3] (4:05pm FOX)
I’m going to take the Panthers. Yes that’s right. I might be crazy.

Bears [3-1] @ Jaguars [1-3] (4:05pm FOX)
I’m picking DA BEARS!

Broncos [2-2] @ Patriots [2-2] (4:25pm CBS)
As much as I would like to see Peyton Manning beat Tom Brady…. Well, the heck with it. I’m taking the Broncos… ballsy I know. I’m just tired of picking the Pats.

Bills [2-2]  @ 49ers [3-1]  (4:25pm CBS)
Pretty sure the 49ers have already got this one in the bag.

Titans [1-3] @ Vikings [3-1] (4:25pm CBS)
Sorry Abby, I’ve got to pick the Vikings.

Chargers [3-1]  @ Saints [0-4]   (8:20pm NBC)
Ok I really don’t think that the Saints are going to go 0-5 so I’m going to have to pick New Orleans to win this game.

Monday October 8th

Texans [4-0] @ Jets [2-2]    (8:30pm ESPN)
Even if they put Tebow in I’m going to have to pick the Texans.

BYE WEEK: COWBOYS, LIONS, RAIDERS, BUCCANEERS

GOOOOOOOOOOOOO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
